This setup happens quite a lot. Its not a nigerian thing. If i had married my first love who was an English guy (whom i met online, mind you), i would be in England living proper English woman. Lol.

I personally have interacted with 3 people who got to US thru this "green card" marriage. Two happened to be good friends of mine.

When i was medical student, a fellow student- a nigerian guy told him he had passion for medicine but couldnt really get to his dreams being in nigeria. So happened, the door of opprtunity came to him in the form of an American lady he met online.

Married her. Though she was around his age so it wasnt a grandMa situation.

Today, he is a practicing doctor in US, living his dreams. Still married to his American woman with 3 beautiful children. For this guy, it may have started out as green card thing, but he stuck this woman and it wasnt a scam marriage.

Thing is: i dont see anything wrong with it IF the two people involved know what they are getting into.

I am aware most green card marriage lije this dont last but some do. Good ones make it work.

Its a rough jungle out there, so however and whichever way mother nature provides food for ya works- in so long no one gets hurt.

There's absolutely nothing wrong about this kinda arrangement, this is a very smart and sensible move by the guy and its an inspiring story since they both got married, bore children and he is living the life.

In this case he didn't use the woman and dump her for his selfish reasons, as a matter of fact, I wouldn't mind something like this but it has to be with someone not so older like we have seen in the pictures here.
