Commissioner for Sports no dey that state wey governor come carry himself waka go? If there is a Rivers State Football Association, then they should do this and maybe invite C. Ronaldo to Rivers to the launching of the Academy. That's more honourable. Anyway I don't know how the governors think anyway. Its not my job to think for them.

Wike is too small to compare with Okorocha. What has he done to better the society? African and world leaders recognize Okorocha because he has used his foundation to train over 50 thousand people. The use of the statue to sweep aside the giant stride of bringing the President of the richest African country cannot make you compare Okorocha who has as Governor of a poorer State offered free education to tertiary level and built over 400 schools to Wike that is still busy with few roads or taking glory of Amaechi roads.

1. Honestly assess yourself. Do you have any standout trait? Are you fast? Tall? Exceptionally technical? Exceptionally calm under pressure? We can trap, run and pass. What extra thing do you have about you. Mine is that from a very young age I have always been exceptional ay winning the ball at every level I have played at, even when I played with people way older than I was.

2. If you do have a standout talent, and skill to it. Identify the skills that are important for your position and practice them relentlessly.
Buy a ball and train on your own for two hours every day.

3. Join a team and become the coaches favorite by obeying all his instructions

4. Be sure to make videos of your games.

5. Reach out to coaches an agents with your videos.

Well I'm not quite either of the above options but im somewhere in-between. I have coached an amateur side for about a year. Also, I've played with professionals both local level and quite a few who played or are currently still playing abroad in countries like Ghana, Senegal, Tunisia and Israel. I was highly promising myself but life got in the way. That being said if I still want to play I have access to the game at least at 3rd division level.

So I can say I understand the game. I also played county league in England and they put me in the team after just one training session. Lol.

I would say do not quit school..instead use school as a platform. At 18 you can still earn a sports scholarship to US universities. Are you in your school team?

I don't think school stops you from training or doing what you have to do.
