Are you done about Ghana!!!!
I love Nigeria because everything is possible
* Our politicians are the best comedians
* Our grand-fathers has been the leader since independence
* Even in a double lane you have to look both ways before crossing
* You have the right to vote whom you want but who gets elected is their choice.
* In the House of Liars bills executed into their pockets.
God bless Nigeria

irrespective of where I am from and how I was raised, I speak for the public.. We can afford light, water, education, security, health etc but as a poor man in nigeria, you can't afford it.. But in ghana, such poor person can enjoy those things I am enjoying in nigeria.. That makes nigeria messed up..

We Africans we have our problem but here in the states where I live, I rarely here Ghanaians lament about no light, no water, insecurity... But when I am in my nigerian people or community, be it Yoruba, Igbo or pidgin, it is the same complain.. All this makes nigeria jagajaga.

In Ghana, it is a big shame when they play eedris abdulkareem song jagagaga... The song is a hit but the way they all go gaga and mock Nigeria, you will bend your head in the club..

Even my burkinabe gf was disappointed about how disorganized Lagos, Nigeria was when she came visiting.. She said, my country may not be rich as yours but there is a good sense of order living in burkina faso.. She was right when I paid visit to ougadougou and bobodioulasso...

What "states" do you speak of? You got me confused.

Tell your babe to come down here to Akure. It's quite organised too. We all know how choked up Lagos is. It's tiny and densely populated. So excuse the roughness.

We don't deny Nigeria has issues too. But stop comparing the good points of other countries to our bad points. We know our problems. We don't need any foreigners to gloat over us.

Those ones rocking to Nigeria jagajaga. Well. Na their bad belle go kill them.

That is why I said that the population of the country should also be put into consideration. In every countries of the world, there are stubborn and calm people.
U might be able to control a group of 50 people in a geographical location but u might not be able to control a group of hundred people in that same location. Do you know that the population of the whole of Ghana is slightly higher than the population of Lagos alone? Nigerians should learn to be appreciative and grateful. I know that a lot of things are going wrong in Nigeria, but when you visit two or three different countries, you will understand that life is not easy anywhere.

It's not about population joor

Liberia is smaller than both Gh and Ng, yet it is much more jaga jaga than anywhere in Ng or Gh

The US is more populated than Nigeria but is more organised than Nigeria.

And yes, I don travel well well to different countries to see things for myself

Nigerians need to learn how to behave civil.....

That will go a long way in changing this country

Every one is aggressive in Ng

one thing I know about ghana nigeria, ghana are usually the first to start something of such nature, but with time, nigeria would start with the initiative and then supersede ghana...

This is where I see Nigerians acceptance to technology ahead of ghana. Ghana they have good top leaders who implement new policy but they lack finishing... While Nigeria, we don't have good leaders to implement it at early stage but when such project is implemented, nigerians are great finishers....

20. There's a church beside the hotel i stayed, on sunday while they were having there church service, i didn't hear a thing, i just saw people gushing out at the end of the service.

21. And social life is top notch, as they play life performance more that they use DJ's, you'd see a family go up to the stage to dance their sorrow away around 1am.

22. There's always light and water, so its safe to walk around even at night.

Summarily, my opinion is that Ghana is generally a better place than Nigeria , The People are friendlier and it much safer to move around even at the local markets. The crime rate is better .Nigeria could have been easy as well but owing to its population and fierce competition.
You may notice even foreigners taking public transport in Ghana but that would be difficult in Nigeria.

When it comes to cost of living there is no big difference and one positive thing in Ghana it easy to save money by going local i.e Local foods,Local markets etc.

If you think Ghana is better than Nigeria then by all means you and Mr eazi can remain in Ghana 'cause your presence in Nigeria is irrelevant...
No matter what people say about us, we are a special and talented people, we are exceptionally gifted, we rise above any and every situations, we are not quitters 'cause quitters never win, we fall only to rise higher, situations make stronger, it brings out the best in us (ask Davido since he competing with wizkid instead of looking up to him ,what he has achieved) We thrive in tough times ( in sports, entertainment, academics...)

But the private sector can drive these current innovations, after all it was not the Ghanaian government that installed the ATM machine in the Gas station.

Haitians travel to dominican rep alot and then come back to talk about how peaceful it is in Dominican... But how many Dominicans goes to haiti? A few.. And what is there to talk about haiti, none. Because haiti is scattered! That's how nigeria and ghana is... It is when you travel and see places then your mind becomes open.. You start to compare and contrast.

Thank you.
Tell 'em the nuanced difference that sets up one country better than another for sustained development. Blinkered view of patriotism continues to wreck Nigerians

Accra is very beautiful, though an expensive city! You didn't go to the malls @op?

I don't know where OP decided that things are cheap or value for money in Ghana - they are not.

Everything costs at least 50% more in Ghana.

Medicine that costs 1500 in Nigeria costs the equivalent of 10k in Ghana. Even the price at MMIA is cheaper.

Ghanaian kente cloth is cheaper in Lagos than Accra.

Electricity tariffs are at least double.

Water costs more. The food that your gateman will buy costs three to four times as much as what your gateman will pay in Nigeria.

And they don't have 24 hours electricity, the situation is better than Nigeria but they do have to run generator for roughly 10 hours a week, probably more during the dry season.

Driving in Ghana is often less stressful experience because people are more considerate, for the most part. But again, Accra does not have as many good roads as Abuja, Lagos, Kano or even smaller cities such as Calabar or Uyo. Which means that while there are fewer cars the traffic can become a real nuisance, especially on Liberation Road and Spintex. There are fewer slip roads or link roads, the ones that exist are often not tarred. For an example, anyone in Accra - drive from the Koala end of Oxford Street towards the Vodafone office, at which point turn right. Drive 50 metres down that road and you will come onto a dirt road. This is Osu, central Accra, for those unfamiliar.

Speaking of Vodafone, their service is poor. Phone calls are just about passable but their internet service is frequently awful. The only other option is MTN, friends tell me that they are worse. And that is another advantage to Nigeria - there are more options when it comes to telecommunications. Once again, they are cheaper.

Ghana has its advantages for sure - primarily that it's a smaller, more manageable country and thus a calmer society. The electricity situation is better but not perfect. But most importantly they are not forced to labour under a cabal of semi-literate mallams. There is no northern elite steering the country in the wrong direction at every juncture and hiding behind the Quran and 'tradition' to justify nonsense, such as child marriage. And they don't have a coupist masquerading as a democrat.

Why did he not compare capital to capital?

Compare the capital of Ghana or Burkina Faso with Abuja.

Compare the other cities with Calabar or even Kano.

Lagos is a part of Nigeria, no doubt, but the Lagos mainland is a disgrace. The island is better than most African cities however.

1. Welcome to benin republic, picture 1 shows the border of Nigeria and Benin Republic. You have to trek while you pass any of the borders.

2. Welcome to Ghana. Here's an illustration of a ghanian plane arriving gallantly though i commuted via a car from lagos, ABC transport in lagos is also a great alternative, just make sure you have someone to receive you before you move.

3. The journey was more than 24 hours, we had a lot of waits due to the fact that the car is a New Nigerian registered vehicle, so we had to do a lot of clearance at the borders. Picture 2 shows a charity building in togo alongside gh.

4. Picture 4 illustrates a filling station at Ghana's border town, Afflao, a closer look at my hand in the picture shows my power bank. Only if i had known there wouldn't be a need for it. grin grin grin

lol! "Blocage mentale" as the ivorians would say when they read such statements like yours.. Also, They say " we are loud mouth"..

You know, in Costa Rica, they are referred to as "pura vida" it means “simple life” or “pure life”. Why? Its their way of life.. They don't talk too much.. Costa Rica is seen as the happiest countries in the world, mostly because its inhabitants don’t stress about things the way most foreigners do.

My friend, travel and see the world.. We are loud mouth, we brag too much when we know truly that we are "suffering and smiling "..
