tutulicious:

Pregnancy has different sides and this is one of the side dear.
I get irritated too like you, only way I response in with a very serious joke, and then he jokes back soon enough anger has disappear then we would be laughing... then I would say am not taking to you again, is it not you that ( say the offence) he would always offer to make amends and that would pass. Believe me sometimes I laugh when he says sorry because de mata no even get head sef.
However, don't be too hard on yourself, just know he would want to share in how you feel and would not want to inconvenience you in any way as he loves you.

There is nothing better than having someone that is patient to be honest. Lucky for you that's how your oga is. Imagine if an immature man is the one having to deal with unexplained anger. He will just overreact and start looking for revenge. Some more immature ones will even start cheating.
I know it will pass sha. I just need to up my patience and take things lightly.

It's absolutely normal, but please understand that he is also human. Requesting that you call him back when you miss his call is simple etiquette wink. Funny enough, it's those small small things that didn't used to matter that irritate most. Try and explain to him how you feel when you know you are in a good mood so he doesn't get overwhelmed. What helped me was immediately thinking of something abstract, leaving the scene, knowing he didn't just start doing those thing but has been doing them, realizing that I'm the problem and not him. Hth. Pregnancy and em wahala, may God make it easy for us, Amen.

I know the call back request is very normal that was why I was surprised at myself.
Thanks, will try to explain all the funny behaviour when am in a better mood but I have a feeling he already knows because I was a very patient and sacrificing person before pregnancy and marriage now I just dey get power to charge and vexing for everybody. I nearly started quarreling with a man inside taxi the other day, maybe the bump was giving me power because I knew he will never fight a heavily pregnant woman back grin.
All the same I'll clear the air thanks smiley

Lemme Rant embarassed

No morning sickness in my pregnancy journey so far which i thank God for but my breast and tits itch me badly all day especially at night undecided. I always feel bloated too cant even lie on my back comfortable is that not too early at 11weeks + embarassed.

Secondly, anytime i take something sweet like oranges, tangerine and soft drinks, that is when i do have nausea undecided . The only thing i crave for that kills the nausea which i eat almost everyday now is hot eba prepared with yellow garri and Ogbono soup prepared with bitter leaf. I cook ogbono with uziza before but stopped when i heard its not safe in pregnancy. But bitterleaf and ogbono is bae. grin A big pot of ogbono soup with bitter leaf no longer last more than 2days in my house cos that is what i eat almost everyday morning and night i pity my dh cry. I hope i am safe in all this eating?

By the way, my catarrh have refused to leave me for close 3months now i am just managing it...

END OF RANT grin grin grin
That ogbono story is same with me o...for the past 6 weeks, i eat only eba and ogbono. I throw up after taking fruits. So scared of malnutrition. Chai, i tot i was d only one o

Good morning mama's. Lemme keep to my promise.
I'll share my ora(oha soup) recipe. Representing south-east.

Ora(oha) soup

Ora(oha) soup is native to the south-eastern Nigeria. It's a traditional soup similar to bitterleaf soup(Ofe onugbu) but cooked with ora(oha) leaves instead. Though is only vegetable that distinguishes the Ora soup and bitterleaf soup even though is almost the same method of cooking but they taste differently. Oha soup is not meant to be too thick or too watery.

INGREDIENTS

1&half derica Palmfruit(akwụ) (optional).
Ora(oha) leaves.
Uziza.
Fresh pepper.
Crayfish(enough/plenty).
Cocoyam(Ede).
Ogiri akwụkwọ.
Assorted fish : smoked fish, stocked fish, ice fish.
Assorted beef: beef, roundabout, towel.
Red oil(3cooking spoon).
Knorr, salt(to taste).

Preparation Directions

1: Peel the chaff(not the back) of the cocoyam, wash and cook till is soft that it can easily be pounded(if is big, cut into two before cooking). Peel the back and use mortar and pestle to pound the corms to a very smooth paste without lumps. Put in a plate, cover and set aside.
2:Wash the palmfruit and cook till soft and easily be pounded. Extract the oil from the palmfruit.
Note : I don't use the same method for banga soup here. In banga soup I extract only 2wice so as not to get a watery end product since I don't like adding tomato paste to it. For ora soup, I extract more than 2wice cos the water end product is what I'll use for the cooking.
3:Grind your Crayfish and pepper and set aside. Remove the Ogiri from the leaves, put in a small bowl and mix with little water.(it can smell oo)
4: Using your fingers, cut your Ora(Oha) leaves into not too tiny pieces. This is to prevent it from getting darker. Wash the uziza and cut into tiny pieces.
5: Wash your beef, stocked fish with water and salt. Wash the fresh fish with salt and set aside. Wash the smoked fish and soak with hot water.

Cooking Directions
1: Put the beef and stocked fish in a pot(pot that will contain the soup), add salt and knorr cube and cook with not too plenty and not too small water(remember your palmfruit extract). Remove the stock fish when is a little done(in case you're cooking with the head of stock fish) so it won't scatter.
2:Cook the fresh fish with a lil salt in a different pot and set aside
3: Transfer the palmfruit extract inside the pot containing the beef, add the smoked fish and allow to boil for some mins. Add the cocoyam paste in small lumps, add red oil(2-3 cooking spoons) and cook till the lumps have dissolved. You can add more water if is too thick. Add the dissolved Ogiri, salt & knorr(to taste) and crayfish&pepper and allow to cook for some min, add the shredded uziza leaves. Cover your pot and allow to cook for some min.
4: Wash your shredded Ora(Oha) leaves. Add the already cooked fresh fish and stock fish. Add the Ora leaves(turn with turning stick Turn-Garri) so the fish won't scatter. Add a lil water if is too thick. Allow to cook for about 3-5mins. The soup is ready.

Serve with Fufu and others tongue

Note
1: palmfruit is not compulsory
2: you can add your ogiri, crayfish and pepper before adding the cocoyam paste but it gives it a very lumpy product.
3: You can use Achị, ofor, grounded cocoyam for thickener.

Another sure way to avoid lumps from the Ede is to pour the oil when you have pound to some extent. I do this when am sure the Ede is smooth, kind of mixing in the mortar... #IgboWife

Thanks ma. We don't usually accept foreign currency.

Sooo sorry to hear this. God will replenish u n ur hubby's business. I gat question to ask o is ur sales boy a new person into the business dt he agreed part payment and the dollars? I'm suspecting him. Endeavor to discipline him so dt he will be more serious n notify ur husband b4 agreeing to receive part payment to regular customers nt to talk of irregular customers. @mama completey, so sorry for d loss but let's still thank God its money and not life.....d man might have loaded himself with correct Africa magic and thereby remote d salesboy to yield, although dis doesn't stop d sales person from being questioned too.
It is well ma, God will replenish all that u and hubby have lost

As u Kuku talk am earlier say Na scam u jst come from (jst kidding). Most times scan don't give d exact wks especially @ d later stage of pregnancy. If u knw ur LMP(last menstrual period), jst jejely work wth it.

I don't think there's something to worry about sis, remember that it is a -/+. The weight too is OK as babies tend to add much weight later in pregnancy! Enjoy your pregnancy ma'am...

@ma'am completey may God return the money you lost in double fold. Amen!

As for that your sales boy, ask him questions very well o!

Hmm! Scam everywhere! May God replenish us! Amen
