Not really! The deal is that I have been on the other side just like you and eventually embraced the JW because we searched the scriptures and saw the light. My grandparents were staunch voodooists. He has been conditioned to reason this way since he was a baby. Independent thinking is bad and considered apostasy. That means you can't think on your own. The governing body thinks for them. In other words, when you read a Bible passage, it s a crime to understand the bible and interpret it yourself. You must read it using the governing body interpretation of that passage.
