Hello guys, please how do you go about this question on the VAF, Do you have savings, income or properties blah blah? I selected yes because I have money in my savings account, but the next question asks how much do you get monthly from your investments and properties? I don't have that, I only have savings, should I choose no?

. YOU have been refused under 320(7A). Any further application if found untruthful or forged documents attracts 320(7b) that 10year ban. Good luck

If you answered yes to the first question, then an interpretation of the second question is how much money do you save monthly?

Technically the OP is free to re apply anytime, however practically, his application will be considered under 320(7B), meaning that a refusal will attract a possible 10 years ban at the descretion of the ECO. Having say that, only a divine intervention can make ECO not apply the 10 years ban in the event of a refusal. In order words, for the OP reaapplication in 2018 to be successful 6 year after the previous refusal, the OP must be able to convince the ECO beyond reasonable doubt the issue of the forge Tax clearance certificate raised by the ECO was not willful deception. The OP will need an immigration lawyer preferable based in the UK with proven records of success in addressing 320(7A) refusals to handle his next application for any change of success. The bottom line is that OP will not be seeing the UK soil in a very very long time. If the OP is really interested in visiting the UK, let him contact a UK based immigration lawyer ASAP. Alternatively, the OP can bite the bullet, reapply and get the 10 years ban so that the clock can start counting till 2028. The truth is that refusal under 320(7A) is the UK immigration stylist way of saying we cut you for deception, but we cannot give you a 10 year ban immediately according to our immigration rules and guidelines, but if you dare apply again, we shall ban you for 10 year!

I am so sorry to bother you again, just running out of time so not enough room for research. The payment page is only showing amount stated for priority processing, i was expecting it to add up both priority and visa fee. Am i missing something?

I'll be applying for UK visitors visa for the first time, I have Nairobi, Mauritius and South Africa as my travel history and previous visas. These are the documents I intend to submit next month:, kindly review
* My international passport.
* personal six months bank statement with Bank reference letter showing income from business.
* complete CAC documents; I co own a company with my sibling of which I'm listed as a director.
* flight and hotel reservations.
* letter of introduction; I'll write it with the letterhead stating also that I'll resume my work once I return.
* Tour bookings & airport transfers & email thread with tour agent and hotel.
* my budget outline and letter of explanation.

I hope this is okay? I do not have any other documents and all the above are genuine, I'm single too.

Kindly peruse and respond people.

hello House
my application since Nov 30th 2017 has been escalated three times after i contacted them by mail, which means i have paid 3 times...how long do i have to keep waiting for every 15working days
what can i do to get my passport back as this is becoming something else...i am honestly tired,..when did 15 working days turn into almost 100working days...and from my observation from other people who have waited this long to get their passport back...i think this problem only happens to those who submitted their application in Ikeja and not those in VI..correct me if i am wrong...

Why allow an embassy to keep your passport for up to 5 months, when you’re not apply for an immigrant visa. If you were a frequent traveler, you will understand. I would advise that you physically go to the embassy and asked for your passport back with or without a visa.

How can one visit the UK embassy in VI without an invitation..will the security men at the gate even allow me in talkless of listening to me,..i have been considering this options but i felt it would be a waste of time as i won't be allowed in without prior invitation by the embassy...i honestly don't know why the UK embassy would keep one's passport for this long,..i wish to make other travel arrangement but without my passport..there is literally nothing i can do...i got pissed when i received another mail asking me to wait for another 15 working days,..which means i won't get my passport until next month April..are this people serious at all ? at least other people receive mail about their application not being straightforward and the UKVI needing more time before making a decision..but to me,the only mail i got was the one that says something about my passport now waiting for decision and this has been since 4th of DEC 2017..i think they threw my application away lol grin grin grin
advice me the best way to retrieve my passport please thanks

Go to embassy with your TLS collection slip. Speak with security officer at the gate telling them that you are going to visa/consular section to enquire about your visa application and possibly to retrieve your passport. If you explain your situation, they will allow you in or call an embassy official to attend to you. If they say you should send an email, insist that you have done that, but you are not satisfied with their responds, that you need to speak with a visa officer urgently.

Yes, in the new online application website. You will need to use a different email address for each application. However, the old online application website allows the use of a single email address for multiple applications.

thanks. Had already completed mine on the new site. Guess they now need email addresses sooner than rather later.

Vacation/tourism.

Okay the document are sufficient. However, you will need to convince the ECO why you choosed UK for vacation. I suggest that you do a detail itinerary of places you will be visiting and why. This can be listed in the cover note to the ECO.

Hi Guys,
Your opinions will go a long way; and if there's someone who has been in this situation and scaled through, please share their story.

2005 - I applied for a UK student visa but was refused due to insufficient funds and low WAEC grades.
2006 - Changed my name and DOB; got a new passport and applied for another student visa in 2007 and by this time, the UK had started taking biometrics as part of the application process. I was caught and presumably banned for 10 years. The passport used was not returned back to me as they believed that was not my true identity.
All these I did as I was ignorant and just despirate to have a bright future, which I am already having without stepping out of Nigeria.
All my siblings eventually left Nigeria in the struggle and live in US, Canada and France; I am the only one left here for now grin

Fast forward to 2018, I have since graduated from Uni and now working as an analyst for an Oil Company.

Now, I have a fiancee who is settled in the UK and who will eventually be a British citizen in 2019. We plan to get married next year and I am planning to apply for a spose visa. I will declare my previous applications, including the change of name and biometrics, which I believe would now have been deleted as it is over 10 years; however, I am sure there is a likelihood of a refusal under section 320 but I will appreciate if there's someone who has such experience and who can share what they did.
I work full time and I earn a considerably huge amount of salary. I also have a business and few properties and can show a genuine bank account with good cash flow and a balance of over N40m; my fiancee also earns over £30k yearly, so finance is not an issue.
I am confident that I would normally meet the requirements if not for the refusals and ban which happened over 12 years ago.

Going by your experience guys, what do you suggest?
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by phardey: 6:17pm On Mar 22, 2018
If they haven't made a decision then they haven't made a decision.
My mum's application was in from 24th April 2017 to 28th Oct last year.

I was even told to go to Sheffield cos I invited her Don't bother going anywhere.

It's a waiting game. You've got to be patient if you can't simply withdraw your application

Mr Oga, What are you coming to do in the Uk when you have over 40M in your account.
My advise is that wait till your fiance has naturalised completely before you submit your application (that should give your more verge)
Also, your finances in Nigeria will not be considered at all while application for your spouse visa.
Like you said you have to declare everything you did in the past. Include everything in a cover letter
Also your initial application might be refused, do not relent go through the appeal process and then you might get.

Hello gurus. Thank you for your precious time responding to queries here.

Please I will like to know what I should do concerning my application which I'm planning to file in during the mid year. I plan traveling end of August.

Right now, I'm working and I have my personal business. I want to apply for a 6 months visa.

After reading about the the requirements, I want to know if you would advise me to write my cover letter to the ECO on my company's letter head or just a plain paper.

I have my CAC registered since April 2017.

For my biz, I sell on the online platforms, and they make payments into my salary account when orders are delivered. I want to know if I should change the account my online platforms pays to another saving account different from my salary account ?
