Help guys a question

I don't have my waec certificate
Can I print my the waec result and scratch card and submit it for study permit application
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 14 by Twallace: 10:03pm On Apr 17, 2018
Hello guys.

My sponsor (sister) paid my first term tuition and have my living expenses in her dom account. Hope I'm OK?

Is it compulsory she pay the CAD $10,000 into my own dom account?

Please note she can't do this at the moment due to some reasons.

Hope I have chance with just the school fees payment?

Bieber78,

Prefably a WAEC CERTIFICATE is needed here. Go to your high school and collect it. But if you can't get it soon. Then you can submit your online waec result print out attached with its scratch card.

Twallace,

Be guided that payment of tuition fees is not a prerequisite to Visa approval. But it goes a long way to show your sister genuine interest/commitment in sponsoring your studies in Canada.
Also, its not compulsory but necessary she transfers the 10,000CAD into your dorm account. Therefore, since it won't be easy for her to complete a transfer to you due to some personal reasons, the first term upfront tuition payment is sufficient. Let her write convincingly that the funds in her dorm account will be made available to you once you acquire your TRV.

All the best

Please can someone help me re-share the information on how to link your paper application online? Thank you in anticipation.

Big congratulations to the approved TRVs too. May the Grace shine on those awaiting too.

Congrats to the newly approved, i was just smiling as i read through!

A) Please, is it necessary for sponsor's letter to be notarized?

B) is it also necessary for sponsor to get a reference letter from the bank even if the SOA is made available?

Jewel80,

This doesn't imply to you. Print and fill the last 2 pages with pen which is the study permit questionnaire and leave the rest.

I want to apply online. Is that form not supposed to be filled?

Jewel80,
A) If your sponsor's letter bears an official signature or stamp there is no need notarizing them.

B) Reference letters from the bank is good, but not compulsory as many applicants has secured their TRV without this.

Jewel80,

Online applicants are not required to fill the study permit questionnaire. All forms to be filled are made available on your online document checklist.

I didnt open a dorm account, my sponsor had the tuition fees in her account and i stated that in my SOP. I havnt paid my tuition fees....

Your sponsor was a third party, No commitments, and got approved! You're very lucky!. Well, from the look of things, your application scaled through because you presented a very convincing/winning sponsporship letter that made the visa officer to believe your sponsor's claims. Congrats once again!!
