Thanks a lot @happytbaby and @cochtrane.

I was only asking cos I am travelling to Kaduna to stay with my kid sis who is due to deliver her baby sometime this month. I might be away for a little over 2 months, so I wanted to be sure that I don't need to rush back to Lagos to do the Biometric capture within that period if our PPR comes in after July 31st.

Thanks again.

bday:

Hello @wale006, Please I want to clarify three things regarding your post. Please I want to confirm if it's the ACCA Diploma in Accounting and business (F1 to F3) you evaluated (1) and if its with WES (2). In addition, please did were you given any exemptions by ACCA i.e. Paper F1 (3)?

Also, I sent you a request for e-mail communication, please accept.

Thanks.

Guys, pretty new here. Has anyone got an info on the minimum number of points for Prince Edward Island PNP? And if possible, their draw dates.
I'm not sure PEI has a minimum number of points for candidates the way provinces like Ontario do. You'd need to submit a separate Expression of Interest in addition to your Express Entry profile before they consider you. And they have their own point grid system. I believe the cut-off point also changes each invitation. So, you may need to check their website. But these are their anticipated invitation schedule you can work with. These are previous invitations issued so far. Here you may find a bit more info regarding their system. This pdf has a lot of info that may help, including their point grid system. And there is a Nairaland thread where you can discuss PNPs and ask more questions.

No one can say. They may or may not call you. As a personal opinion, I lean more towards the latter. But who knows. Just keep an eye out.

I finished my 1st degree in Unilorin, though i didn't use them for this journey, but back in 2014 I paid for verification of my WES US credential evaluation for study purpose. so I think same would apply to your hubby... he needs to contact someone in examination and records for more info.

But I'm not sure there is direct conversion to CPA for ACCA members with ICAN exemption. I understand direct conversion would only apply if you started ACCA from Foundation. I stand to be corrected though

Can you give an online pg certificate I can do within 3-5months as specified.

I don't know the course you want to take so it may be hard to point you to a particular school but some examples are :

George Brown College https://coned.georgebrown.ca/

Mc Gill University http://www.mcgill.ca/continuingstudies/programs-and-courses ( A bit pricey but worth it)

Capella University https://www.capella.edu/.

ACCA can be gotten from ICAN after 5 examination papers are written ( 4 papers from December 2018)
and one can get CPA from that ACCA certificate...

It is when the Conversion is direct and Full ( MOU ) that a person cannot use it to get CPA membership

Congratulations to all those who declared PPR today.

As this last part of the "SCENE 1" of your immi-journey has ended in praise, so shall the "SCENE 2" in Canada break forth into beautiful acts and sweet plots.

It will continually end in praise for you IJN!

I haven't actually written but I understand from the website that it takes about six months .

It is a CBE and is written all year round. To register at any time, most accredited CBE centers require that you give a minimum of 5 days notice prior to your date of choice.

If you think you can prepare and be ready for the exam in one month, nothing stops you from registering. If you also wish to have some more time for preparation, no problems. To each his own. I think this is a very flexible option.

Hi guys,

Just to share the information I got today. I was @ VFS Lekki to submit my Passport, the man @ the submission desk explained to me that my passport will be sent to ACCRA, and I will have to pay #14,350 for each passports attached to my application.

I explained to him the PPR mail I got and how I assumed my Passport will be treated by the Lagos Visa Office. He then explained that the change only meant that passports can’t be sent to ACCRA directly through DHL anymore. Everybody will have to go through VFS.

Toh……they accept cash only@VFS

Cheers!

Wow! Congratulations!!! smiley Contact your school to inform them once you get your COPR so that they can change your legal status to a domestic student. The funding you got as an international student will likely be cancelled and then you will be considered for a full scholarship (meant for domestic students). I got the same offer and was given full funding. Congrats once again.
Sent you a pm

On point... the OP can also go to British Council website to see their dates for the ACCA exams...Or check @Talkingboy's posts. He posted the pic in part 3 of the thread

It's still scary and risky, sending off one's originals. Anything can happen but IRCC have its reasons.
