If you obtained your GCMS notes and have a totality of circumstances understanding behind the reason for your refusal, you may apply at any time as stated in the refusal letter-if you feel you can overcome previous reason for refusal. Tis the ripe time to reapply for fall. It won’t be considered desperation. Best!

Thanks. Also, it is a PGD program I'm going in for but I plan to do masters after completing the PGD. Do I need to explain all this in my SOP and secondly, do I project finances towards the masters too cos I only explained a breakdown for the PGD program?

Financial Breakdown only for your PGD program and how that can be translated back to Nigeria or fits the overaching greater plan of your education or what you want to do with your life. Finally pray for grace. It’s not a race for the smartest or who presents what. It Is God that has mercy on who he has. If it wasn’’t, all the smartest would have been in Canada by now. That is why you have to also follows your gut instincts. If it tells you to mention that you want to go for a masters after your PGD, do it. You can come off as authentic to the VO that way, but there is no way to tell. Best wishes!

Did you apply online or paper route?
If you applied online it will not work at all but paper application submitted at VFS office should work.

Also is it possible to use zip file to compress the documents and upload the zip file so as to accommodate many documents?

Bros forget those Grammer. If you intend going for paper route then forget adding any picture. In fact let me share my experience. There was this important picture i believe would have helped my application but unfortunately i was asked to remove it of which i did. But after they cross checked my documents and handed the folder to me. On my way to biometric i put back the picture picture into the folder and after about 30 mins it was my turn for biometric. The first question the biometric guy guy asked me was what i was searching the folder for. I was surprised but i know i must have been picked by cctv so i was honest and he asked me to remove the picture.

Adding pictures is a big NO at VFS. Anyone who really wants to add pictures should go online route.

Whatever picture you have, paste in on your word processed SOP. Riddle solved! I did that in my SOP, countless pictures of family, job and projects. Nobody returned mine!

To get total fund available, you need to add your tuition for first year + plus one year living expenses and any other fund available.

You are only expected to show fund for the first year only and not for entire duration of the study in case your program is more than one year.

It is officially recommended you submit at least 3 months worth of bank statements. But feel free to submit as much as required to show the depth of your financial strength. Some feel 6 months does that. Some feel one year does that.

Hi guys..i just printed my sponsor's soa today and there's a 2m that was deposited into his account today making his balance 2m plus...my question is will this be regarded as lump sum as the highest deposit he has received is 5.7m and he earns 3m monthly
....

I am waiting for my GCSM note. once is made available, will be getting free consultation from the individual. Please apply it as you deem fit.

• Mention the program for which you have been accepted, and outline a couple of reasons why you wish to study in Canada
• Explain your overall educational goals
• Continuation of studies, academic interests, advancement of career opportunities in home country, linkages between your education goals and career plans, and how studying in Canada will help you achieve these goals
• Is a similar program offered in your home country/country of residence?
• Do universities in your home country offer the same program? How does your Canadian degree differentiate? What research have you done to prove your point? Why are you choosing Canada over staying in your home country to study?
• How will the program enhance your employment opportunities in your country of residence/citizenship?
• Previous employment, availability of jobs for which you don’t yet meet the educational requirement (but will after completion of Canadian degree and upon return to your home country)

• As a student in Canada, you are a temporary resident and must leave Canada after your studies are completed. The processing agent must be satisfied that you will leave Canada by the of the period authorized for your stay and respecting the conditions of your temporary status in Canada.

• Provide details of previous education (if any)
• Start and end dates, full name and address of educational institution(s), and completed degrees/diplomas/certificates

An agent is processing a temporary work visa, with secured employment for a friend. The arrangement is that he will pay when the visa is out. My question is, how realistic is that with all the stories I have been reading about agents

No idea. I am not a computer guy. A lady I was helping was confronted with compressing so many documents into the required 4gigs. Some guy out of Lagos charged her and refused to disclose the software to us. So I don’t know. Maybe others who do should chip in.

Seems like you were denied on all fronts. Try and have third party sponsor to commit by paying your one year tuition fees and deposit 10k into your dorm. Then work on your SOP to show how your degree would translate back to Nigeria in ways that makes it beleivable that your employment prospect back home are good or great. Fill every gaps and show what meaningful engagements you have been involved since your last studies. Work on your ties, landed property, family, social or professional. Show why study in Canada and not Nigeria. Show why you should believed that if the privilege of a TRV is extended to you, you will study at the designated institution of learning that accepted you and sure to depart Canada at the end of your studies. In essence show why you are a genuine student. Best wishes!
