And you know how much Buhari has been paying to them? Or you want to tell me Buhari has not been paying anything because he told you so? The same way he keeps telling you he hasnt been paying subsidy but they are stealing money away in undisclosed subsidy payment? My dear stop deceiving yourself. APC knows how to cover themselves with lies and deceive you people.
The difference is Buhari is not paying any oil marketer subsidy just to import empty cargos of petroleum products like the ineffectual buffoon did!

I dont think 80% of those who commented read what she said, lazy youths. If Goodluck had chosen to play hardball, they would not pass the budget which would have been disastrous. About #500B or so was added to this years budget before it was passed, which is the usual pay off. If you think its about Goodluck and Buhari, then u must be a fool undecided

I disagree sir.
It was added because of the rise in oil price at global market. This they raised the benchmark

The worst of Apc is better than the best of PDP. pdp succeeded in institutionalising corruption in Nigeria. It's so unfortunate that they pioneered this present political dispensation. Provided a serious party was in charge of this country since 1999 we won't be in this mess that we find ourselves.

Inasmuch as I hate buhari, pdp is an anathema (abomination). Never again will they come close to Aso Rock.

Imagine 17b =17,000m. That's enough to set up thousands of our unemployed youths.

Has Buhari and APC not paid MORE fuel subsidy that they said was a fraud?
Please stop allowing yourself to be ridiculed by stories that are incomplete and incomparable.

This is due to circumstances beyond their control, they cannot dare increase the price of fuel so they must pay it till dangotes refinery comes on board

Jesus Christ, I really SMH for Nigeria, what future do we have....

Can you fathom that almost 80% of those commenting especially on FP did not read that little excerpt from the book to get the details of what happened? They just read the headline and ran away with that. I don't blame them though, I blame the MODs that distorts stories just to get traffic.

So asking GEJ where is our money is now a problem? If it is not wickedness and confusion, what is stopping PMB from calling GEJ and NASS members for questioning?

We paid NASS N17b as "election expenses" for its members, in order to have 2015 Budget passed.

These thieves keep stealing our money, people that we elected to lead us are instead stealing from us.

Not surprised. GEJ is a confused mugu. I now understand why they are holding Buhari to ransom on the budget.

They are ganging up against him because he refused to renew oil bloc licenses, he would not release govt money for their campaigns; in short he would not allow them chop as usual.

You missed it, the difference is that Jonathan administration captured everything in the budget so that even if money is stolen, everyone can know and ask question. However in the case of Buhari, everything is shrouded in secrecy you don't even know who is stealing what. Do you people even understand the word transparency? Such word is missing in Buhari's dictionary. Even aircrafts bought wasn't budgeted for. Which sane and transparent government spend money without budget? Only a corrupt government does that.
Buhari distate for democratic institutions and due process totally make him unfit to govern a sane society. Only Nigerians hail such a despotic and corrupt person.

It seems like the legislators think the budget includes the loot-venues of the executive,
Hence, their indirect asking for their own share.

... Unbelievable.

Dude, I am not supporting Buhari, I am just amazed at those insulting GEJ and Okonjo without even taking time to read what transpired.

Everybody just ran away with the headline.

She was just detailing the opportunity cost of passing the 2015 budget but nobody read to understand what she was saying, they just saw 17billion and ran away with that.
