Hello house, am about re-applying buh there is something confusing me in one of the form that has the employment start date nd end date. In my last application, I left the end date blank since I was still gonna come back to my place of work after my studies. Buh when I got to VFS, the official that attended to me said nothing should be left blank, so I was made to fill another form putting an end date by force. Now my question. Won't this have an implication on my application or wont I be contradicting mysef by putting an employment end date, when actually I stated it boldly in my SOP that I will be coming back to my company to continue working. Please those of you that have gotten ur Visa, did u fill the employment end date? Ur response will be appreciated as I wanna re-apply soon.

The officer at vfs was right ....the employment end date can be the date you fill the form last or the date before your submission....it's doesn't matter ooooo.....even the visa officer knows you are still working till date you submit...you can't leave it blank

Goodmrn could someone help lay my concerns to rest. I submitted my online application last week and I accidentally skipped the correspondence from my Uni that ask me not to pay tuition until arrival because they have no refund policy in existence so it's money to thin air if outcome is negative and also my student transcript won't come out from the school called University of Ibadan after like 4months, (such an amazing school). But every other docs were intact, does this really affect ones chance?. Though I know visa approvals in our Naija lately has bin by grace
please what's the school name?

Greeting my people. Application in week 9 ; wrote the consulate on Monday and got a direct feedback from Nairobi yesterday that my application has been finalized and should be hearing from VFS in the coming days. (Paper Route, Medical Passed - June 16) but there is no update on my portal when I linked my application ( still: eligibility review as well as background check processing since June cool . Any idea on what this could mean?

Did you do upfront medical? If yes, the outcome may be approval or refusal I.e 50-50 but If you did your medical on request then the possibility of receiving approval is 90% sure. Just keep your fingers crossed. It is well.

I omitted my fathers source of income. So they requested for his employment letter showing evidence of his salary.
God was really on your side . Naturally ,,,,CIC won't ask for that important document you omitted, you only get to see that on your CAIPS note after denial that sponsor's source of income unknown . Hold on to your God tightly

yes oo. Key factor is God. I prayed well and fasted and all my loved ones prayed as well. Funny thing is the medical request and extra document was requested same day. This process is all God.

Do your best and submit all that is required and put the rest in God hands.

please what's the school name?

Oohhh it's;
Mount Saint Vincent University, Halifax. N.S

They only offer 6 graduate programs in all, mostly social sciences/education programs (M.A/M.Ed) and the only science program being offered is Applied human nutrition. But I really don't know about undergrad programs, just go ahead and check for yourself.

LOL! grin Attorney jnyuwa02, you've decided to pull me out from my little suite. How was your trip, I hope you got a lot of goodies for folks in here?. I believe your return is to offer a new perspective. All the same, It's nice having you around. I sight your recent contributions to this honourable thread, I must commend it's a wonderful one. More power to your elbow my distinguished Attorney!

My reason for being absent from the thread it's because of my tight schedule. Henceforth, I'll try my possible best at my own pace to keep things running smoothly here.

Stay safe and welcome back!

Please I need your help I mistakenly sent(validated my online application by ticking that I haven’t made any visa application to any embassy before whereas I have applied for US Embassy a year ago.. But I have met every requirement for the Canadian study permit.i have laid part of my school fee to the school. I have had my biometrics today too. Please someone should help me on this. Will I be denied as a result of that mistake?

When did you submit your application? If you submitted your application recently, you can request that your application be withdrawn stating reason(s) for withdrawal rather than taking such expensive risk considering what the consequence might be. But i cannot tell whether you can recoup your application fee or not, however it is advisable to forfeit your application fee than risk being banned. This image is from VFS website.

Just a piece of advice.

Good morning everybody,
I need help on something please. Ideally, I should read all 289 pages of this thread to get answers but time constraint and urgent reasons won't let me
I am single with no kids and just got admission into a school in Canada. My paternal uncle (who is a citizen) agreed to sponsor me (tuition, accommodation, feeding, books etc ) what documents do I need from him for my visa application ? Does he need to transfer any money to my account after paying my tuition? Any need for that? He is married with 2 kids (all citizens)
Thank you

Good morning. Accolades to those that contribute in every little way to this post. Trust people are getting results here year in year out.

Kindly educate my ignorance. I have always wanted to further abroad, Canada precisely. Just started working late last year and I am firm in saving to travel out for my education but the problem is, I don't even know the process or the cost. This whole thing gets me confused on what to do first and how to go about it. I know I am meant to go through the post from ab initio but discussions come in and I am lost.
I would be glad if anyone can guide me through. Thanks in anticipation.

Just relax we were all at this point at some point
Much of it would depend on your profile whether your going for a msc or PGD/c
First things first get is to get admitted then we can help you with visa requirements
Do make sure your intended program shows consistency with your previous degree or shows a proposed career growth to increase your possibilities of a TRV
God being with you , you can get a scholarship which would reduce the burden on you .

Just believe that’s the .

God bless our hustle
