The so called Islamic State West African Province(ISWAP) admits to the neutralization of 9 key Media Personalities by Gallant Troops of the Nigerian Army(NA)

The terrorist group is known for its online media propaganda and quest to maintain a virtual caliphate.

The annihilation of members of its media team further confirms that the NA has decimated the group and they no longer have freedom of action.

The pictures and names of the dead terrorists is below:

Not random killing either was it targeted. Some killed in airstrikes, based on information or tip-off, some killed in action etc....

These guys are mostly likely just combat footage camera men. So there is a high chance of being KIA when they accompany their front line suicidal elements.

Our army should request the help of the U.K. Combat training team to assist us in establishing proper combat engineering units.

Combat engineers need to design and construct these camp bastion type defensive structures using the hesco barriers to erect structures that would withstand anti aircraft artillery fire and also provide elevated watchtower like positions.

Then as has been mentioned before, use land mines, razor wire, machine guns and mortars to shape proper kill zones. These would channel the advancing jihadists to their certain deaths.

Furthermore, me thinks that stand off direct attack weapons such as the TOW missiles, or the Israeli spider atgm would help to neutralize anti aircraft guns before they get within effective range, should be acquired asap.

All these, plus readily available combat air support aircraft such as the weaponized crop duster the AT-802 Air tractor , would save the lives of our brave troops and prevent them from being overrun.

If the brits and Americans didn't set up their defensive structures as such, they would be overrun just like a lot of our bases are being overrun and weapons looted.

I believe the air tractor can be gotten off the shelf or at least a lot sooner than the Tucano.

Most of them are not recent killings has they have been reported by ISWAP itself and some intelligence agencies/military intelligence. And new set of Boko guys have been appointted to continue the job of the so-called martyred.

And Nigeria need the help of a foreign country for this? Really? wow, unless we have some serious mental retardation issues, this is something a county like Nigeria can do on her own, if it needs to, there is no need bringing in the UK or US for such
And if we want to but can't, then we've got ourselves a sad country

The solution to half of our FOB issues, AGL's, and rapid firing guns, that basically create a wall of lead.....Coas, mentioned buying gatling guns and it was all over the news, I have never seen one or seen anyone that has seen one.....3 gatling guns in a FOB, are a game changer, as it basically, makes the assaulters hide their heads in a region of no cover and wipe out technicals while mortars wreck the BHT, but seems this common sense isnt common.

I respectfully disagree. In my opinion, what the Army needs to do is to invest heavily on HESCO barriers with stacks of three on top, sentries and patrols to give adequate situational awareness and of course area denial weapons like mines. A well protected pillbox on watch towers armed with HMG's would be cheaper and more reliable than Gatling guns. Trenches surrounding the base also need to be deeper and leave limited points of entry to create a bottleneck to attacking forces which will turn into an awesome killzone for motars and HMG's

FOB's have to be built in relative proximity to each other and also fire bases so as to be able to render reinforcements and artillery fire support from a distance when a sister base is under attack. The key is a mutual defence arrangement.

NAF AIRCRAFT OBLITERATES TACTICAL COMMAND CENTRE, NEUTRALIZES SEVERAL TERRORISTS AT ALAFA IN BORNO STATE

The Air Task Force (ATF) of Operation LAFIYA DOLE has recorded another major breakthrough against remnants of Boko Haram Terrorists (BHTs) operating in the Sambisa Forest general area of Borno State. The operation, which led to the obliteration of a major tactical command centre as well as the neutralization of several terrorists, was executed today, 10 June 2019, after persistent Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) missions led to the identification of a compound within Alafa on the fringes of the Sambisa Forest that was being used by the terrorists as a command post. Accordingly, the ATF dispatched an Alpha Jet to attack the location.

Overhead the vicinity of interest, the target compound was spotted with heavy presence of terrorists. The Alpha Jet attacked the location in successive passes scoring accurate hits on the target leading to the obliteration of the tactical command centre and neutralization of several BHT fighters.

The NAF, operating in concert with surface forces, will sustain its operations to completely degrade the terrorists in the Northeast.

In a Doccie shown on NTA by The Army, I saw the Gatling guns being fired on a range with a tripod. I think Jake posted a pic two years back.

Meanwhile, the answer given to you by the other fellow is the best bet for us.

If I wasn't aware of the exploits of some of NAF boys in AFSF (especially the 1st set) I'd have join people to call them unserious (due to their gravitation to media).

Well, Since they're not "exposing" any thing, We gaze on their pix! cheesy
