About the slavery it was a normal thing in the olden days we even have it in our society now as so called "" house boyS"" and ""house girl"".
If you read the Bible verses well this so called slaves we're bought by their masters from their family.
There is Even a part in the old testament that make slaves been given rewards of either being freed or marrying wives or even taking over some properties of their masters.

It was a normal stuff.
That why the Bible has rules so the master doesn't maltreat the slave.
