It's not only about saying no alone. It's about the men initiating it as well and all the blame is being apportioned to women. Make una fear God when judging.

Just lookup the post I quoted. The op placed the blame squarely on the men for doing the chasing. I only added mine to balance that pov.

I’ll go straight to the point, she has been disturbing me to legalize our relationship since last year. I couldn’t take it anymore so I decided to let her know what I have I Mind.

I told her before I will wed her, we both need to have 10 million as reserve in an account for emergency. She brings 5m while I also bring Mine.

I do want a secured future for the both of us but she no dey reason with me. Always complaining age is not on her side.

She don vex leave my side since morning telling family and friends that i have been wasting her time.

I’m wondering if I did anything wrong

Yes, you did.

Assuming you told her you want to save up the 10million, I will understand or at least offering 8million and suggesting she add 2million. How can you ask her to do 50/50 for the 10million saving.

The second issue is even if you want to save up the money alone, there need to be a timeline too.

If yes, that is it. If no, go to their office and tell them to allocate to you what is due according to the amount you paid. If people keep going to their office to challenge them, they will stop this ripping off nonsense.

Hmmmm! What a SIMPle man he is.

He should go look for his own wife and let the community honeypot be, she will still regret it all when she will look for husband but none to show

There is probably another guy in the picture, who she and her family preferred. All the cancellations is a tactics to get the other guy.

She will probably be getting married to the other guy very soon.

after much Bleep, and the girl told him before now, him want quit, will him return the Bleep, abi dey nor Bleep

If you gat the story, the girl didn't tell him her father is occultic (ROF) but that he is traditional. So, she was being crafty if not deceitful with the hope of manipulating the guy to submission by saying "I told you before".

Being traditional doesn't mean you are an herbalist or an occult. Most traditionalist simply believe there is God but don't believe in accessing Him through any of the well known imported religions but through ancestral worshipping where they mostly use local drinks, colanut etc to do their thing.

Nairalanders,

As I await my night bus to fill up for my journey to Lagos, I am filled with lots of emotions.

A few mins ago, i just got a call that needed me to be in Lagos tomorrow morning for a period of 6 months and it's for good.

However, I left behind my best friends, my twin girls 3years, my first daughter 6 and my son 8 and my wife. Didn't even see them to huddle them, cos they were still in school.

Guys, Tell me whatever you can. Honestly, I am broken. Have never stayed away from family this long ever before.

Thank You all..

Journey mercy!!!

Stay focused on your purpose of going there. Be smart at what you are doing but make sure your integrity and sincerity is never questioned. That is don't cut corners!

Most importantly, remember you are married and stay away from adultery while you keep in touch with your family via voice calls and video calls.

To your success!!!

Crime / Re: My Mum Was Beaten With A Machete By A Man Owing Her Money by Stevenbright(m): 9:01pm On May 06
Beeb1e:
Hello everyone, I got a call from a man in the Village (Elele, Rivers State) on Tuesday night, that we should look for a way to come and carry our mother as she has slumped and was rushed to a hospital, where she was in coma.

He explained to me that my mother went to demand for the payment of the debt the man is owing her and he angrily beat her up, he stripped her , tore her clothes, her underwear was torn too. I’m literally crying as I type this. Everyone that tried to stop him he chased with the machete. Now my dad is late , else he won’t have tried this.

I am in Lagos so I’ve not seen her my sister that was able to travel to Elele to see her sent me the pictures.

She is out of coma now, but still unable to sit or stand or talk. We also noticed she is bleeding from her private part.

We arrested the evil man with the Elele police but the community Igwe bailed him, he is a known person in the community and owns a hotel there.

I really want this man to receive this level of Physical pain or more, because my mum almost lost her life.

I don’t know what to do or how to go about getting justice for her.

We are at military hospital port harcourt now.

Although your story lack clarity. That is you didn't state the transaction between them and how much he is owing your mum. As these basic details will help you get people that can be of help to you and your family.

That not withstanding, some Nigerians are very ungrateful and wicked. How can you cause a harm to someone you are owing? This is not an isolated issue. Going forward, people should be careful who they help and if you must do, watch your back. Let it be a complete transaction. It is better you give the person a discount while you collect the rest in full once and for all than allowing the person to be owing you.

Crime / Re: Crime Suspect In My Area ,will Police Pick My Call If I Hide My Number , by Stevenbright(m): 6:13pm On May 06
Write a letter containing what you would have said on the phone. Duplicate it into about four or more, envelope them and place two in each police station of your interest. At least one of the stations will act on the information.

To place them, factor out what time and period of the day the police station will be deserted somehow and place the two distance apart so that at least one of them may be found by someone in the police station.

Just address as anonymous and state that you are doing it for the common good of your community and as a way of also supporting the security work of the noble Nigerian police.

They can go anywhere for whatever they want which in most cases doesn't have any positive impact on our national development but they must not give an inch of our lands in any parts of Nigeria as a base for the US or French security forces or any other countries for that matter.

If they do, we the youths will resist it with all our might because you can't mortgage our resources to yourselves and then do same to our common territorial heritage. kiss

The total package is 260k, actual rent is 150k, agreement and commission is 110k.

I have been able to deposit 210k since last month, left with 50k. I actually borrowed to add up the 210k I deposited.

I will comment on the two sentences I quoted from your post.

Firstly, imagine that the total package is 260k, while the actual rent is 150k, just because agreement and commission is amounted to 110k. This is one of the bad things going on in our society today. The percentages of agreement, commission and caution fee is too much and is making life unbearable for many people.

Secondary: "I have been able to deposit 210k since last month, left with 50k. I actually borrowed to add up the 210k I deposited." Why will you borrow to pay for rent. If you can't comfortably pay it by yourself now, how do you intend to be able to continue to renew it?

Good day everyone!! I am emotionally shattered as I type this message. I have been suspecting my wife for years now but no concrete evidence to confront her.

There is a boss of my mine who happens to be our family friend. Each time he calls my wife, she deletes the call history immediately. This has been happening for years but I keep quite because i love my wife and my children so much.

Of recent, i decided to know what is happening by hacking her call with him. Lo and behold, they are into deep relationship that my wife calls him baby. Infact, sleep has gone out of my eyes and am thinking of how to deal with the situation.

It should be noted that i am not working under the man in question only that we are church members and he has rendered countless of help to me. I am wondering what puts my wife into this mess. I am graduate but i decided not to work for anybody but to focus on my farming. I am doing well financially bcs i can boost of 500k or more every month. We are not lacking anything at all.

Please house ignore my typo and help with good advice.

Note: i dnt want to divorce my wife and am ready to forgive her bcs she has been of great help to my success and moreover, i love my family very well. What should i do to stop them?

You are not ready to face the reality of the situation. So, just assume you are not aware and keep living your life like that.

But obviously, the help he renders you is probably towards the care of his children which are under your custody. This is the reason why one needs to question the purpose of some helps....

I just went to knock at his door. He just shouted who is that. When I told him I'm the one he told me he doesn't have money that he would give me when he has. He didn't even come out to see me. He's still inside the house and he's door is locked

Am just holding myself honestly, because if I do what is in my mind people will say is because of 5k.

Wait for him to fulfill his promise. Why you are waiting, clarify with the person you sent the money to by informing him about what transpired between you and the ungrateful neighbor. The reason for this is that if he fails to refund you before the next payment, just inform who collects the money to get yours from the said neighbor.

This means that two payments will be coming from him and if he doesn't fulfill it, the other neighbors will be on his neck and hence the battle will be fought on your behalf.

Fashion / Re: Helping The Poor These Days Is Very Dangerous by Stevenbright(m): 11:30am On May 01
Testiebobo:
In this life not everybody you see really deserves a helping hand. I can tell you that some poor people are proud than some elites.
We once had a neighbour who we were very close to. As in family-friends. So one day i saw the trouser that my friend was wearing, the trouser was under-sized for him because he had grown taller than the trouser's length. And that is even one of his best trousers he wore to church.

So one day i picked some of my favourites clothings and jeans trousers even palm shoes. I ironed the clothes and some trousers and presented it to him. He was very glad and happy and showed his mum, the woman pretended to be happy about it sha.

But till date, i have never seen my friend wearing anyone of them. The thing pain me o because i still loved the clothes and shoes i gave him. I am even confused maybe it is my friend or his mother that are ingrate. What do you call this type of attitude?

Happy new month!

One thing I have come to understand in dealing with people is that don't help people if they didn't ask for the help because they mostly will not appreciate.

Also, even the ones that ask of you, make sure you don't always offer the full help or at least delay it even if you can offer it right away because if the assistance seems too effortless, they won't still appreciate it. Infact, they will likely come back with a higher demand soon with the entitlement that what they are asking for is nothing to you.

poor performance of student in 2024 utme examination. who is to be blamed? Parents, teachers , student.
let's discuss.

Blame me please!!

On the other hand, this is an indication that the Nigerian society is headed in the wrong direction. For some of us, it is not a surprise because the signs have always been there.

If the candidates create time to study hard, who will do yahoo for them, who will do hookup for them, who will slay on social media for them, who will do sports betting for them.......

I tell people that our problem in this country have gone beyond just leadership but multifaceted and the family as the basic unit of the society is where the rot is now domiciled.

An average family today is a place where:
1. Parents do not question or monitor the activities of their wards.
2. The parents don't know how well their wards are faring academically.
3. The parents are the ones that pay for examination malpractices for their wards.
4. The parents don't care how many hours their wards spend watching television or doing unprofitable things on the phone.
5. The parents are the ones that enroll some of the children into yahoo training adventurs.
6. ..............

Dear Men,One mistake you should never make as a man is raising kids with all your life savings to eventually get so much exposure that they won't want to stoop low to living around you.

Upgrade yourself as u upgrade your kids

Plan your future so you won't have your kids too far from you..

Having all your kids abroad looks like an achievement until your old age sets in

That's when you will know that sending you money is not as important as having them around you..

That's when you will know that life's fulfilment is beyond money but quality of time spent with your grown up children and grand children..

I've had an Uncle who raised all his families abroad , died at 78 and none of his kids came home to burry him and give him the last respect/honour

This is not a matter of marrying many wives ..

It's about being intentional with your old age plan..

And if marrying many is your strategic plan, ensure you execute it with wisdom.

Men seems to cater so much for family that we forget ourselves..

My Brother, don't forget yourself in the mathematical equation of life..

You matter a lot

Always put yourself into consideration..

This old age we are talking about is nearer than we thing..

Just look at your primary school days...

Still fresh in your head right? Just like yesterday

That's exactly how it will look when that old age sets in like a thief in the night..

Don't be caught unaware

May we not live it in regret

Life is moving really fast..

May God grant us the opportunity to live long in sound health and more wealth..
