WarrenP: Yes, you did. Assuming you told her you want to save up the 10million, I will understand or at least offering 8million and suggesting she add 2million. How can you ask her to do 50/50 for the 10million saving. The second issue is even if you want to save up the money alone, there need to be a timeline too. 2 Likes |

duncan511: If you gat the story, the girl didn't tell him her father is occultic (ROF) but that he is traditional. So, she was being crafty if not deceitful with the hope of manipulating the guy to submission by saying "I told you before". Being traditional doesn't mean you are an herbalist or an occult. Most traditionalist simply believe there is God but don't believe in accessing Him through any of the well known imported religions but through ancestral worshipping where they mostly use local drinks, colanut etc to do their thing. 3 Likes |

Crime / Re: My Mum Was Beaten With A Machete By A Man Owing Her Money by Stevenbright(m): 9:01pm On May 06 |
Beeb1e: Although your story lack clarity. That is you didn't state the transaction between them and how much he is owing your mum. As these basic details will help you get people that can be of help to you and your family. That not withstanding, some Nigerians are very ungrateful and wicked. How can you cause a harm to someone you are owing? This is not an isolated issue. Going forward, people should be careful who they help and if you must do, watch your back. Let it be a complete transaction. It is better you give the person a discount while you collect the rest in full once and for all than allowing the person to be owing you. 2 Likes 1 Share |
Crime / Re: Crime Suspect In My Area ,will Police Pick My Call If I Hide My Number , by Stevenbright(m): 6:13pm On May 06 |
Write a letter containing what you would have said on the phone. Duplicate it into about four or more, envelope them and place two in each police station of your interest. At least one of the stations will act on the information. To place them, factor out what time and period of the day the police station will be deserted somehow and place the two distance apart so that at least one of them may be found by someone in the police station. Just address as anonymous and state that you are doing it for the common good of your community and as a way of also supporting the security work of the noble Nigerian police. 1 Like |

They can go anywhere for whatever they want which in most cases doesn't have any positive impact on our national development but they must not give an inch of our lands in any parts of Nigeria as a base for the US or French security forces or any other countries for that matter. If they do, we the youths will resist it with all our might because you can't mortgage our resources to yourselves and then do same to our common territorial heritage. |
Family / Re: Assist Me Pls by Stevenbright(m): 9:14pm On May 05 |
Viccur: I will comment on the two sentences I quoted from your post. Firstly, imagine that the total package is 260k, while the actual rent is 150k, just because agreement and commission is amounted to 110k. This is one of the bad things going on in our society today. The percentages of agreement, commission and caution fee is too much and is making life unbearable for many people. Secondary: "I have been able to deposit 210k since last month, left with 50k. I actually borrowed to add up the 210k I deposited." Why will you borrow to pay for rent. If you can't comfortably pay it by yourself now, how do you intend to be able to continue to renew it? |

But obviously, the help he renders you is probably towards the care of his children which are under your custody. This is the reason why one needs to question the purpose of some helps.... |

Properties / Re: Why Do People Behave Very Wicked Like This by Stevenbright(m): 2:01pm On May 02 |
Gbadugbakun: Wait for him to fulfill his promise. Why you are waiting, clarify with the person you sent the money to by informing him about what transpired between you and the ungrateful neighbor. The reason for this is that if he fails to refund you before the next payment, just inform who collects the money to get yours from the said neighbor. This means that two payments will be coming from him and if he doesn't fulfill it, the other neighbors will be on his neck and hence the battle will be fought on your behalf. 3 Likes |
Fashion / Re: Helping The Poor These Days Is Very Dangerous by Stevenbright(m): 11:30am On May 01 |
Testiebobo: One thing I have come to understand in dealing with people is that don't help people if they didn't ask for the help because they mostly will not appreciate. Also, even the ones that ask of you, make sure you don't always offer the full help or at least delay it even if you can offer it right away because if the assistance seems too effortless, they won't still appreciate it. Infact, they will likely come back with a higher demand soon with the entitlement that what they are asking for is nothing to you. 1 Like |
Education / Re: Outcome Of 2024 Utme Results, Who Is To Be Blamed? Parents, Teacher Or Students? by Stevenbright(m): 11:11am On Apr 30 |
Samuelriano1: Blame me please!! On the other hand, this is an indication that the Nigerian society is headed in the wrong direction. For some of us, it is not a surprise because the signs have always been there. If the candidates create time to study hard, who will do yahoo for them, who will do hookup for them, who will slay on social media for them, who will do sports betting for them....... I tell people that our problem in this country have gone beyond just leadership but multifaceted and the family as the basic unit of the society is where the rot is now domiciled. An average family today is a place where: 1. Parents do not question or monitor the activities of their wards. 2. The parents don't know how well their wards are faring academically. 3. The parents are the ones that pay for examination malpractices for their wards. 4. The parents don't care how many hours their wards spend watching television or doing unprofitable things on the phone. 5. The parents are the ones that enroll some of the children into yahoo training adventurs. 6. .............. . . . . . . |
