If care isn't taken, there will be a time in the future when our federal universities will lose relevance.

Admit it or not, private universities have come to stay and are really giving the govt institutions a run for their money.
Nigeria needs to up his game.

You are very right bro, the Vice President (Prof. Yemi Osinbajo) said the same thing during our maiden convocation few months ago

I guess before you connected your phone via hotspot to your PC, you were using mtn bis, mtn music plus or any other cheat with simple server on your PC before. Try to change your port on the browser you are using to browse on your PC.
Done, thanks so much. Sorry my appreciation message is coming late.

you have to register the glo sim to enable bis in the host routing table of a blackberry os 7 device.Simply get any blackberry phone,(not os10)
go into settings 'Options', then 'Advanced Options', then
'Host Routing Table', then click the
menu key and click 'register' 3 times.wait for a message that yourdevice has been registered with the handheld network.Try browsing with the sim on the blackberry phone to confirm it,then remove the sim and insert into the andriod phone previously tweaked to use glo bis.It should be working perfectly after doing this.
Thanks so much for the attention, it's now browsing fine.

Hi,
For those of you that won't to rock Glo BIS. download the files below.
Engineering mod.apk
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0BwmQ0ZMuvq4MSG5xUWw0S3Q5ZUU/view?usp=docslist_api

BBGen.apk
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0BwmQ0ZMuvq4MTWlaejdnRU4wUjQ/view?usp=docslist_api

The first one is mtk engineering mode, you'll use it to change your imei number...

How to use...
Download, install and open it.
Select mtk settings
Swipe Left and select CDs information
Select Radio information
You'll see phone 1 and phone 2; phone 1 is sim 1 while phone 2 is sim 2.

For phone one....

AT space +EGMR=1,7,"15 digit imei "
After inputting, send AT command

Example- AT +EGMR=1,7,"862557381537425"

Then send AT command.

For phone 2/sim 2

Same process but slight modification

AT +EGMR=1,10,"864532864275268"

Then send AT command.

For the imei change to take effect, you'll either turn on airplane mode for about for seconds or reboot your phone.

The second link=BBGEN

BBGEN helps you generate blackberry imei numbers without sweating.

use it to get your random Imei for the 15 digit imei you'll input in the AT command line.

GLO BIS code is Comonth to 777 for monthly sub @1k

capped at 3GB

YOUR APN is blackberry.net

Don't know if I missed any crucial info though

Enjoy....

Pls somebody help, I ve followed this step in-to-to and still my Gionee M3 mini failed to connect despite having about 2.5gig data on my glo sim card which will expire on 8th January. Pls I need a rescue...

You do not need to panic man, I ve forgotten the name of this snake specie but i can confirm to you that it is an ordinary snake that is usually adapted to living in the ceiling of cool houses. For your information i once killed this type in my sitting room about a three years ago, same colour, same size and almost same length as well. I would ve loved to post the picture of my own experience too but unfortunately it is no more accessible cos it in my Samsung galaxy S1 (T959) now with a broken screen.
Politics / A Former NYSC Director-general, Minister And Ambassador Just Departed by sunky644(m): 2:50am On Dec 26, 2014
MAJOR- GENERAL SOLOMON K OMOJOKUN:

Major-General Solomon Kikiowo Omojokun was commissioned into the Nigeria Army on march 2, 1963 as a lieutenant. Born in Ilara- mokin, near Akure, in Ondo state, Major Genearl SK Omojokun is a science graduate, with specialisation in chemistry, physics and mathematics. He has held appointment at the Nigeria Armed Forces Resetllement Centre, Oshodi (january 1970), and at the Nigeria Defence Academy (October 1972) where he was a Princple Lecturer.

After his tenure at the helm of the NYSC in march 1979, Major- General Omojokun was appointed Director of Army Education at Army Headquarters. He was promoted Major- General and his hobby are music, reading and sports.

Then Colonel Solomon Omojokun became the director of the NYSC in August 1975. It was largely during the 4-year tenure of Colonel Omojokun that the NYSC witnessed its first major boon in intake. Amendment to the enabling decree in 1974 and 1975 had brought NCE and HND graduates along with graduates of foreign University into the scheme.. And the number of universities in the country increased from six in 1973 to 13 by 1979.

With the consequent increase in graduate entering the scheme, the NYSC also blossomed into a large parastatal, employing thousands of people in the 19 states of the federation. Colonel Omojokun’s leadership ensured that these rapid developments were fully accommodated, without disrupting the smooth running of what had become a very complex national programme. His tenure certainly falls under what has come to be know as the Goldern years of the NYSC.

He later became the Minister of Labour, Employment and Productivity
Later an Ambassador of Nigeria to Cuba
He also held various sensitive positions in the Nigerian Army and the Nigeria Defense Academy.

Mokins and Nigerians at large will forever be proud of you and your landmark achievements.
REST IN PEACE our gallant soldier, The General of our TIME, and our own PATRIARCH.

This your list is a confirmation that Nigerians don't give a damn about excellent research work and discoveries. I don't know what the selection criteria is that never made it cross your mind that Prof. Andrew Nok deserves to be on the list. If you don't know he won Alexander-Humboldt prize this year 2013 for discovering cure for Trypanosomiasis. Also, let me inform you that virtually all heroes who won this prize have gone ahead to win the Nobel prize as well. Please let's learn to celebrate our Academics. Thanks.

Health / Re: Male Infertility!!! Share Your Experience/success Story. by sunky644(m): 6:37am On Nov 24, 2013
It's like truly we men are egocentric. Can't believe this thread is in the third page and not more than two(2) men owned up to be in this condition. Yet I know the extent of male infertility out there, God will deliver we men.
To the topic, I first knew that I was a victim of this health issue about three years ago and I could trace the root cause to my laptop. For about two consecutive years, I was addicted to playing Pro Evolution Soccer on my laptop for at about 6-8hours daily and this is done with the laptop on my laps. When I got married and after about six months of active sex life with my partner with no positive results then we got to know something was wrong and alas! the problem was on my part (2million sperm cells in 1ml, 70% motility and a bit watery semen). I was placed on Tarrivid (ofloxacin) to take care of the bacteria and Proviron (sperm booster) to boost the count. The result gotten after this was (2.5million cells in 1ml, 80% motility and slightly watery semen). I knew the problem was not solved with this so we resolved to alternative medicine. I got three (first is honey type, second is some herb extracted with water and third is plantain peal extracted with alcohol which was very colloidal or gelatinous) specially prepared medicine from a Medical Doctor who went for a short course in Phytomedicine and Tradomedicine in China or India.
Two months after taking this my wife got pregnant and we now ve a very beautiful girl. Now we are preparing for the second conception and I know it will be a success. Most of the things earlier mentioned here is What we are told to eat following my findings from the work of some researchers. Like taking carrots, walnuts, moringa tea and use leaf to cook vegetable or egusi as well as seed as food seasoning, Trevor drink, honey and onion combo.
Like someone said, let's avoid subjecting the testicles to any form of heat cos the sperm cells are proteins and proteins get easily denatured by heat. Also avoid tight pants and never place ur laptop on ur laps or close to your testicles.
I am a Nutritionist by training and will soon start my PhD degree in same field with special interest in infertility by trying the use of some herbs that could help in boosting sperm count, used as antibacterial especially staph and also pile treatment (as it can be a predisposing factor for male infertility). Will try as much as possible to keep following this thread and I want to urge us to move closer to God and never stop praying (prayer that moves mountains) cos with him all things are possible. God will put smile on the faces of the women here looking up to God for the fruit of the womb (Amen).
