Hi friends. I need your help on something.
I just got my biometrics request today but i was thinking about something earlier. Initially, I submitted only my offer letter and reference letter as proof of employment. Does it make sense to raise a webform now and send in my payslips?

Hi guys I need your help. I've finished filling the form post ITA and before I clicked on continue to upload my documents, I clicked on "preview my score" and to my utmost surprise, the score sheet is blank and eligibility not met.

I've reviewed what I filled severally and ensured no mistakes.
I've logged out and logged in on different browsers and devices and yet same thing. Even no score for my age or language score.

Meanwhile In my home page, it's still showing my score and the breakdown, ITA received. Please help, I'm so confused right now as to what to do next.

Hello house, please how long did it take them to get a letter of non indebtedness ready for you for those who used Ecobank as proof of funds account?
It's been two weeks of going there everyday now and my letter of non indebtedness is still not ready. They said they have to send it to the Anambra branch where I opened the account and then their headquarters for verification before sending it back to Ibadan branch where I requested for it.
Please who else experienced this with Ecobank?

listowell:

Once without her, your CRS score is 478 and your eligibility is equal => 67 out of 100, you're good for ITA.
OK thanks

Ok.
the factors include age, ECA, ielts etc. But minus my aunty, it seems I'm still eligible.

Just wanna be sure I can edit my profile post-ITA and take her out since I wasn't given any points for her

like listowell has said stating you have an aunt is 5 points under eligibility grid. if you take her out its minus 5. you would still be above the 67/100 requirement. Her details on your file is of no use to you or her children in future since they have PR/citizenship . https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/immigrate-canada/express-entry/eligibility/federal-skilled-workers/six-selection-factors-federal-skilled-workers.html
Yes if I take her out, I'm still eligible. Just want to be sure that I can take her out since I'm not receiving points for her.

Factors that contribute your points. This is one you are talking about an aunt and sibling's points.
there are many factors that contributed to my points

Is she your blood aunt from your mother or father's side? You can provide birth certificates to prove relationship

If you stated you have family in Canada, that means it was added to your FSW eligibility points, of which the minimum is 67 points. I'll suggest you should recalculate your eligibility points here and see if not adding your "aunt" still gives you a score above 67. If yes, then you're okay, you can just explain that you thought the aunt was a blood relative. If no, your application is ineligible for FSW and I would advise you to decline the ITA, unless you want them to reject the application and there's a chance to risk misrepresentation.

Please note that eligibility grid (used to qualify to enter the pool) and CRS ranking (used to compete in the pool) are different.

Hope this helps.
Yes my eligibility is still above 67 and my CRS is 478 minus points for "relative in Canada". Do I really need to raise a LOE or should I just change it in personal detail since it doesn't affect my score?

Hello house, I have a small issue. I stated that I have a family in Canada but was not given the 15 points for "relative in Canada" because the family is an aunt.
Now I have an ITA and I need to prove that I have a relative in Canada. Can I simply remove this detail in personal detail when uploading my documents because even though I can get her PR card or citizenship proof, I can't prove beyond reasonable doubt that she's my aunt because we've not lived together for decades now?
Also it won't reduce my CRS score since I wasn't given points for it in the first place.

Please I need your advice.

I received an email from IRCC that reads "we updated your application status" and that my application has changes.

I checked my profile and found no changes. No change in score, no PNP eligibility, nothing. I found nothing.

Please house, what could this email mean?

Hello house, been struggling with something since afternoon.
It's like new people can't enter the pool. Been trying to enter the pool for a while now, once I sign into my account, the only options I see are:
- definitions
- FAQ
- Help
- change your password
- Change your recovery questions
- revoke your GCKey
- Sign out

No option to enter the pool.

Are intending applicants locked out of the pool or is the website under maintenance or should I revoke my GCKey and open another account?

Hi pls I want to apply for d Canadian residency program, my IELTS is 6.5 overall..I don't know how to even use d crs calculator, d link on naira land keeps saying forbidden access
With 6.5, is it okay to apply or should I rewrite d IELTS exam
Here's a link to CRS calculator. https://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/crs-tool.asp
You can check your score there by filling the boxes appropriately. I think 6.5 is a bit low for Express Entry these days, you may try to have at least 7. Wish you all the best.

This thread has really been of help to me. I was able to clear doubts concerning POF here. However, I have a few more questions concerning employment history letter. I've worked as a Farm supervisor from 2014 till date and so I want to claim the 3years+ work experience.

1. The company was not registered before 2015. Should I begin to claim years of work experience from 2015 (the period of registration)?

2. My job was part time from 2015-2018 due to my Msc and PGD degrees. Does this period only count as 2 years?

3. I was paid in cash throughout the period and don't have any payslips to convince IRCC. How do I convince them?

4. What are the necessary documents to prove employment history. I know about employment letter (from employer) and reference letter(Does this also have to be from employer). Which other documents can prove employment history?

No. You get the certificate immediately. Fixing for 6 months just shows that you have control over the money. You can fix tomorrow, get your certificate immediately and submit your PR application nextweek
May your days be long.

Yes!
1. Get the money into your account
2. Get a gift deed from the giver (family member)
3. Fix the money for 6months and obtain the certificate.
4. Get a bank reference letter from your bank
5. Get your bank statement showing the sender of the money

Your POF is ready!!!
Thanks. Sorry but does point 3 mean I have to wait for 6months to obtain a certificate?

When using a gift deed, the only reason why you may need to submit your bank statement (the applicant, not the giver) is because you want to show the VO when the money dropped in your account. Secondly, you want to show that the person who transferred the money to you as displayed in your bank statement, is the same person writing the gift deed. However, the gift deed letter alone is fine! The key is: try to avoid complications, keep yor application simple and straight to the point. They ae attending to thousands of files, so, complicating issues will delay the progress of your PR application.

All the best!!!
Fantastic! This has been my delay. So I can get the money into my account right away and print a bank statement and get a gift deed as well. Thank you for your patience.

Sorry Boss. I try to keep abreast with the thread but I'm yet to see this specific question of mine answered and this has been my main bother. The information I had before tonight is that if I'm using a gift deed, then I must provide;
- the Givers bank statement for 6 months
- my bank statement for 6 months
- gift deed
It's been an issue for me because the gift deed thing is not explained on their official website but information is gotten from intending and successful applicants. Because of this, I've been looking for someone with my surname who has had this kind of money for about 6 months. This is the information I had until now.

I hope someone else corroborates or refutes my claim.
I think all you need present is your statement, from your own account. It will definitely show the transfer from your parents or siblings to you. Search for gift deed, there are so many information on it already
So basically all I need is my bank statement and a gift deed. I thought it's the giver that will do the gift deed.

Are you sure? Has there been any PPR holder that used only his bank statement (less than 6 months) and gift deed.

CIC requires 6 months average balance. But Nigerian Banks wont state this, so people include the 6 months statement let CIC compute themselves. if the money is from gift deed, sale of asset etc no need to 6 months statement
If the money is from gift deed, no need to print 6 month statement. Can you please elaborate on this.
I thought the giver and the receiver must both print out their bank statements for 6 months along with a gift deed.
