PoliticsRe: NBA To Tinubu: Only Courts Can Determine What Is ‘Illegal’ by 00FFT00(m): 1:24pm On Jun 14, 2023
What happened to separation of state powers?. How are we to be called a democracy if Tinubu succeeds in intimidating the other arms of government to become his rubber stamp?.
Tinubu was illegal, is still illegal, and will remain illegal until such a time when the courts decide who rightfully won the election.

Let us hope they will have the courage to tell the truth.

PoliticsRe: Chinese Company Annex 13 Villages In Igbesa Ogun State by 00FFT00(m):
Even those who sold off their lands back in Ogun, Oyo, Osun, Ekiti, Ondo states are now in Lagos yelling “Awa Lagos” and “indigenization”.

They were still in their villages when the people they are now insulting busied themselves purchasing and painstakingly sand-filling the swamps of Amuwo Odofin, Lekki, etc.

No be their fault. Na Igboman and other ethnicities, who refused to listen to good advice to the effect that they will do exactly what they are doing today. Even Ojukwu, the man who saw tomorrow, warned them.

But, the day these charlatans succeed in waking people's consciousness to their shallow-mindedness, and they finally begin to recall their assets and investments from Lagos, there can only be one loser. That loser is Lagos and its neighboring states.

You claim I don't understand the prpceediyet you can not articulate even vaguely what your position on the same proceedings are.

So far of three substantive witnesses have been called by PDP and LP , all have claimed that the BVAS failed to send presidential results but was able to send legislative results, they agreed that they are satisfied the form EC8A and other relevant forms were filled correctly in their presence at the PU and malpractice was "witnessed" the INEC ad-hoc staff who claimed there were discrepancies at the LG collation center when cross examined could not articulate what the exact error were to support his claims.

The TV and all this videos being shown is nonsensical and inconsequential and while admitted as evidence doesn't effect the matter.

The judgment would be made based on facts and constitution not emotional persuasion
You can now see that I was right in my previous assessment of your person. But I will leave you to swim in your conviction or delusion, whichever it is. Only this much though, you're not a lawyer, has no understanding of jurisprudence, vis-à-vis litigation procedures.

You cannot arbitrarily arrogate the required threshold which constitutes proof beyond or short of what settled cases and case laws are. And these, you have no capacity to determine pursuant to your obvious lack of legal training.

This will be a fine place to leave it. Have yourself a great evening.

I get your point, if INEC uploaded the true form EC8As and then announced something different, and the petitioners are in possession of copies of form EC8As , then it will be very easy to prove that what INEC announced is different from the true results. But what if INEC also created fresh form EC8As and re-uploaded them to tally with what they announced. make we dey observe sha. All these their objections means they are up to something
No lawyer worth his call to the bar will go to court without first checking that the evidence supports his prayer. The essence of the information being tendered is to show the discrepancy between what actually happened and what INEC told us happened. These two are clearly at variance, hence the process we are now witnessing.

Neck pressing!
The merits of the case are so nonsensical that all serious people have already concluded that it's just a formality at this stage.
It's only some 90 -120 days between now and when the case would ultimately be dismissed by the Appeals and Supreme Courts.

Playing videos where individuals make statements of intent which they are not legally obligated to perform is pointless, the question should be did the umpire INEC fulfil it's constitutional mandate in conducting the election and collating the results as a process within same election. The answer is yes

All LP are doing now is playing to the gallery and energizing the base a la Donald Trunp MAGA movement. They are just giving you people hope and keeping you engaged with the idea of a reward that is already predetermined to be unattainable.

Good luck to them finding discrepancies in thousands of PUs to substantial general non compliance.
I presume you had the privilege of attending formal education. Summarizing from what you wrote, my brother, your education is a complete waste. Coherence = 0, Logic = 0, understanding = 0. What exactly did you understand from the proceedings so far?.

Student loan my left yansh.

Tinubu is dishonestly trying to split the student body. The same group he knows will lead the charge against him when shit hits the fan. This unrepentant thief will stop at nothing to grift on the endowment of generations to come.

What's to note is that this so-called students loan is skewed towards the privileged as is the usual practice, and as if they already do not have enough already, therefore designed to be untenable to the majority of the people for whom it is allegedly intended.

How many ordinary Nigeria households are related or acquainted to level 12 civil servants, who must also be willing to guarantee a loan for them?

Make Tinubu go and take several seats.

AwkaFinest:
If anywhere in Nigeria was capital it would have been like what Abuja is today.
Onitsha might be more developed than it is today, but it would have lacked the needed Seaport that Lagos and other states have, because Onitsha is in the hinterland.

So there's nothing special about Onitsha.

Port Harcourt
Uyo
Ibadan
Asaba
Warri
Bonny
Kano
Kaduna
Enugu
Calabar
Owerri etc

All these cities have never been capital of Nigeria since 1914, but look at them. They are developing at a faster and better rate than Onitsha the dumpyard.
Onitsha is not in any hinterland. Like Calabar, a concerted connivance between the north and southwest guaranteed that a functional seaport remained a pipe dream for these locations as a spoil of war.

It is no secret that majority of manufactured goods imported into Lagos ports sooner or later heads eastwards. Situating a functional port in Onitsha is a no-brainer, including dredging the Niger. It is the will that was absent.

If Onitsha were Nigeria's federal capital, a status Lagos long enjoyed and now Abuja with all the trappings of our national commonwealth, what do you think these hardworking, entrepreneurial, resilient and ingenious people who call it home would make of it?.

So she has no option left but to have a sugar daddy who cares for them and provide for them to feed

Well if the husband can't stand it, let him find his way out of the relationship

Hunger is not something to play with

Col. Sambo Dasuki and lowly must not be muttered in the same breath. He was the epicenter of the unbridled corruption that marred the Jonathan administration.

But I would not have expected a card-carrying Tinubu apologist, a praise singer to thieves & buccaneers, to aver any less than you did. Indeed, you were modest in your usual show of dishonor. That said, your man is clearly putting his wrong foot forward in this.

I hope he is making these decisions himself. That way, we know we can hold Tinubu responsible for the already and upcoming faux pas in the fullness of time.
HealthRe: I'm Scared I've An Abnormal Growth On My Forehead by 00FFT00(m): 12:54pm On Jun 11, 2023
Mekoyaw:
Good day to everyone on this prestigious forum. The decision to share this story of mine came to spotlight after months of reluctance & indecision to share and as a result of the stage of deterioration regarding the physical abnormality. That I truly regret!!!

First & foremost what I'm about to say here is about the strange body growth that attacked my left foot, above my left eye & most disturbing right now the bony protuberance on my forehead during my service year in Benin City in 2021, though the last in the list was habit induced which started before I was called-up for NYSC but not very noticeable while the others still remains a mystery to me how it started, at that time my colleagues make jest of me that "you played Johnny with Benin girls abi which is absolutely false. But those on my foot & left eye subsided with the help of an kind elder-state dad in my area.

Now the one disturbing right now is the bony protuberance I've on my forehead which is at a degenerating stage, it's actually began with a childhood habit of mine which involves rubbing my thumb knuckle roughly on my other finger which I find pleasurable now this habit metamorphosed recently & upgraded to my forehead but I only did it when I'm sad, not knowing that I'm causing injury to my forehead but then when I noticed some little bump I stopped it even before I went for service, since then it's just growing.

Please I need all the help I can get right now.
This here looks like lipoma to me. But Nairaland is not a qualified diagnostic venue. Visit a physician, preferably, a dermatologist at a teaching hospital for proper diagnosis. These are usually remover employing local anesthesia.

This is exactly the reason INEC officers who directly participated in the election were subpoenaed. They all truthfully testified to the effect that the duo of national assembly results held simultaneously with the presidential election was successfully uploaded to the IREV, but the presidential results stalled for unexplainable reason.

Notice that the said officers served at differing and geographically distant locations across the country. The quest was to demonstrate that the failure to transmit was intentional and systemic, and they succeeded in demonstrating same.

All this rigmaroling is not what I asked for. Youre trying to play smart. Who is talking about accredited data here? We are talking of polling units results as captured by law, you're playing smart of misleading people like you with accredited data . Please quote the portion of the judgement between Oyetola vs Adeleke that says, INEC guideline cannot be used to void an election, very simple word. I think the judgement is on the net and I want you to shame the devil and quote that portion where the supreme court justices say so.
Let me give you this quick correction. Any guideline that is not point of law by INEC cannot be used to void an election, that is sure but any guideline that is captured by law, it's a law on itself. I know you didn't read the content on the link I posted, I will repost it again but I do believe you will take time and seat down and read it with open mind.
https://www.premiumtimesng.com/opinion/589746-inec-electronic-transmission-of-results-electoral-act-and-matters-arising-by-wahab-shittu.html

"The 2022 Electoral Act EXPRESSLY provides for (to quote the Act verbatim) “the votes and results of the election recorded and TRANSMITTED DIRECTLY from polling units” See section 64 (4)-(cool. Thus, the Electoral Act 2022 MAKES IT MANDATORY that, upon conclusion of voting at the polling units and filling/recording and signing of Form EC8A by relevant persons, the election results (i). Must be electronically transmitted (ii). DIRECTLY from the polling units (iii). On election day (iv) before the Polling Unit Officer and his team would take the hardcopy of Form EC8A to the Collation centre? Dual collation procedure! Do you not agree?

9. Are you not aware that Section 64 (6)(a) refers to a hard copy of the results as collated while Section 64 (6)(d) talks about the electronically transmitted version of the results? Even sections 64 (4)&(5) direct that the manual version (original hard copy of the results) must be compared with the results transmitted DIRECTLY FROM THE POLLING UNITS. Hence the Act clearly envisages a DUAL collation mode but Alhaji Mahmoud Yakubu only did the manual own".

The above excerpt was taken from this link below:

https://lawpavilion.com/blog/fifteen-critical-questions-towards-determining-whether-results-e-transmitted-directly-from-polling-units-are-not-a-mandatory-part-of-the-collation-process-under-the-electoral-act-2022/#:~:text=Thus%2C%20the%20Electoral%20Act%202022,the%20polling%20units%20(iii).
