Vstuffs: Thank God I have not addicted to any
And I am not smelling...... If you say so. Just know that most people who have body don't even know it. You hear them brag about how they detest using anything artificial (deodorant/cream) at work and how God has blessed them with a very lovely skin. Not knowing most of their colleagues are not bold enugh to tell them the truth. |

Food › Re: Does ORIJIN Contain More Sugar Than Necessary? by 0b1nna: 8:17pm On Dec 04, 2014 |
FeverRay: When orijin first came out, I loved it then, so medicinal. But now I dare not take it, the last time I tried it, I was sick throughout the night. You're correct, bro'. If taken in excess like other brands (say 5 or 6 bottles) one may likely fall sick instead of just the normal morning after hangover. Happens all the time. |

Career › Re: Age Discrimination In The Nigerian Job Market by 0b1nna: 12:48pm On Dec 04, 2014 |
ao765: Hello New on Nairaland
I would like to know people's views on the issue of serious discrimination against anyone over-45 (of which I am one!) seeking employment in Nigeria. I have applied for numerous jobs, be it long-term, short-term, consultancy and so on. Despite my wealth of experience, skills and expertise, I have not had even an interview! Are employers intimidated by experienced/older professionals? Surely our experience will bring added value to organisations and we can be of help to younger employees. Please we should not be discarded with yet! We are still useful to the employment market!! Anyone feeling similarly frustrated with this type of discrimination and unfairness?? Let's hear your veiws! I think in most cases employers don't like employing old people. Like in the case of paramilitary, they boldy spell it out during their recruitment that you must not be above 30. Younger people are more trainable (or should I say flexible) and they can also put in more time and energy since they are younger. Hope this helps. |
