Jumia and fraud are 5 & 6. I saw a tower fan on their site and placed order, to pay on delivery. After like 3 weeks, their agent called me that he was in front of my office, when i asked him to lemme see and confirm it's d exact fan i saw online, he insisted i pay first, when i got to my seat and opened it, i was shocked what i saw, i placed the fan beside my laptop, u won't believe my laptop screen is taller than the so called tower fan...

D D . Hahahahahahahahahaha. Am almost rolling on the floor. Tower indeed.

Am a vendor on jumia and very realistic and sincere. Dunno why others behave the other way.
# Another problem is that jumia and other site request for 3d images instead of the actual image so people give them the 3d or studio images and supply the real stuff in 1D.

Yesterday was all chaos and confusion as the Christ apostolic church located at Ebutte metta was raging with fire at about 10:00pm. An insider said the inferno started after their generator was reportedly powered which ascertains the fire must have started as a result of a spark or a bridge in the electrical system withing the office area since the said Gen set was intact. The fire was first noticed after it burst through the roof of the office area and immediately calls were put through to the state fire service oyinbo (about 500m away) from the church and they made a late appearance and did nothing till Lagos state management agency (Lasema) fire brigade showed up with two trucks and kick start the fire quenching process, an additional truck came in with a back up water tanker and it took hours to put the fire down.

Observations
1_ the first truck that came in had less water required for such an operation and you wonder if this trucks aren't supposed to be preloaded given that fire fighting is an emergency.

2_ The second truck that came in couldn't get very close because of naked phcn transmission cable dangling across the street at a lower than normal altitude.

3_ onlookers were obstructing the operations of the fire brigade. No barricade was placed to make their operations swift.

Look, GE removed subsidy in 2012 BECAUSE it was no longer sustainable. Nigerians like you opposed him then, he reinstated subsidy, by 2013...when import price of oil rose above the cost price..the subsidy became unsustainable...to the point that marketers were engaging in scams to keep afloat.(That is the scam that Bubu was talking about).

And when Bubu came, because he did not want to lose power...he kept subsidy until landing cost was N132....while we were selling fuel at N87. Meanwhile...oil prices had fallen, our revenues were falling...and we had no choice...that is when Kalichulwu and Emefiele talked sense...and subsidy was removed...prices raised to N145.

Now landing cost is N190. Prices are at N145. For every liter of fuel,we are paying N55 naira as subsidy....And that does not allow NNPC or marketers make a profit.....and that is why we do not have more refineries, our downstream sector is messy, and why we have scarcity, and more scams .

So, either prices rise, subsidy goes, we save trillions of naira that we can use for other things....or we keep subsidy...and keep on wrecking our economy

cold ass niggi and i dont take shiit. we tried it all well i liked the bass but i felt it wasnt strong enuf. maybe cause na shop i dey. got home that night.
it was 2days later i decided to test my faith
unpacked and set up. i took some few wraps. was smoking. started playing it . all i was hearing was gbooom gboom.everywhr dey vibrate.

The point that she is trying to make is that a lot of these drivers on nairaland, well I wouldn't say a lot so that no driver will come for my head.. So these few drivers are distorted and are trying to change the narrative to benefit themselves.. They are so distorted they want the cars to be given to them almost practically free on rental or say maybe be 5k a week on rental ..few of them are very disillusioned to the fact that things don't work that way. If uber is cast they should find another job. Driving on uber or ehailing is not a do or die affair. So meanwhile you can find serious drivers ,not perfect but serious driver outside nairaland forum.. I found one ,family man never complains ,they only times he complains is if the car is given him issue.. Trust me he will call my team and complain at that time .anything else the guy drives and delivers.. So far he is good.. Me personally am ready to work with a driver and come to a compromise.. But most of the them are knuckle heads. They will take your kindness for weakness, and that is why a lot of them are jumping from one partner to another.. They will owe one partner money and leave. And than jump to another one. This is from experience, and because of that they have no form of stability in their life.. If you disagree with me you can fight back with your keyboard

What we hv hear as drivers are computer drivers .if u need good serious drivers, go to Uber hub at Maryland or better still use uber market place to get the best .Most drivers here know nothing but only what they hv read from here. No practical experience

A lot of them. In fact we are very resilient. The environment isn't just right and don't tell me about a few who have made it. You decide to start a small business and later discover you are paying patrol as the CEO and end up with nothing at the end of every month.
