There's nothing you do on earth that you will not have people who are angry with you for nothing. If you live, they are angry. If you die, they're angry. If you work, they're angry. If you stay idle, they are angry. So, what should you do? Go ahead and succeed and let them die in their anger. |

Some people think that when they pull other people down, they move up. Other people, when you have political argument with them, they follow you with the aim of spoiling your businesses on Nairaland. Newsblenda, since you are not saying what I did to you that you're abusing me, let God judge you. |
Newsblenda:Why? Please explain. If I have done anything bad to you, feel free to expose me to everyone here. |
This is a great opportunity for those who understand. Get the free audio and see. |
You start earning in days. But the most beautiful part of this opportunity is the long-term value. |
This is not much but it is better than many opportunities. Also, it is not like anything you may already know. It is an audio-based learn-and-earn experience. To start with, get the first audio file for free by sending 'audio' to the Whatsapp number in my profile. |
BrandBrainBox:Yes, he should contest. And we should vote for him as a reward for his good heart. If we're not rewarding good people, we are encouraging evil people. GEJ could have listened to the Orubebes and start a war with the Buhari camp. Instead he said, "my ambition is not worth the blood of any Nigerian" at the same time Buhari was saying the exact opposite, "both dogs and baboons will be soaked in blood". If Nigerians cannot appreciate such a heart, then, who is surprised that they are now cursed with Fulani herdsmen who kill, rape, maim and kidnap them in their own homes? |
tsdarkside:You are truly a DARK SIDE. Did you read the post? And how's this supposed to be a response to it? Rushing to make an FTC and exposing your shallowness for the world to see. Continue. |
duro4chang:Sorry to ask: Did you finish elementary school? I ask because, no one who went to elementary school and is not mad can give this as a response to this post. I see that hate has damaged you so much that you can't think clearly at all. Sorry dear. |
duro4chang:I hope you completed nursery school because, if you did, you would be saying this as a comment on this post. |

Kaduna1stson:Go and eat your gworo, drink your kunu and fvck your cow. If not for the British attempts to subjugate people by giving power to those they can control, where would the likes of you have been to be able to talk? But, if your brain was in tact, you would have realized that the times have changed and that the tide is turning against you. |
Some of my fellow Igbos are quick to ridicule Yorubas because of the increased Fulani menace in the South-West. But, that's very thoughtless of those Igbos. This is why: Imagine that there was NO NNAMDI KANU in the picture in the midst of this Fulani invasion of the indigenous nations of Nigeria! Wouldn't the lot of Igbos have been far worse than the Yoruba's? Who would have stood up for us? Is it Ọhaneze or our cowardly governors or our traditional rulers? At least, the South-West Governors came up with a timely intervention in Amotekun even if the outfit doesn't seem to be equal to the task. Also, Ooni of Ife visited the President in the interest of his people. But, who would have done same for the Igbos without Kanu? No doubt, Kanu has his faults and I have criticized him many times (like when he allows people to to kneel or bow down before him). But, I have to tell you that Kanu is actually the only Igbo standing right now. In fact, without him, I would have been too ashamed to say anywhere that I am Igbo. So, instead of looking for whom to laugh at because of the Fulani menace, those my stupid brothers should just use the time and the energy to thank God for the grace of Nnamdi Kanu. And, Kanu himself should eschew every form of arrogance because it is God using him and can very easily do without him. As for those who would spend more time and energy hating on Kanu than condemning the FG-backed terrorism which he is against, beware of Divine anger because that guy is doing God's work. Biblical Moses had his fault too and yet, those who hated him never found life easy. Thank you. |
A while ago, I had the following exchange with a Nairalander on a thread reporting how MASSOB was asking GEJ not to contest for the 2023 Presidential Race in order to give room for an Igbo person to fill the position. The Nairalander commented as follows: slawormiir:Then I replied to him as follows: Why is it that when the issue of Biafra is raised, everybody's bars are raised? Even Slawormir becomes sober? And why do you honestly think that Biafra can't be realized? And how will an Igbo as President or VP change anything? To start with, I am Igbo and I am totally against the idea of Igbo Presidency because it can actually be manipulated by Nigerians against the TRUE yearnings of the Igbo Nation. For instance, if a Hope Uzodinma becomes President, that can be used to silence your agitations for ever because, you will not have what to say anymore. YET, YOUR PROBLEMS WILL BE FAR FROM GETTING SOLVED. For example, killer herders will still come and be killing you while also sharing from the little allocation you get from the Federal Government. Another reason why I am against the idea of Igbo Presidency is that it makes Igbos look so selfish and so like weaklings. They look selfish to be asking to be made President just for being Igbo in a country of over 200 different and distinct nations - Many of them have never even produced a Speaker of the House of Reps. Again, the limp agitation (actually begging) to be made President just because you are Igbo makes you look like weaklings because you don't seem ready to actually put up a fight for what you want. It is the reason why I usually say that, if not for Nnamdi Kanu, I would have disowned my Igbo background in the face of the present Fulani invasions. |
I believe that Shiite must be the GENUINE brand of Islam (which is why the Nigerian majority Muslims are against them). If a people who maintain a complicit silence while killer herders are on a rampage are against you, then, you must be the genuine one. Even, looking at the man's face, you will immediately see that he looks quite different positively from the average Nigerian Muslim. |
slawormiir:Why is it that when the issue of Biafra is raised, everybody's bars are raised? Even Slawormir becomes sober? And why do you honestly think that Biafra can't be realized? And how will an Igbo as President or VP change anything? For instance, I know that the North and South-West will never support a sensible Igbo man to become President. So, let's assume Nigerians decide to support an Igbo person to become a President in 2023 and that Igbo person becomes Hope Uzodinma (my sense of justice does not allow me to give him the title of 'Governor'). So, tell me how such a Presidency will help you as an Igbo person (if you are)? Please, let's learn to be looking before we leap as a people. That's how we warned and warned and warned against a Buhari Presidency, giving all the reasons that could convince an average Joe anywhere. But Nigerians 'mumuishly', 'cowishly' ignored all the warnings and they were like water poured on smooth impervious rock. Must we continue to experiment with our destinies? Nawa oh! |
4ckyou:Federal Government? Are you sure? Why would FG have another non-specialized uni in Edo? |
Jamesbally:I'm in Abakaliki and I say, you're lying. Therefore, let what you wish us return to you. |
Isinkwocha:I heaved a sigh of relief as soon as I read your comment. Honestly, I was losing hope on Nigerians if no one could lampoon this coarse stats. Today is the day I lost my respect for the Guardian for publishing this trash. Potbelly please, do me a favor by quoting this comment in your FTC space. Let Nigerians know that their country is not just the World Capital but rather the World arch-Capital of poverty - probably the only country to ever have 50% of its population living below the poverty line AND STILL COUNTING. In spite of that, the government sends killer herdsmen to keep disrupting economic activity without respite. Yet, people who say they are human beings defend such a govt. |
sapphiere:Honestly, I lost hope in Nigerian men and was hoping that women would take over soon. But, if this indecency is how you are taking over, I now say "God forbid". |
My best career advice ever. Thanks for sharing. |

I hope that Zenith Bank's problem doesn't develop from here. This is how the end of many once-strong money deposit banks in the country started. Remember Oceanic and Intercontinental banks of yonder years and you might share my concern. Plus the fact that Zenith happens to belong outside the regional darlings of this govt. L |
