Goodmorning beautiful people.pls i have a question?is it late for someone to apply under NOC 2263 now though d person has gathered all d documents. Ielts,WES,notarisation of documents and all just to send application to CIC considering d fact dat d total no of applications received under d NOC is now 166. Does d person have high chances of making it? Thanks
Re: Canadian Federal Skilled Worker Program-timelines Here by nanonye: 10:23am On Nov 30, 2013
Of what use is it gathering your application to this point and not applying. Just throw in your application and who knows, it may just get in. Lately, that NOC has been increasing by an average of 10 every week so if it continues at this rate, it will fill up in 13 weeks. CIC i understand are working on 2nd week of september applications so it is possible you stand a chance. Send it in now BY COURIER.

nanonye: Hello Nkechi,

Your husband is very much qualified and he should please start packaging his application immediately.

I want to believe you mean he has a degree in Civil Engineering but works as a Petroleum Engineer. The most important thing at this point is that he has experience working as a Petroleum Engineer and if this experience is more than one year old, then he can apply under the Peteoleum Engineering NOC.

Has he gotten his university transcript for his WES evaluation? Has he taken his IELTS?

About the funds, i seriously suggest you guys go with Cash all throigh. I dont suggest using share certificates and landed properties because how does CIC value those items (My personal opinion). Please try to build up your account and get a balance statement.

Remember, although CIC has received less than 10 complete applications for Petroleum Engineering, you need to be fast and send in your application because the overall cap of 5000 also ends the entire process. At the moment, its over 3000.

In summary, he should apply asap.

Thanks so much, we have not really gathered de required doc, so I will start gathering the docs now. Against next year. My prayer is for de next year rule to favour us.

hahaha... respectful in deed

You come here claiming to have been following the forum and ask a rudimentary question which shows youve not
You should have asked a direct question to help your case

Remember also that there will be a new EOI system in 2015 which may be different from this current year

Also there are 3000+ complete applications out of the 5000 cap which will end in April 2014 so there most likely will be no 2014 applications

Its either now or 2015 (EOI)

I dont have any problem with you... going toe to toe with you will only spoil this nice thread

i dont like de way u talked to me period, apologies to me. talking about FSW, MY HUBBY IS A FULL TIME CIVIL ENGINEER AND PRACTICE little of petroleum engineering. so i think he will fit in well in that civil or even mechanical. i wouldn't like to start forging appointment letter on petroleum. although he works with oil servicing company. what do u think. thanks for the info anyway.

You dont like the way i spoke and the first thing that leaps out of your post is the word bast#rd

I have nothing against you just that people should read posts on the forum as most of their concerns will have come up one way or the other rather than just asking default questions

For you NOC 2131 Civil Engineer is full and you cant apply therei; so is NOC 2132 Mechanical

However NOC 2145 which is Pet is still very much open as long as he has ONE YEAR FULL TIME EXPERIENCE As a Petroluem Engineer.

Just one year...

Moreover you need to have ECA and IELTS exams done which is clear if you have read the thread from the start

Yes WES will verify anything and everything to authenticate the genuity of whatever credentials you present. The duration of verification/authentication is dependent on the medium of communication between your school and WES as well as the response time to WES queries.

Good nairalanders, I have been following this forum and I must say that am impressed.

My question is, my husband is a civil engineer but works in an oil servicing firm as a petroleum engineer and mechanical engineer. Is he eligible to apply as a petroleum engineer under FSW. Since mechanical is filled up
Also, his international passport will expire august 2014, any effect on that.

Our proof of fund will be share certificate of his and mine and lands, together with a little cash of 500k. We are family of 3.
Are we eligible to apply for this FSW

Thanks

Nklove

Now u are lying, if you were already in Canada why didn't you say so in your first post. U get called out for being rude and derailing the forum then u are suddenly a US citizen who has been in Canada for 6 years. Please this place is for people who want to learn and its been said over and over again that the first place to go is CIC's website then you can come here to seek clarification.

If you have nothing positive or productive to say, biko keep quiet. U accuse someone of being impolite yet u are the first person to use swear words here. Not all of us are suffering in Nigeria and everyone has various reasons for getting PR. So get off your high horse and post sensible things that people can learn from and stop causng commotion.

secondly they were like i didn't notify them about the change in career/job which i was supposed 2 have done ASAP.... even when am still on probation in my new place of work......

thirdly they called my bank 2 verify if d cash is sitting in my acc..........unfortunately i had only 20k in dat acc.......so they wanted clear explanations as per my source of funds.......

bottom line.....these cats verify every single damn thing.....from ur facebook profile 2 linkedin profile or jobsearch boards, social media, and work experience........so be careful with what u place online about urself.
