Large I don't rate him o forget Porto.my opinion.
He is 100% better than Collins who wasn’t impressive against CAR. I will rather Aina at LB and awaziem at RB if Zaidu isn’t recalled

Next game Zaidu, iwobi, Ndidi has to play and that imbalanced 424 formation has to stop

Abeg large man comot Zaidu and I pray Awaziem move to a better club so that his talent will not waste.....

Check Fikayo,Tammy,Danjuma moving to another clubs and see the results but our own talented Iheanacho stay put in a average Leicester team always as a sub and feeling comfortable cos Nigeria national team is not that competitive.

The only solution in eagles is DM with arrival of Frank Onyeka and probably our attacks with Osimehn,Taiwo,Onuachu,Moffi....I don't rate Samuel Kalu and Simeon Moses seem going out of it....Ejuke and Chuckwueze cool to me.

Truly said the midfield is the real issue and I don't know how Rohr is going to solve this...not really impressed with Aribo recently in eagles color cos is coming should have been a relief with presence of Iwobi.

Goalkepping we have Uzoho who has WC experience but Rohr said Okoye is better meaning we don't have issue in that area.
How can you remove Zaidu when he had such a great season last year at porto and just because he is presently lacking confidence and out of form doesn’t negate his potential. Even his last game for SE vs benin (he was impressive) as for Collins, balogun and ekong if you are shaky against CAR…..
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by 12large1: 8:14am On Oct 12, 2021
Unfortunately, the likes of balogun, Collins, ekong, shehu, are not good enough to take us to the next level. But, the sad part of this ordeal, is that they’re our best available (Club wise) and if our available best is panicking and shaky against a small team like CAR, I don’t know what will happen against Senegal and algeria. Sunday game was the only televised super eagles game that I have missed in a while and I didn’t regret it simply because of lack of interest. I don’t know if it’s lack of balanced team or incompetent coach or an incompetent FA.
Defense = Below average only Zaidu and awaziem has potential to become world class based on performances thus far

Midfield = Imbalanced

Attack = Above average to world class

Coach has to get the right selection, right formation, believe and attitude or else idk

I have watched Osimhen carefully over the past months and I think personally he's not too far off from becoming an elite striker. Why do I say that? His positioning has gotten better. I prefer a forward who is always in the right place to get a shot at goal even if he misses than a John Cena type who often needs the perfect pass to dispatch.

Victor's major issues now are his wayward shots and a bit of lack of calmness. Most of the chances he has missed so far in these qualifiers is because he doesn't realize that he has more time on the ball than he actually thinks. This is where Iheanacho excels.
He works so hard for the team but he has to stop this habit of missing Sitters because at the highest level, it could be the difference from winning and ANC or qualifying for World Cup quarter final.

The problem has to do with decision making. The midfield and defenders should not pass to a player tightly marked. Most times the ball came to Simon, they were two to three players close to him. At that instance, switching play is better than passing to him.

Also, Simon needs to watch. When in tight positions, quick decision making to return the ball is important. Holding the ball only should be done when in space, which gives you more time to make decisions.

Same with the other players. Keep watching for free spots when not with ball to promote quick decision making. When the ball gets to players in space, that is when you can calculate how to get the ball to offensive players in threatening positions.
Simon doesn’t even deserve to be in eagles squad at all at all.

Jamilu Collins have been so obvious that he offers little to nothing going forward, when we play smaller sides, he should be bossing the game like a winger..he is so limited, too be honest I would rather have an out of form sanusi manning that left back. At least you know what you are getting, he is more adventurous, decisive with his crosses and more energetic. Collins looks so limited as a player it begs you to ask is this all we could offer. I would rather have a non-left footed player like Aina play the left side, he is more composed and better even he also has his limitations.
If you cannot excel against a small team like CAR, then I. Don’t know for you

Today's scoreline will be 0-5! I mean, CAR 0-5 NGR.

Even though Rhor isn't doing well or, perhaps, as expected; we can't blame it all on him.

Our crop of players seems to perform pretty well in GOOD turfs. We struggle, whether home or aways, when the turf is as good as nothing.

Even with Ndidi, Iwobi, and Chukwueze all in the squad, we couldn't have done any better.

The team's cohesion and dynamism work magically when these guys are balling on a good pitch.

Bring France to play the Super Eagles on that very pitch, even with their starts, they'll still struggle to play good football.

So, guys, let's not blame Rhor too much; we all know he's tactical inept, but still can get the job done on a good turf that allows free flow of football.

Mark my words, today's scoreline is going to be massive! 0-5 and a cleansheet.

Personally, I would even prefer Oliseh back. When he was coach then, the environment and hostility from NFF was too much. That was the reason for all the controversy we had with him. One thing I am confident about Oliseh is that he will not sit down and watch Nigeria lose to CAR in Lagos just like that without screaming down the players at the touchline. He is someone that can fight and die for his country. I will always prefer a coach with personal attachments to the club or country over coaches who just collect salaries and are satisfied with mediocre resuts as long as they get to keep their jobs and salaries.
Anyone that wish oliseh for SE deserves to be castrated and flogged mercilessly. A coach that beefed with his best players mikel obi and enyeama just few days to his job

Why some folks are blaming Iheanacho for the loss ffs! Iheanacho is a fine, deadly and lethal Finisher. In fact I prefer him as our No. 9 to Osimhen.

To be honest, Pitch did 80% damage on the Team cohesion and fluidity. Rory however did the rest damage coz he couldn't change the tactics to get the needed points.

Eagles will demolish CAR in Cameroon. We should be expecting at least nothing less down 3 Goals to Nil.

The Loss wasn't unusual, this is football thus anything can happen. We've seen Barcelona at their peak lost to a lesser Team as Alaves.

We're still comfortably topping the Table and definitely gonna make it to next round. However, I suggest we move back to GAIS except Abuja Stadium is ready.
At this point, there are no guarantees and anything can happen

Well kelechi did not play CM, he played AM/SS (Depending on the colour of eyeglass wey u take look am).
Is Muller of bayern a 10?
Is Muller an AM or SS?
Is muller the creative hub of the team?
He played as an attacking midfielder (not his position) not a ss. The problem with Nigerians is that whenever they find a creative striker, their first instinct is to utilize him in midfield even though he is not a midfielder. The reason why I want iheanacho to always play is simply because of his “clinical finishing abilities” 3412 352 but never a 424

Best finisher this, best finisher that how many did he finish yesterday? What justifies playing a 3-5-2 (a) an ultra defensive formation (b) playing natural wingers like Ejuke as wingbacks thereby removing the natural flair which is a trademark of the SE team (c) playing players like Aribo in a double pivot just to accommodate one person

Haba!
352 is the most balanced formation that we can use simply because we have lots of wingers and strikers. It’s a 352 when attacking, and 532 when defending very underrated formation

If he doesn't have the stamina to be a midfielder where did he get the stamina to be a forward? The term support striker is just an excuse for him not to do the primary function of a striker (pressing, holdup play and leading the line) and the job of a midfielder (defensive contribution and ball holding) that's why there are very few support strikers nowadays
There has always been an 8 in the history of football. Dennis berghamp of arsenal is an epitome of that position

Kelechi functions better behind a 9 and can play R2 well.
All 10's are not the same
A 10 is a central midfielder that controls and dictate a game. Examples of 10 are zidane, okocha, Xavi, rui costa. Iheanacho isn’t one at all
An 8 is a support striker or shadow striker that plays literally behind the 9. Examples of 8 are dennis berghamp, Kanu, that’s where iheanacho can play. He can also play as a 9, simply because of his clinical finishing abilities

With all the wingers and strikers available at SE disposal, 352 will be our most balanced formation. But, our wingbacks must perform and understand their role

If I'm a coach Iheanacho will continue to sit on my bench till he can be able to able to fit into the team without destabilizing the system
You will drop your best finisher to accommodate who? Keep your opinion to yourself. The coach can utilize a 352 formation and get a balanced formation using the both of them

I will not argue that... But what will his recall really solve? He was part of the team under Rohr a few years back...What did we achieve?

See, it isn't always the type of players in a team that makes the team good...most times,it is the quality of the coach..

I'm a Liverpool fan you see, and I'm sure I don't have to explain to you how much our team suffered after Benitez left....Then we got Klopp...and with an average squad he inherited from Rodgers,he took us to two cup finals in his first season (which he sadly lost). From there, he built the team slowly to become one of the best in Europe... It wasn't the quality of the players but the coach that made the team so good...

Rohr from all indication has proven that he isn't tactically sound..the evidence are glaring...it doesn't matter which player he call or recalls now....if he doesn't know how well to utilise them, it's a waste of time...
He has done well for us, but he has reached his limit... Like somebody here said some days back, Rohr is like Moses..he has taken us close to the promise Land, but can't lead us inside...
With Victor Moses we won an ANC on his first try and totally annihilated Algeria and cameroun on the way to 2018 World Cup. Please, respect that man
