No one questions Aubameyang's legacies. The only point is RIGHT NOW.
Auba has been great and his world class quality remains but we are in Osimhen's world now.

Osimhen is the best Striker on the continent and it's not even a close call now.

It seems it has also gone under the radar that he is Africa's most valuable Striker on the market today and his value is bound to keep going up before the end of the season.

Only 9 CFs in world football are more valued than Osimhen today according to Transfermrkt. That should tell us something and more.

Screenshots below:

1. Osimhen ranking #1 most valuable among African CFs.

2. Osimhen ranking #10 most valuable among all CFs in world football today.
Osimehn vs aubemeyang are we going for current form or overall? On current form it's osimehn but overall in the past few years, it's Aubameyang

He deserves everything abeg

I trust Napoli ,and yes he will shatter the 100 million plus euros soon

Naaa daka can’t or el nesry self
I love osimehn but the disrespect that iheanacho gets on here is just absurd. The sort of performances that kelechi depicted last season in a short period was World class but people don't seem to give him enough credit.

I wanted to say this about simmy nwankwo since because its annoying

Why did simmy ended up at Salernitana? it looks like a waste of hard work to me, i think simmy might also be using an ojuelegba agent, for crying out loud this dude scored 20 seria A goals while playing for a very poor team but is this the best he could get?

Simmy was crotone best player by far but a certain junior messias of crotone is playing for AC millan and dude is even older than simmy ,because some of you are thinking its because of his age that made him not to get a better offer.

Simmy should at least be playing for teams like atlanta, roma, lazio

The thing pain me sha because i really like the guy .
I feel like coaches and agents weren’t that impressive with his overall contribution. In addition to that, Nigeria has a bad reputation with age issues so they probably didn’t want to risk him. Also, a Nigerian player has to be twice as good as his foreign counterparts to play for a big team

Business and Negotiation is a skill that I learned from Donald Trump. No. We should never beg anyone. Just make them an offer they cannot refuse.

Nff and Rohr say back expecting him to think it through when Algeria were busy doing all the dirty job. I reckon many if you laughed initially and mockef Algeria that theyll never get him. Well, here we go. The ones who wanted it the most, wit the best offer, got him.

Rohr is the fault here. I bet if dude was in Germany he would have done more to get him. But he allowed him slip away because we failed to paint am offer to him and make him see reasons to play for us. And yes, begging too is allowed. Begging not in a beggars way, but with a carrot offer that promises a win-win for both parties.

Algeria did that perfectly.
Thunder faya you. Rohr is at fault because a French and English reject wants to represent another country. See the sort of nonsense that I’m reading. My friend, your honor is more important than your feelings

He is a player showing potentials. This is his first season in the top flight, and only used as a sub over the weekend.
I am still yet to watch Ejuke as an AM.
I haven’t seen ejuke as an AM neither. I am just referring to pound vs pound comparison

Tufiakwa, I feel insulted to be in the midst of so much low self esteem Nigerians. They’re crying because a French and English reject playing at a small club denied their request. The same footballing country with a population of 200 million and has produced okocha, Kanu, Yekini and most recently iheanacho, osimehn, Ndidi and chukwueze. Tufiakwa unu

There seem to be lots of low self esteem individuals on here because I can't seem to fathom the worry on this olise case. In a country that recently produced world class talents like ndidi, osimehn, chukwueze and iheanacho. And have the likes of ejuke, moffi, awoniyi and Sadiq on the sideline - our goal is to focus on grassroots level and keep applying pressure. We have lots of osimehn waiting to explode. Nigeria should never ever beg anyone to play for us because we're a football country and aggregating our population, talents are bountiful. Personally, I will pick Chidera ejuke over Olise but that's just my opinion

His agent swayed him to play for Algeria. Then again, playing alongside Mahrez, Atal, Benhrama, Bennacer etc is more tempting than playing for us.
Dreadlocks + Blackman + Micheal akpovie olise (full blooded Nigerian name) its weird with those combinations and playing for Algeria. But we have iheanacho, osimehn and ndidi

Iwobi has 9 goals very impressive, but if you play Aribo as a free 10 against Sierra Leone, Seychelles, Liberia and Benin he will get that amount and more , his goal against Brazil is an indicator of how eager he is to get into the box
What about England, Argentina, Zambia? Iwobi is better as a support striker or middle, while Aribo is better as a box to box midfielder

Aribo is yet to become the player that Iwobi is, and by a mile.

I am yet to pick out what Aribo brings to our midfield. What exactly?
They don’t realize that Iwobi has 9 goals already for super eagles and has been fairly decent when played as a support striker or in the middle
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by 12large1: 3:50pm On Oct 03, 2021
In this game particularly, Iheanacho had a non existent second half and it was either him or Vardy that had to make way

Ndidi, Aribo and Onyeka is our best midfield enough of the Iwobi nonsense, I have been saying it that midfield has everything, balance, ball control and creativity and it allows Aribo to arrive late into the ball and serve as a shadow striker without having to worry about defensive responsibilities, if we had a midfield of Ndidi, Onyeka and Aribo the Algerians won't have seen it easy to dominate us
Iwobi gas 9 goals for super eagles please don't disrespect big alex. Also, the iwobi of Nigeria is totally different from the iwobi of EPL. Just play him as an 8 or 10 and you get the best out of him

Since the end of the Mikel/Onazi era in the midfield, Rohr has made some baffling choices in that area.
He has refused to bring in more options preferring to stick to just a few players despite pretty good alternatives and a lack of balance in that department.
With Etebo reportedly set to miss the AFCON I am sure Poorman's Onigbinde
will stun Nigerians with his AFCON list.
If he doesn’t reach the finals or win the ANC, he has to go. Since the coach wants to compromise sentiments with selection then his selections better make a statement

Nwakali and Amoo can play that role , especially when we are short of options in that area. And, please don't come with the usual stale argument you guys pull when you have not point to make, because Nwakali and Amoo are currently playing for their respective clubs. If you can invite inactive players and players in lowly rated leagues then you have no reason to ignore Nwakali and Amoo.
You guys should stop mistaken Creative forwards i.e kanu as a midfielder. Amoo is not a number 10 and as for nwakali, I feel like his league is an impediment on his invitation. If he starts playing consistently at La liga, he would be invited. (Personally I will invite him now)
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by 12large1: 9:15pm On Oct 01, 2021
To summarize how biased Rohr is, Musa and nwakaeme plays at the same league, go and check their stats at the same league and ask yourself who deserves a senior team invitation? Some people will say, Musa scored 2 goals at the World Cup and my response is, should we invite players solely based on what they did in 1 game. Anyway, let Rohr not reach ANC final or win ANC, he has to go.

Do we blame Rohr for not inviting attacking midfielders or blame our system for not producing attacking midfielders?? If you were Rohr, which attacking midfielder playing now consistently would you invite? Our next generation coaches need to create attacking midfilders

Finidi yes just by a little. But, that’s it. Remember finidi had only few world class seasons and was a flop at england. A place where moses got an epl title and was an integral part

His biased squad will obviously be good enough to be defeating small teams in Africa like Liberia, CAR, benin etc but when they jam the best, (Algeria, Senegal, Cameroun) they cannot win

We have such a talented overall squad to be wasted by a biased coach. 9 defenders for CAR. All I way say, is that if coach cannot reach the ANC final or win it, he has to go

Calvin Bassey gets a call up ahead of sanusi. I guess he is the new player that owngoal was referring to for a new invite. I don’t know if he is even better than sanusi. Another imbalanced team again by Rohr and at this point, if he doesn’t reach the finals or win the next ANC, he might has to go. Super eagles shouldn’t be a rehabilitation ground for anyone

Search for super eagles 10 over ke?
Ejaria is a good addition but our midfield problem is far from being over with his inlusion.
The other two guys would have provided more solution to our midfield problems.
Ejaria is extremely creative and a good assist creator. He isn’t a jj okocha, but with him, we cannot claim to be lacking a decent playmaker anymore
