Regardless of what happens tonight, Gatusso should be sacked. I can state for a fact that even Gernot Rohr is better tactically than Gatusso. This Napoli team is clearly lacking a pattern of play... No tactics, No nothing!
The greatest DELUSION IS Nigerians thinking that sacking gattuso will be good for osimehn. Don't be surprised if gattuso leaves and osimehn becomes a bench player at Napoli. Osimehn is a Gattuso signing (if you know what I mean)

In the last 20 years of watching Nigeria football, this current season is the best that we have ever witnessed from our strikers 100 plus goals by 5 strikers in 1 season and they're all young. We just need 2 quality Defenders and attacking midfielders

We lack midfielders and you don’t want iwobi to be called

How many times will I tell you that ejuke and iwobi aren’t playing the same position ? Ejuke is not a midfielder and iwobi is

You really need to calm down with your rude tone
Chairman, in our last game, iwobi played as a Lw. Sometimes, he plays as a SS, RW, Rwb and ejuke can play all those positions. Anyway, I don't have a problem with anyone all I am saying is that "inform players" should always take precedence over out of form players. One shouldn't have a horrible season and still be invited at the expense of the ones that had a better season.

Now that Eze is out injured till next year, i hope Olise makes up his mind early. Because once Eze is back from injury, he'll probably lose form and England won't look hs way. And then he'll start looking to Nigeria, and maybe e go don late by then because we fit don get many other options.

Na my expectations be that.
What sort of Shamelessness is this? The man has said that he isn't interested in us and you guys will keep advocating for him when there are the likes of Nwakali, Ejuke (better dribbler than Eze) available at our disposal. enough is enough! these inferiority complex has to End

The difference between coaches like Rodgers and pep is that one will possibly disrupt his team chances of winning in order not to offend or be loyal to a player vs Playing inform players and not minding dropping an out of form player just to WIN. The sad part of it is that Rohr has Rodgers tendencies written on him. Loyalty to out of form players. I just hope that it doesn't cost us. Imagine dropping one of the best Dribbles Nigeria have "Ejuke" for out of Form players like Ahmed musa, iwobi

Rodgers no try for this one

Even if he must play Maddison by all means why not bench Pérez ?
The guy wants kelechi to lose form so he can justify benching him or changing his formation. 1 bad game and you drop your top scorer of this season on the bench

I'm not saying that vardy should be dropped but worse come to worse, on form now, Kelechi is better than vardy. For goodness sake, he is their top scorer. I blame kelechi for Joking, smiling and playing too much. How I wish he had a little bit of osimehn attitude

The end of a purple patch.
He Gives the ball away too much. He should go find a modest team where he can play regularly and improve. Leicester not playing him regularly, massively stagnated his growth.
Stfu stupid son of a biased bitch. Vardy that has been out of form since March nko? If vardy situation was like iheanacho own, will Rodgers bench him after 1 bad game? Nigerians will turn on their own without even analyzing the case meticulously

Unproven player like Maduka Okoye will be accepted because he is a GK and we where struggling on that department before

I don’t think Aribo is an unproven player before he was capped
Right now we're also struggling in the attacking midfield department. Having 13 forwards and not enough Solid midfielders can be the difference between 4th and 1st place

Walai
One mind is telling me that he should be questioned regarding the calling of an unknown player but another mind is telling me that based on his past antecedents on inviting unproven players like Maduka okoye, Joe Aribo and their success, let's give this guy a chance before we can pounce on Rohr. One thing for sure, Rohr has been a good scout and man manager for the super eagles
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by 12large1: 9:14am On May 18, 2021
If Rohr can take a risk for Manuka okoye by inviting a talented division 3 player and hoping he grows and also become a steady player on our team due to lack of quality options in the goal keeper department then why can't he also take the same risk on Nwakali knowing well that we're lacking quality players in that CAM position? It's either because nwakali isn't a dual national, Rohr doesn't believe nwakali is talented enough or there isn't any financial benefit for Rohr. One thing for certain, the Talent that nwakali dispose prior to making Nigeria Debut supercede what okoye showed prior to making Nigeria debut

Tapin is not an insult

Cr7 is a professional tapin merchant ,thou he do scores other good goals

Cr7 is still one of the greatest despite being a tapin merchant
It is bro people use the word "tap in" to demean or belittle your goal that's why they call Ronaldo, Tapino or penaldo trying to belittle his goals. Tap ins requires positional awareness, precision and decisiveness to do it accurately

If you want to score tap ins and PKs Simy is your guy.
If you need someone to head the ball into the net Onuachu is it.
If you need someone to run defenses ragged and score inside the 18 Osimhen is the one.
If you need someone to score from clinical counter attacks Moffi is your guy.
If you need someone to score from outside the 18 Iheanacho will do
If you need someone to score with any body part and goal mouth scrambles Sadiq is the one.
I dislike when people trivalize others goal by calling I "tap in" if it was so easy to tap in, why isn't every striker tapping in? But good analogy tho and it's true

Defensive striker is a term use to idolate and celebrate a player performance for doing all the right thing except scoring. I am just informing yall to cut that bullshiiit off because our guy was signed to put the ball in the back of the net. At worse, we will accept assist

As much as people criticize Napoli playing style, osimehn has to learn how to position himself properly in order to get the right passes. He was doing it correctly in the last few games that's why he was scoring but then again players aren't expected to score every game except they're Cristiano. But, I hope people don't think it's acceptable to be celebrating "defensive strikers" i.e he delivered a nice pass, he was hustling etc because for 90 mil, you're signed to SCORE IDGAF about the other shiit

The thing is baffling, to think that Rohr has drawn up to eight consecutive lists with a scarcity of midfielders shows there's something fundamentally wrong with him
It's almost as if they have bribed journalists because no one is asking questions. People already forgot that Rohr Lied to us about Musa in the last game. He said that Musa was invited only for motivation purpose and wouldn't play no part in games vs Lesotho/Benin yet, Musa played few minutes vs Lesotho. The man has done a relatively good Job considering how bad we were when he inherited us but if he looks like he can't go further. My only fear is that if we terminate Rohr, we don't have the finances to hire a world class coach and might just return back to local Coaches which might might the team Regress. From frying pan to Fire. I heard Rohr salary is owed in arrears for 6 months. Please, tell me any world class coach that can endure such Nonsense

I don't know why our coaches keep selecting an imbalance squad. How do one select 13 forwards/wingers and only 4 Midfielders when games are controlled and won In midfield. Where are the technical advisors, assistant coaches and scouts input in Rohr imbalanced squad? Although, I think the squad is Good enough to defeat cameroun, my doubt stems when we're selected to play against a much tougher opposition in Africa i.e (Algeria, Senegal) or worldwide (Brazil, Argentina). Coaches, please when selecting a 23 man squad, make sure it is a balanced Squad like 3,7,7, 6 or 3,7,6,7 not 8 4 8. Personally, it would had been better If our coach had selected more Midfielders like Nwakali, Onyeka and help them grow than bombarding the team with forwards. Do Rohr plan to utilize a 424 formation? Please, no one should be deceived if we defeat cameroun with this inbalanced Squad and journalists must ask Rohr Valuable Questions regarding selecting imbalanced squad and clubless players.

Nigeria should respect it's legend but super eagles isn't a place to rehabilitate Out of Form players

Well, you really cannot blame some of them. But you do have a point about the lads in question for our midfield reinforcement being mostly from second tiers (La liga Smartbank and the Championship) thus all should be treated equally as having a chance of an invite as long as they are doing well.

Truth is K.Nwakali has always been castigated here for a long time and rightly so too for a while because he was really struggling to get it going in his career but I always personally believed in his talents and never stopped being positive about his chances of a comeback just almost same way I stood ground on Iheanacho and even on Osimhen during his Wolfsburg injury struggles.

So now that Nwakali is looking good again and getting back to his best again, I guess some folks don't wanna be too quick to jump on the "invite Nwakali" train. While some other folks are perhaps not keen on having him at all because they always castigated him and labelled him a lad who will never make it again.

But to be honest, putting aside all that, we need that lad. He knows this midfield game and has improved so much. A player like him will give us dealt good depth and quality in the middle going forward.

I have taken my time in not being too pushy about an Nwakali invite because I was more keen on seeing him perform consistently in La Liga Smartbank and really get back to his best but now 15-games-and-a-club-POTM-award-later, I think we better speed up his invite as we cannot wait to reinforce a department we desperately need legs in. Not just any legs, quality legs. And Nwakali is quality.
My own is that fine if people don't want to salivate over nwakali, then they shouldn't advocate for Olise and ejaria because all 3 of them are in the lower division of the Famous "Big 3 leagues" I don't know why our people are obsessed with anything foreign
