We really need division in this country because Nigerians lack of unity has totally destabilized our mind. Imagine if the case was reversed, do you think usa will extradite a white American to Nigeria if he was indicted in any crime. I am an Igbo man but under no Condition should Nigeria extradite him to USA. Nigerians stop worshipping these American law enforcement or white pipo dem nor even like una |

Nigerians either needs division or doesn't have sense. If Efcc indict a white American citizen on the words of a white criminal even with the most Vivid evidence, The Americans wouldn't condemn their own, extract that individual. But, small accusations against a Nigerian by the Americans and his people has already made him Guilty. This country needs to understand diplomatic pride/Honor. Even if kyari is guilty, as a Nigerian citizen, I'm not condemning him |

Danielnino00: Rohr isn't an humble coach.. He just doesn't know how to instill confidence in his players...You may call Mike Brown a big talker, but the man knows his onions... Like I said, our team is largely inexperienced....a few of them just finished their rookie season in the NBA...Give them time.... He still lost 2 games in a row baba |

Danielnino00: At least, Mike Brown didn't go about telling the media that his boys are too young and not capable of performing... If you watched the two games they played, you would know that they played well..... without fear.... They are probably the most inexperienced team in the tournament... Exactly my point. because, they still lost 2 games in a row even Rohr didn't lose 2 games in a row at the world cup. At the end of the day, whether a coach chooses to use the humble or arrogant route, it's only his results that matters |

So after all the gra gra that mike brown has been making prior to the olympics, “we’re here to win” we have still lost 2 games in a row. It just shows that sometimes whether a coach uses the boastful or humble route, their results on the pitch is all that matters. |

You know these English new boys are good when Nigeria is fighting tooth and nail for their rejects like ejaria, ademola, olise, eze. The same England didn’t produce enormous technically gifted players in the Gérard era. We can learn as a federation to invest in grassroots and legitimate youth so that in few years, SE can develop their own superstars. |

I like chukwueze but let's respect ourselves. Chuks only has 1 Uefa cup. Personally, in reference to super eagles RW only Odegbami and finidi has put in better performance than moses |

Scholes would have reduced the tempo the Italians played. Lampard would have switched on his Superman Mode to equal or outdo the energy. Gerrard would have given the lazy pair of Kalvin and Rice some tackling jobs to do. My friend shut up your dumb mouth. Oldboss: The home-based players of the Super Eagles of Nigeria have another chance to show why they deserve more opportunities in the senior national team when they play friendly matches against Canada, Ghana and Cameroon. The team recently lost 4-0 to Mexico in an international friendly game played at the Los Angeles Coliseum in California, United States. Speaking after the game watched by over 50,000 fans, Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) President, Amaju Pinnick, revealed that the federation was on the verge of finalising arrangements for the friendly games, which would hold before the 2022 World Cup qualifiers begin later this year. He added that the matches would hold in the 73,000 capacity M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore, United States. NFF President Amaju Pinnick (centre) with home-based Super Eagles at training camps “This is the launchpad we are providing for you to showcase your talents,” Pinnick said while addressing the players. “This team is our pride, and we will keep you and monitor you because you are the next big thing in Nigerian football.” “In October, we will be flying the team to Baltimore for friendly games against Ghana possibly, Cameroun and Canada, maybe. We will sort that out in the coming weeks. We will tidy up all the documentation. You will be playing at the 73,000 capacity M&T Bank Stadium.” In the game against Mexico, Nigeria presented a team made up of players from the Nigerian Professional Football League (NPFL) with Ibrahim Sunusi, who plays for Montreal FC the only foreign-based star in the squad. The team’s inexperience showed as they fell to the Mexicans with goals from Hector Herrera, Rogelio Funes Mori and Jonathan dos Santos. Read more: Home-Based Super Eagles Suffer Heavy Defeat Against Mexico Speaking on the game, Super Eagles Head Coach, Gernot Rohr, praised the team for ‘a good outing.’ Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr “These are young players playing in front of over 50,000 fans in a foreign land. It was not easy but they showed they can play this game,” Rohr said. “We are very happy that fans are returning to stadiums after a long time playing in empty stadiums.” “Mexico is number 11 in the world and our young team consist of the best players in the professional league at home. They have learnt a lot from this game. I saw some interesting players who could be useful in our next World Cup qualifiers. Some of these players still have to work to improve physically.” Rohr explained that the game was part of Nigeria’s preparations for the World Cup qualifiers, which will start with a home team against Liberia on September 3. “A few days later, we hope to play against Cape Verde before meeting Central African Republics,” Rohr added. ” It is a long way to the World Cup, but this match has shown that some of the local players can play in the World Cup qualifiers.” “The match was a good lesson for my players because Mexico are one of the favourites for the Gold Cup.” Homebase vs Ghana senior team? This amaju guy has to be stopped |

humility33: Rohr is not a top class coach, he is better qs a scout
What has been helping him, is that he is better sincere and his players selection is more of merit
I doubt if an indigenous coach like amuneke will not perfom wonders if he can get his selection right like rohr
Playing against mexico with this carpenters, was suicidal, infact we need thank the goal keeper if it was ezenwa i am sure it would have been 7
Rohr opened up earlier u dont play mexico with this bunch of average players if it is chan preparation why didnt them play africa teams for friendly or play some club sides in africa why the jamboree travel to the US. We just wasted an opportunity to watch the teamA players we have always played mexico for friendly most times it end up in draw. The last game we lost 1 nil and keshi used it to discover some good players for the team that was the match [b] LEON BALOGUN [b/] first played for Nigeria and Imoh Ezekiel. My friend shut your stupid mouth. A coach inherit a team that failed to qualify for back to back Anc, Qualifies and reaches 3rd on his 1st try while improving his team ranking by 20 position in that period and selecting genuine young players for the future. Instead of appreciating him, they're denigrating him. You want him to be arrogant and boastful by promising things he cannot guarantee. Nigerians must learn humility by force. This 4 - 0 was an eye opener and the real sprite opener will be when we terminate Rohr and hire a local coach. Na there our eyes go officially Clear. Rohr isn't having a defeatist attitude he is just being humble and playing mind games. For example, the insult that our sport minister publicly disrespected Rohr will never be tolerated by a Local Coach let alone a renowned foreign coach and the fact that Rohr hasn't responded even to a team that's owing him 7 months salaries in arrears speaks volume of Rohr character |

Philosopher1979: With time, he will be better. Even theoretically, he is with his wide range of abilities. At least he is more creative as a forward. He once had 17 assists in a single season in Serbia, The problem is his maturity was late and he has not done it in a top 5 league. Personally i rate players on tactics and technique andnot just league or stats alone You forgot that osimehn is equally a young man and almost his 3rd season proffesionally. The dude scored (10 seria a goals on his debut season) and can only appreciate from hence forward |

Philosopher1979: Sadiq Umar will emerge as the best Nigerian striker of his generation. Time will prove me right. He is the most technically sound player we have. His technical and tactical abilities are very impressive. He will outshine anyone foreign borns or not even Tammy Abraham. He is skillful, strong, can play as a lone striker, good in the air, creative, technical, he can play in a Guardiola team. As I said time will prove me right. Maybe Joshua Zirkzee might defeat him but he is going to be a mega star. Strikers like him are rare in football He isn't better than osimehn fam. (All due respect) |

The problem is that Nigerians totally disregard maladministration, incompetence from NFF and expect coaches to perform despite the aforementioned. For examples, Rohr and players salaries are owed in arrears yet we expect him to have the motivation, desire and belief in his team or work. We must first organize ourselves (Administration wise) Coaching at grassroots level, pay players salaries on time, Organize our league to a decent level. Then, fans can be mandating and expecting a world class performance from super eagles. Anything contrary, we should accept whatever we get. You fail to pay your coach for 6 months and you expect him to even be motivated to work |
