In 45 minutes, chidera has impressed me more than Simon Moses and Ahmed musa last 5 games for Nigeria, but the coach might drop him next game for musa and Simon Moses. This is exactly what we mean when we say that our coach should stop compromising “best players” with “familiarity”. Our best players needs to be selected. The same nonsense Is happening at right back as ebuehi is our best right back

Rohr is not fit to b super eagles should we draw that match
Have checked the profile of cape verde players 90%of them can't or rather dont have profiles that match the current super eagles in camp

Should Cape verde have players in Italian Seria A(Ebuehi, oshimen,Kingsley) or Olympiaqos, Turkey or France(Kalu) etc they would hav undisputed start on monday
You must be very MAD! do you think this is 1980? You're playing an away game in an artificial turf with almost half of your first 11 unavailable and saying that a draw will be a bad result?? Personally, I believe that we should aspire and aim to win, but a draw is still acceptable considering the circumstances

You don't think that's tactical?
I don't think it's tactical because the same Aina is more impressive for SE at Left back and below average at right back for SE (weird) our best rb between Aina, shehu, awaziem and ebuehi is Ebuehi even awaziem delivers good crosses self

Aina has been okay for the eagles and not below average

Stop saying what you dont know

You guys will watch a full 90 minutes game where there is no fault from aina position but you will ignore others fault and critisize him

Who is ourselves ?I think You are among the sentimental people i am speaking of

What was aina fault yesterdayhuh

You guys should stop the aina hate abeg
There’s no aina hate! My guy, in his time at RB for eagles, he has been below average. Not extremely adventurous or great defensively and in the few times that ebuehi has played at RB, ebuehi has been more impressive than Aina. Let’s not deceive ourselves here everyone has a common goal which is for SE to Win

Don’t mind them

I just want ebuehi to play and that’s all

If naija failed to win Cape Verde with aina on the field he will be blamed even if osimhen missed an empty net it will all be aina fault

Most times I feel I argue with kids due to some sentiments
Aina has been below average at RB Let's just be honest with ourselves. It seems like his even a better LB than Rb for eagles and I will pick ebuehi over Aina and shehu but Rohr sef

Pound for pound, Algeria doesn't have a better overall squad than Nigeria but the way their coach set his team, they have the best team in Africa right now. This is the utmost importance of good coaching. It's not too late for Rohr to change and I hope he changes his ways

SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by 12large1:
I am grateful that we won despite the horrible pitch. but, to be honest, our team doesn't inspire or present me any confidence that we can lift next year ANC with today's performance. There wasn't apparent team cohesion, balance and we just looked like a team saturated with Individual Gifted players rather than teamwork. First of all, Playing a 424 makes the team imbalanced and if the coach wants to utilize a " 2 striker" system, he must changed that formation. 352, 3412, but never 424

Personally, I don't trust Ekong, balogun, Aina and Collins to be instrumental at the world stage, but they're good enough to win domestic title with the right coaching.
In midfield,
Joe aribo hasn't played any decent game for us at the continent and maybe the horrible pitch accounted for it.

At the wings, the Simon Moses, Ahmed Musa hasn't impressed me in a long time for SE and on current form, I will rather Ejuke, onyekuru on the wings.

Upfront: Osimehn was disappointing with his 1st touch, awareness and missed chances but scrutinizing his super eagles stats, he can be forgiven for today's below average performance.

Overall, I was impressed with Ndidi, iheanacho and Iwobi while rest were bang average or Bad.
As for coach Rohr, he needs to shove sentiment aside and select his best Available 11, select a balanced formation and stop compromising "familiarity" with "competence". In football, anything can happen but analyzing super eagles performance in respect to our opponent, we're an Anc semi final contender and another WC group stage exit (assuming we Qualify) except a drastic change occur

I dont know if it only me thinking this

How does S. Kalu gets call up always

I am not seeing or hearing what is doing in Bordeux and for the SE

It seems gornot rohr is just calling him because he plays for his former club
The man selects players based on familiarity before form because on current form, Chidera ejuke is our most inform winger
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by 12large1: 10:06am On Aug 28, 2021
Please, tell me how difficult it is selecting your best available 11? For example, imagine Chukwueze on the Right wing, Ejuke on the Left wing and Osimehn in the middle? The kind of chances that will be created each game with this selection will be enormous. So, why is our coach compromising "Familiarity" with "Best Available"? Rohr has done a good job stabilizing and rejuvenating our team from what he inherited but maybe it is time to search For a world class coach that can take us to the next Level.

My friend stop saying nonsense without data. Napoli spent in the region of 50 million to 75 million for a Nigerian born and raised Osimehn so don't tell us that Eu can't spend huge amount. It is the players that are comfortable remaining stagnant. See as osimehn left lille after 1 good season

How can you blame Rodgers? I blame iheanacho for not guaranteeing "play time" prior to signing that new contract. It is almost as if he is content with being a squad player

Ejuke is good, but is far from the finished product. Same with Chukwueze.

Both players very strong in their dribbling, but extremely basic in other aspects.

There are better candidates for both wings.
My friend shut up your dirty mouth. Which Nigerian winger is presently a finished product? When you have cerebral dribblers like ejuke and Chukwueze, you should utilize and maximize their talent to your benefit because players like that are special on their day. With the likes of chukwueze and ejuke, you don't really need a 10 just solidify your midfield with energetic players and playmake from the wing

Tammy is not the better finisher, Mr 12Large1.

Especially when Chan started, which can help increase our ranking back, so chillax
They're playing senior teams of those top African nations exactly what transpired against mexico. The chan team is weak and that affects the ranking of our SE eagles when they fail

We're now 5th in Africa and I am hearing that homebased Eagles are scheduled for another tournament in October at Baltimore Maryland. Unfortunately, I am anticipating another embarrassing performance which can subsequently reduce our ranking again. By the time pinnick is done with his hokebase experiment, SE might be ranked lower than 5th in Africa and we can expect a marquee match up vs Senegal, Algeria (I hope not) in the last round of the world cup.

Films excuse. Is he the only one to have had a long contract at leicester? The same club that sold maguire, kante, mahrez, chilwell all for big prices. According to Sulaiman (a Nigerian journalist) a top football agent said that ndidi is ready for the Big Elite Clubs.

This ndidi case sef is just infuriating. He should explain whether there are lack of interest by marquee teams or he isn't interested in Signing to another club because staying at leicester again for another season despite multiple years of impressive performance I don't know what else he is trying to prove. The likes of drinkwater, maguire, kante, mahrez didn't overstay theirself at leicester and I believe that ndidi deserves the same treatment. See as grealish sign for 100m plus

The same country that it's officers are killing unarmed African American youths on camera with impunity?? The problem with Nigerians is they worship white people aka Americans and those Americans has no regard or respect for them. If this case was reversed, you think America will extradite a white commissioner to China, Russia or even Nigeria?

An American father and son have been handed over to Japanese authorities for allegedly helping former Nissan boss Carlos Ghosn flee the country.

The two were charged last year with helping Mr Ghosn flee Japan, hidden in a box and on a private jet.

Mr Ghosn escaped to his childhood home, Lebanon, which has no extradition treaty with Japan.

Michael Taylor and his son Peter Taylor have fought a months-long battle to avoid extradition over the case.
