Decent English players will always move and it will be easier for them ,none of these players are even world class apart from Kanté

Who told you ndidi is getting offers and rejecting them ? How can you conclude that
If he is Better than Kante like some delusional Of grandeur said he is here, then surely, he has to be getting offers at the biggest club in the world. Some delusional guy here claimed that Ndidi is better than Kante and has been the best DM in Epl for the past 2 seasons. Yet, you don't believe that a bigger club has shown interest? Common brother

Cavani 31 goals in 40 plus games
Osimehn 10 goals in 28 games. Next time, come correct

Calm down bro

You think ndidi won’t jump at the opportunity to play for a better club than Leicester ?

But where is the offer ? You expect him to leave when there is no offer yet ? You really need to calm down

If ndidi is leaving Leicester he should not join arsenal sha because they are now a small club

I don talk my own
Bro, if Ndidi has been as good as people claim he is by being one of the best DM in EPl in the past few years, then he should had been getting offers. Is it not the same club that sold Maguire, Drinkwater, Chillwell, kante, Mahrez to United, Chelsea and man city in the last few years?? I think ndidi is getting offers and rejecting them because he is comfortable where he is at.

You keep bringing up Tammy. Now answer this, did Tammy even outscore Osimhen in all competitions in 2019/2020?? With 10 Ligue 1 games to spare, was Osimhen outscored by Tammy who finished his own season with Chelsea?

Next question, did Tammy battle with the length of absence due to Injuries and Covid Osimhen battled?? So this Tammy talk is totally off tangent. You have no cogent point with your constant irrelevant ref to Tammy.

Now, those stats are only irrelevant to you because obviously you still show some poor understanding of the game with respect to rated young talents.
And they aren't irrelevant to the fans of Naples because they were the ones who brought up those stats in the first place. I only built on it and expatiated it further. It is indeed impressive that Osimhen hit double digits faster than famed Strikers, Cavani and Higuain did in their own first seasons, despite his devastating injury troubles.

And one fact you keep doing so well to ignore is that for a striker signed for such lofty amount who had to go through the hell of a 2months+ shoulder injury, Covid infection which kept him out for two more weeks and a head trauma injury, and is still able to bag 13 direct goals contributions in 22 league games (14 starts), then that striker has indeed done well and only better is expected when such a striker have a fully fit/injury free season.
For context, Tammy has also played 22 league games this season (12 starts) and only bagged 8 direct goals contributions. Suffered ankle Injury that kept him out of only 6 games compared to Osimhen's injury episodes that kept him out for close to 17/18 games.

And finally, Cavani had the luxury of making 32 starts alone out of those 35 games in Serie A. No injury nightmares like Osimhen's.
Meanwhile, Osimhen will only end up with 16 league starts when the season is done and dusted. Not even up to 20 starts in all Competitions yet he has 10 goals + 3 assists already. So again, he has delivered a fine start to life at Napoli despite his injury woes.

Some of you thought he would fail, but thanks goodness, he is tearing your negative forecasts to pieces as he goes along. All this nonsense you keep dropping in the name of opinion is just what it is. Noise and nonsense.

So biko don't quote me if you're going to keep refusing to acknowledge the whole context of the head trauma, Covid and Shoulder injury episodes Osimhen battled this season on his way to his current impressive form of 7 goals + 2 assists in his last 9 games for Napoli.

Now, excuse me.
My friend stop talking irrelevant stats like "first to score 1, 2, 10 goals" that's a nonsense irrelevant stats in the grand scheme of things. You should judge a striker by his overall contribution at the end of the season and in osimehn case 10 goals in 28 games isn't Good enough for 90 Million. He didn't Fail neither was he exceptional. He was "Average" but he can surpass his previous tally going by his age, Potential etc. This discussion started because you started glorifying "other Attributes" in a striker like "Hold up play" etc and I was responding by saying a striker is judged by his over Goal scored or Assists Created. You also brought another irrelevant nonsense like "osimehn started XYZ amount of games like starting isn't earned. He wasn't impressive in the early part of the season the injury and covid 19 made him not start as many games as possible but he could had still scored more goals this season if not for missing sitters while scoring difficult Goals. Overall, I will Give him a "C"

The problem with many people here is that once they have their favorite, anyone saying contrary opinion to their favorite becomes a Hater to them even though he is criticizing constructively. Ndidi for example has been advised to leave a small club like leicester for the past few years in order for him to win Collective trophies and have the chances of winning individual Trophy. But, he is still happy chasing glory at a smaller club. Tomorrow, when no Nigerian player is nominated for Caf awards, people will say politics. Delusion of Granduer, Selective favorite analyst is getting into people heads here

Listen here mister man. I have told you before to come to me with something intelligent to say and not your usual empty babblings. You always ignore the context.

Osimhen reached 10 goals in Serie A faster than Cavani and Higuain did in their own first seasons with Napoli. That is hard fact.

Osimhen reached this mark despite having to battle various injury/health episodes for months. Cavani and Higuain didn't battle those yet Osimhen came back and bagged double digits faster than those two did.

How you deliberately continue to ignore the fact that this lad is on the goals count he is despite having to go through hell healthwise tells me what a slow understanding you have or probably tells me you are just a guy who types nonsense to irritate people on purpose.

And please, cease with your silly playing down of the lad. His all round game is not just "Okay". It is actually top notch and getting even better. Merci.
Mr man, reaching 10 goals faster than another player is an Irrelevant stats in the grand scheme of things. What matters is the overall season stats by the end of the season. This is how fans Rate, describe their player and in this case, it isn't good enough for 90 Mil but that doesn't mean that he won't improve, Appreciate and surpass the previous tally.
Cavani first season in Napoli ended at 26 goals in 35 Seria A games and 5 goals in 8 Europa league games. This is what matter by the end of the season not irrelevant nonsense like first to score 1, 2 or 10 goals.
A 90 Mil striker should be returning atleast 20 Goals a season in all Competitions. Osimhen has the potential to surpass this season records but please don't be glorifying "other statistics" except Goals Return because a striker main Ranking is by Goals scored or assist created
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by 12large1:
Edison cavani 1st season at Napoli 31 goals in 48 games
Victor osimehn 10 goals in 28 games please tell me the better Game vs Goal Ratio between this 2?

Osimehn going by this season (C) has the potential to score more goals considering he was injured, Covid 19, and it's his first season in Seria A. He might surpass his this season goal tally next season, but don't ever assume that Napoli fans were expecting a 10 in 28 G to G Ratio/ROI or are overall happy with such tally. Whether you guys like it or not, Osimehn must work on his weakness in other to improve and score more goals

Cons:

1) Positioning he should learn how to position himself to get the right pass. Lately, he has been doing that correctly that's why he scored 4 in 5

2) Missed Chances - Osimehn should stay calm infront of goal and convert the easy chances because dude missed many chances this season that if converted could had reached 20 goals. He scored difficult goals this season and missed easy chances.

Pros:
1) PACE very fast
2) Strength - an extremely strong player
3) hardworking- when he isn't scoring, he is working Hard
4) intelligent- osimehn is a fairly intelligent striker that create chances for his teammates.
5) he usually uses his pace to score the difficult goals out of nothing
Overall, I will give him a "C" simply because of that huge transfer 90M, Covid 19, injuries, and if he improves on his positioning and stop missing sitters, the guy can score 20 goals next season. I am a Fan but when it comes to analyzing games, I have to be neutral and emotionless

If you like try to make yourself feel good by discussing irrelevant stats like "first to score 10 goals" but in actual fact,
Edison cavani scored 26 seria A goals in 35 games in his 1st season at Napoli
And 5 goals in 8 games in europa league = 31 goals in 48 games in his First season. This is the type of stats that matter and ROI expected when signing a player for 90 Million not irrelevant nonsense you're ranting like "how many games it took to score 10 goals" discuss the end result (overall season stats) and compare it to the sign in fee. If our boy was an English man, you guys will voice your real opinions. I seen what yall said about Tammy Abraham last season

The matter of fact is that a player signed for 90 Million is expected to score more than 10 goals in 28 games a season. (Overall games) please, stop writing nonsense irrelevant stats. It was the same Nigerians that were trivalizing Tammy Abraham 15 epl goals last season that are trying to be understanding with 10 in 28 goals. Personally, osimehn has done Relatively ok (C) he didn't justify that 90 million pounds return 10 in 28 games (overall) neither did he Flopped.

Like I have always said. Everything about being the complete striker package is not just about goals alone. It's about goals, presence, impact and much more.

Watching that game closely shows again how easily Napoli tears apart a team thanks to the penetrative movements of Osimhen. The ease at which he opens up defences with his constant runnings and speedy movements to escape the defensive press.
As a mobile pressing forward, he also gets into positions sometimes too quickly which explains why he could miss chances sometimes and from time to time but in the end, lad still bags and creates opportunities for others to bag.

He was responsible for two of Napoli's goals in that win before being taken off.

His sweet touch from that Zielinski headed pass and swift turn to escape the press of the defender is not talked about enough. Beautiful movement to open up that defence. The keeper did well to cover the angle but the rebound was met by Zielinski eventually. 1-0.

The third goal scored by Lozano was all thanks to the crazy pressing of Osimhen. He made the GK give away the ball without picking his pass properly and Lozano pounced and did the rest.

In summary, Osimhen created 3 chances today and also created a big chance. Had 100% passing accuracy as well. Didn't misplace his passes. Linked up to near perfection too.
A pressing forward who never stops running, who never tires of haggling the opposition both in his own half and in the final third, who scores and who also creates chances and openings for teammates with his hold up plays, link up plays and movements.

Certain Expert analysts of the Serie A see all these and here is one to just confirm what I say. because if it came from me, una go call am the "usual hype talk of Nerdie" but it is coming from an Italian expert of the Serie A itself.

This is from today's game (i.e. Yesterday - May 11 vs Udinese).
Keep deceiving yourself. Osimehn might eventually score consistently but for 90 mil you want your strikers scoring consistently and not doing what you described. Yes, his all round game is okay but strikers main attributes is to score Goals especially for 90 mil.

The problem with sentimental Nigerians is that they like to trivalize others achievements then when you say something contrary to their believe, you become a hater even if you actually like that person. Foe example, A Nigerian scoring 100 goals in Indian league a season is an equivalent of scoring 40 goals in a farmer's league and 10 goals in EPL. You see the difference my guy?

Osimehn had a fairly decent game. He was marked thoroughly and didn't create enough space for himself but dude needs to cut that habit of missing sitters. He should stay calm in front of goal and he will end up scoring lots of goals.
Overall: I will give him a "C" this season simply because of that huge transfer fee. When you consider that it's only his 3rd season professionally, Age, covid 19, injuries and the fact that he is playing at the big 3 league (non farmers league) he has done relatively good by scoring 10 goals but for 90 million, napoli fans were expecting more than 10 goals

Pros
Pace
Strength
Power
Powerful shot

Cons osimehn must work on next season
Positioning- he has to learn how to position himself and create space for himself
Missing Chances- if I count how many sitters osimehn missed this season, he could had scored 20 goals
Temperament- he gets angry, irritated and tempered easily and opponents might try to get into his head

Francis uzoho made his debut for deportivo in LA liga at age 17, he was destined to have a solid career at DEPORTIVO or LA liga in the future until Nigerians decided to start a smear campaign on him by assassinating his character. I.e labeling him an "age cheat" without any evidence. The guy even had a decent world cup for his age but afterwards, no serious team was willing to take a risk or gamble with him. This is how his career trajectory was ruined by His fellow Nigerians especially without any anecdotal or factual evidence. I hope Nigerians learn the importance of Reputation, branding, social media etc I hope Francis will one day forgive his people for how they tried to ruin his character without evidence. Anyway, it's a lesson to us Super Eagles fan. Please, be mindful of how you falsely accuse players of Age falsification and if you don't have any proof, evidence except facial structures, then don't accuse your own of cheating because the repercussions can be long lasting and damaging
