Napoli can't go anywhere with their current set up. Keeps possession, no drive, everyone wants to shoot. No crossing, no through passes, nothing. Osimhen would do best to leave before they stagnate his progress.
There's nothing wrong with Napoli style that's how they do it in Italy just that osimehn isn't their type of striker and either they play to his strengths or he play to their strengths. A player like simy will score double figures at Napoli and I don't even consider simy a better player than osimehn. Due diligence is very important before signing a big contract

Onuachu game has really improved.
I wasn't a fan of Onuachu based on his horrible performance for SE and I'm not just talking about Goals his overall performance for SE was Atrocious prior to his last 2 games. In his last 2 games vs Benin, Lesotho, his overall performance was impressive and he capped it with 2 goals. This is why it's imperative to invite in form players because Confidence can be the difference between 0 goal and 1 goal

Your comparison doesn't hold water.

How was Simy's first season's performance

How many goals did he score in his first season?

If I remember correctly, this is his 4th season in Italy, and I also remember that he scored his first goal in his first season after 25 games, that was his goal against Juventus in 2018 before the world Cup
You're right but how much did simy sign for in his first season? Osimehm came to napoli for 70 mil meaning that he is coming and expected to score goals meaning that his representatives should had done their due diligence before selling him. If osimehn was at Liverpool, Dortmund best believe that he would score more goals. I don't think experience is the issue but Napoli style vs osimehn style because you can still see that he is a good player

It seems Our brothers here don’t like players who are 27 upward grin
In today's Era that players are playing at 36,38 omo 28 is even young. These isn't the 80's or 90's that footballers retire at 32,33. For now we need to be playing 2 strikers every game because our strengths is in our strikers

Players has to do their due diligence before signing a player because the way napoli style is set up, osimehn isn't the type of striker needed. Someone will now use his mouth to trivalize Simy goal scoring records in the same seria A

Seria A has to be the hardest to score among the big 3 or mapoli style doesn't suit osimehn. Respect any player that scores double figure in that Seria A

I don't think that he is a racist as in color racist hating black people because he had successful black players on his team. But, I don't think he respect African Football culture that's why he doesn't sign them. Pep doesn't believe that African Football culture is technical enough. Another thing about pep is his disdain for players with "tough Characters" he absolutely will not tolerate any player that wants to be bigger than him and that has nothing to do with Color.

Modern-day football is far from how football was played in the 90s and early 2000s. For those singing Simy and Onauchu's praises, I hope say una deh watch football.

Modern-day football is all about PACE, and AGILITY.

Let's shun this myopic behavior of ours, and call a spade a spade, at least for once.

Any ardent football fan will agree to the fact that Simy and Onauchu are light years behind, in terms of modern-day football. These guys are too slow for crying out loud.

Like I said in my previous post;

The top 4 Super Eagles strikers are;

V. Osimhen
K. Nacho
T. Moffi
U. Sadiq

Here's my reason.

V. Osimhen: This guy possesses everything you'd want from a CF. Apart from his SPEED, which I believe is a crucial facet of every successful striker, Osimhen can creates lots and lots of chances for his teammates to bang the goals.

Mind you, he's not a skillful striker, but his PACE, oh my good God...

K. Nacho: Nacho lacks PACE! Yes, I talk am. The boy isn't pacy, but...he's got a tremendous skill set to substitute for that. In his day, he can make scoring fun-filled, I swear. In fact, ask Man Utd fans, I believe they'll have one or more contributions to make.

T. Moffi: He's not a household name, to start with. In short, he's one of those new kids in the block. But hey! This guy got PACE and STRENGTH, coupled with SWEET LEFT-FOOT. Seeing Moffi balling reminds me of one Belgian bulldog, the great Lukaku. Although he's not very tall like the Belgian number 9. But his SHOT on-target is powerful enough to either ends a keeper's career, or shift the goal post.

U. Sadiq: He's the tallest of the 4. But guess what? He's got loads of PACE and SKILLS. Sadiq is a joy to watch.

Simy and Onauchu? I like these 2 guys, but I wouldn't love to have them near the GWG.

My reason(s)?

Simy and Onauchu are damn slow! Forget about the goals. But I can tell for a fact that these 2 guys can not penetrate some very AVERAGE defenders of this world.

Neither Simy nor Onauchu has what it takes to play modern-day football. They lack PACE!

Quote me anywhere...
You must be a mad slowpoke. A player that has 17 goals in the same league that another player has 5 goals isn't good enough for Nigeria?? You don Colo. I'm not even saying that he should be a starter, but he deserves a chance to compete for shirt since he is in form. Kanu wasn't the fastest player in the world but his football intelligence and technique made up for it

It’s dumb to use Villarreal and arsenal to judge who is better

90 percent of people here knows saka is the better player but some are pained saka didn’t play for naija so they will opt for chuks

So if chuks scores and saka failed to score that means he is better than saka ? Lol

Many of una no sabi anything las las grin
Although, chuks has lost form and hasn't been as good as he was when he came into the scene, you cannot deny that chuks first season in LA liga was world class. He was really good and terrorizing madrid and barca in his 1st season. Idk what happened afterwards

So if saka scores he is the better player ?

If samu score he is the better player ?

Uncle there's a debate o. Some section here say that saka is better while some sections says that chuks is better. Now, they have been paired against each other and are expected to play the 2 legs assuming there isn't any injuries to the 2 and 180 minutes of football is a good measurement of comparisons between the 2. Also, we're not just analyzing goals but their overall contribution in those 180 minutes

Etebo in my opinion has not been played in a role that allows him to play his best football and Rohr should be held responsible for that. Siasia seemed to be able to get the best out of him

Osimhen a terrible buy for Napoli.. Imagine ?

In this game of football, fans are very fickle and emotional. Iheanacho has shown that few impressive games can have a change of opinion from the fans. Remember, the same fans said much worse about iheanacho 2 years ago and in the space of 2 spaces, few impressive performances they're having a change of heart about him. Osimehn should keep working hard, improving and scoring and slowly by slowly, napoli fans will be excited about him and adulating him.

I disagree with you sir. Even in his role in Leicester city, you'll see his work rate, but I've not really seen him do 20 percent of what he does at Leicester city in the Super Eagles. Instead, he would be causing unnecessary free kicks in dangerous positions. The Afcon matches against Algeria and Madagascar are examples. Those two freekicks led to a goal.

If you want to hype Etebo, please do so without trying to ridiculously water down Ndidi's impact in the SE. If Etebo has been playing better than Ndidi as some people who have us believe then how come the latter's absence in the team has been felt in games he didn't feature, while same can't be said of the former? Or rather, my question will be why do you get so tensed whenever somebody mentions Etebo? If Etebo has been chuning out better performance as you have claimed, you won't be fighting so hard to shove it down our throats because it will be apparent for all to see, but since you know that what you are selling is not the obvious, you keep on repeating the same nauseating and mendacious claim hoping it will become true in the minds of the audience. I don't want to speak ill of Etebo. I have said he is a good player and I still maintain that stance, but this ludicrous comparison of Etebo and Ndidi should cease.
We all watched 2018 world cup and 2019 ANC and the best SE midfielder in those 2 tournaments was ETEBO. So calling him average at best is calling all SE midfielders below at best. One thing I have noticed is that once people have their favorite here, anyone that his opinion goes against the contrary, they will feel attacked. Personally, I don't Give a fvck SE comes before any individual and I'm not analyzing on emotions

You better cease quoting me if you cannot bring yourself to say something sensible on my mention. You always quote me out of context. Thank you.
Saying his just a good "squad player" at best when he has been the best SE midfielder at 2 tournaments that I watched and statistically documented by analyst is insulting. Based on wc 18 and Anc 19, if etebo is a squad player at best then what will iwobi and ndidi be??

Aribo will still come very good in the GWG. He is a quality talent. Got a high ceiling and I believe he will evolve into that more assertive player in the middle for us. Among our midfielders he remains the most adept at arriving late in the box to provide scoring threats for us. But his qualities show he can be much more.

Etebo is a good squad player but won't offer us that midfield control we seek.

Options will come. Ejaria is still incoming and he is a good ball carrier. Nwakali is seriously working his way back and is one that can orchestrate a game effortlessly.

Little Lesley Ugochukwu should be the next big thing at CDM in Ligue 1 when he finally gets his senior chances next season.
If Frank Onyeka makes the step up from Denmark into a top 5 league or even Belgium, be too could become a squad option.

This is my hope and more for the CM and DM roles depth of the team. Just a matter of time.
The Etebo that you guys talk down on has been more impressive than Ndidi for Super Eagles in 2 tournaments that I watched all games. Wc 2018, ANC 2019..... I think he deserves some respect

The way napoli players celebrate with osimehn when he scored made me realize that there isn't any personal discord with him rather they're not used to his fast pace style that's why he doesn't get as much ball as he does at SE. Osimehn is a player that thrives on pace, Running etc while napoli thrives on Slow paced football. So, in order for osimehn to excel napoli has to change their philosophy to suit him or osimehn should change his own philosophy to suit napoli style.. Good goal today!
