yap you are right by saying ujah deserves a call up, but my problem is the hype you guys are making it seem like if inviting ujah will solve our problem thats why i'm telling y'all that it won't we already have many players like him in eagles anyway he should have been called up to the u-23 |
u guys just rappin ujah dosen't look anything special he looks like another akpala |
sorry semid but the least of super eagles problem now is strikers we have bunch many available so calling up anthony ujah would make no difference to what we already have, from the video sef the guy looks like another akpala. our main problem is the middle and aneke would definetly make it world class if he reaches his potential not many times do i rejoice over english born naija players but aneke is different. odu we are talkbing about despite playing only 1 game for ac milan prior to his call up he was the best performer against eg |
mehn this bobo is just too good technically to be born in england. i swear england can have moses, agbolahor,cc,onuoha, ameobi but as long as we have this one i'm good. although slow the guy has berghamp technique, his like a mixture of berghamp and fabregas into 1 if he can reach his potential i think he would be called up for the egypt game |
ok when is the final result coming out |
number 4 was "chidi osuchukwu" i forgot to put his name also feel free to siagree and add your own players to watch |
1. Stanley okoro - with nigeria lacking a player that has good dribbling skills, a good left winger and can also be a good tranquester{second striker} stanley okoro should be the number 1 player to look out for although selfish at times if he can become less selfish and play to his talent he is potentially the most skillfull player we have had since okocha 2. Ahmed musa - we already know about this one. a good winger/striker that has pace, power, skill must keep a good eyes on him definetly a star for us 3. Ramon Azeez - a good defensive midfilder that has powerful shots, good long range pass, can tackle cleanly, a player that reportedly has signed up with almeria another one for the future. damm is goin be hard to make super eagles now because of the new emergence of 4 classy midfilders joel, mikel, ibrahim, haruna but i expect him to be at olympics squad next year definetly better than nwankwo for me 4.Since Augustine “Jay-Jay” Okocha retired from international football in 2006, the Nigeria national football team have struggled to find attacking midfielders of Okocha’s qualities. I am not implying that Chidi Osuchukwu, the playmaker of Dolphins FC, can become the new Okocha but it is a fact that Osuchukwu currently is one of the greatest attacking midfielders in the Nigeria Premier League. Many experts expect Osuchukwu to achieve great things as a footballer, also outside the Nigerian borders.i haven't seen this one play more than once so i'm judging him based on experts in nigeria premier league 5. Terna suswan - already a super eagles player for me his better than the both of adefemi olubayo and chibuzor okonkwo, if friendly match was used to take players to worldcup he should have been there because against saudi arabia he was the best defender by a mile. he plays for victoria setual a famously known for having rashidi yekini in their ranks might not feature in this tornament because of club commitments but i expect him to play in u-20 world cup in the summer{if we qualify} and olympics next year Notable Absent gomo onduku - less skillful version of stanley okoro but apparently started proffesional football in 2005 and quoted at that time{2005} in norway press saying he wants to be like mikel. nevertheless who am i to judge afterall most of them might be overage anyway still a good player terry envoh - rated high on this website but i just don't rate him yet still plays like a school boy fortune chukwudi- dropped but i hope he makes it after this tornament because his a good dm kenneth omeruo - another cb dropped again is not easy to pair new entire cb i really liked this 2 performance in u-17 Sani emmanuel - The biggest suprise of all how can you drop your best finisher with many creative players in this squad you need a good finisher emmanuel is dropped because he went for many trials sorry how is he suppose to feed himself and love ones i hope to see him in the future worldcup hope this move don't make obun pay. Onazi ogenyi - Rated highly in lazio as a good attacking midfilder |
idiot abeg shut up it is ur papa thats lazy, before when there wasn't any attacking midfilder then u can talk but now there are many options like joel, ibrahim, igiebor so it would be good to mae mikel a dm damm aint u guys tired of talking bout mikel |
guy you clearly know the 442 i was talking about the good ol 442 nobody uses that anymore. diamond formation na diamond formation |
i am impressed with the way siasia has started he has given youth a chance, homabase and also playing attacking football but one problem i have with him is his formation. 442 or 424 is totally old and dead no one uses it anymore siasia should either go with a 4231 or 433 formation. you can say amodu used 433 and was poor but remember that amodu 433 was with 3 defensive midfilders, but right now our best classic players are in midfield with the likes of joel obi, mikel obi, haruna, ibrahim, igiebor one should not expect only 2 midfilders. the midfield yesterday was good in the middle but they lacked someone to hit the final ball just look at the space between mikel and joel with those 4 strikers. |

damm nigeria vs e guinea u-23 on aitinternatinal online before i was mad when igiebor benched ibrahim but oboy this guy dey shine ohh he can driblle well plus his a playmaker |
how is a calamity defender like yobo classified as the only quality nonsense |
as long as we play with most of their senior players no problem, infact i don't want messi to play he has played many games already. for douters argentina coach sergio batista said he would bring his best players |
na wa sef i think someone in this place knows oge well, because she said it well the first time, second time she explained it. dats an inside work. but na wa ohh i dint know this is how blackberry is in naija now when i comot naija apartment was 120,000 naira per year, now black berry na 120,000 |
infact at the end of the movie she even explained it, and made nairaland sound big lol |
my fault if a thread similar like this was already posted than nevermind |
i don't know if this is already posted but nairaland was mentioned in nigeria movie blackberry babes. when oge ogoye blackmailed her professors she was telling him that the picture would be on facebook, twitter, youtube, nairaland |
well football is give and take. the guy performance in 2007 and 2009 was good and at that time nigeria didnt have any out and out attacking midfilder so the best thing to do at that time is to call ur only option and it was ibrahim. because even if he dosen't have a club his talent was there i still cannot take 6 defensive midfilders over him |
semid not really of course i'm happy but i can't overrate him till he performs well. i remember how mikel performed in 2005 and acn 2006 then we all loved him only for him to become a sideways passer 2 years later. rabiu must perform well consistently before he can be really good. next is stanley okoro |
i think he would because if musa, uchebo and nkume can get work permit for small venlo then rabiu should be able to get for psv. anyway siasia needs to change that his 424 formation with more attacking midfilders availble we can't play only 2 midfilders |
bia biko u better not start suggesting those oldies soon now the mumu would ask for keita, etuhu my guy this decade midfield is for joel, mikel, ibrahim, lukman, okoro, ekpo, nwankwo, azeez and any new big talent. so abeg no dey suggest nonsense if ayila likes let him play well for his club |
so basically he has signed but dutch nationa association needs to grant him work permit. thats definetly a good thing for us. |
As reported by the official website of Dutch giants PSV, there is an agreement in principle for the Nigeria youth international, Rabiu Ibrahim to join the Eindhoven based club on a multi-year contract. A report in Dutch number one sports daily Voetbal International says the contract is until the summer of 2014. On Friday, Marcel Brands, Technical Manager of PSV announced that not all obstacles have been overcome. ''PSV have signed an agreement in principle. Due to the deadline, the club signed him and all the formalities with the KNVB put in motion. If all the formalities are in place, then we shall sign the commitment., '' says Brands to the club's official website. It was necessary for PSV to act quickly. Rabiu celebrates his twentieth birthday on Tuesday and as a player from outside the EU, he would have been entitled to wages of at least 500, 000 euros per year. Now the Nigerian earns only 264 000 euros. In Nigeria, Rabiu is seen as a great talent and is being likened to the former Bolton start Austin Okocha. After a succesful world cup with the Nigeria Under 17s, a transfer to Sporting Lisbon followed. But he failed to justify his wonder-kid tag and was released from his contract. Rabiu WILL join the Olympic Team next week. Photo Credit: Official PSV Website |
wen did this mumu start watching nigeria football agawoa our best striker enyeama our best keeper lmao otemu |
i don't know why his begging for keita you are already forgivven nigeria don't have no more grudges against you but unfortunately your not good enough. siasia plays with only 2 midfilders one playmaker and another defensive midfilder. as a playmaker you are neither better than joel obi, rabiu ibrahim, emmanuel ekpo or haruna lukman as a dm you are not better than mikel obi, obiora nwankwo or ramon azeez so foreal i just don't see where you can't fit your world cup red card is not what is keeping you from eagles. if okocha was still playing in super eagles and he was sent off he would be recalled immediately |
Nigeria international Sani Kaita has again rued “the worst mistake of my life” when he was sent off at last year’s World Cup and has revealed he looks forward to a Super Eagles recall to show how sorry he is to his country. In a frank interview with MTNFootball.com, the midfielder asked Eagles coach Samson Siasia to recall him for a 2012 Nations Cup qualifier against Ethiopia on March 27, almost nine months after he was sent off for a foul on a Greek player as Nigeria fell 2-1 in a 2010 World Cup tie. “It was the worst thing that ever happened in my life. That was not Sani Kaita,” admitted Kaita, who is now playing regularly at Greek side Iraklis. “Personally, I was angry and frustrated after what happened and it took me a long time to get over this. I can also understand the anger of the fans. “Last year, I was picked for a friendly against Iran, which was eventually not played. “Nigeria is my country and I’m always very proud to represent this country. And now I will give anything to be back playing for the Super Eagles again.” He added: “I have accepted my big mistake and the only way the whole world will know that is when I return to the team and I’m more professional. “I’m 100% ready and I will be most fulfilled to be come back, but the final decision rests with the coach.” Nigeria coach, Samson Siasia, will this week announce his final squad for the Group B Nations Cup qualifying match against Ethiopia in Abuja. The full MTNFootball.com interview with Sani Kaita: MTNFootball.com: Kaita, after a slight delay with your entry visa you are now in Greece. How has it been over there? KAITA: Everything is okay. I’m happy again and playing regularly. I’m committed to Iraklis till at least the summer when my loan deal will run out. What would become of you in the summer then? In the summer, my contract with Monaco will be up and then I would want to make a permanent transfer. Iraklis would want to sign me outright, but we would just have to wait and see. At the weekend, your club won 1-0 at Aris. Iraklis have now climbed to eighth spot on the table with 32 points from 25 matches. I started the game and played for 75 minutes. The away victory has improved our standings on the league table. This weekend, you welcome champions Panathiniakos, who defeated your team last season 2-0 to win the championship. It will be a tough game. We’re playing at home and our win against Aris will give us confidence. Team spirit is at an all-time high. To now beat the champions will be special and it will give us even more confidence. What are your impressions of your new club? Iraklis are a good team. We work for each other. We’re a big family and the players often hang out together, unlike what happens in a country like Russia. You had a chance to move to Greece immediately after the World Cup, but you refused. Why? The truth was that I was very disappointed with my sending off in South Africa and it was against Greece that this happened. I could not therefore come to terms with coming down to play my football in that country. At least three Greek clubs were interested in signing me, but I turned them down. So, how have the Greek fans received you now? Iraklis fans have supported me and for that I’m even more encouraged to do more for this club. Have you been asked about the World Cup red card? Yes, some of the fans have asked me about that sad incident. But what has most amazed me was that the Greek player (Visalis Torosidis) who got me sent off is known here in Greece for his play acting. He is well known in the league for diving and all sorts of things. You could therefore understand how he went down when I attempted to kick him; it was if I had killed him when in fact I did not really get to him. On hindsight now, what are your thoughts on that red card? It was the worst thing that ever happened in my life. That was not Sani Kaita. Nine months after that episode, do you think that Nigeria has forgiven you? I want to believe so because last year I was picked for a friendly against Iran, which was eventually not played. Personally, I was angry and frustrated after what happened and it took me a long time to get over this. I can also understand the anger of the fans. Nigeria is my country and I’m always very proud to represent this country. And now I will give anything to be back playing for the Super Eagles again. I have accepted my big mistake and the only way the whole world will know that is when I return to the team and I’m more professional. I’m 100% ready and I will be most fulfilled to be come back, but the final decision rests with the coach. Eagles coach, Samson Siasia, gave you your first break in international football with the U20s. Have you been in contact with him since his appointment? I called to congratulate him on his appointment. I have played for many years under him, he knows my value and knows what happened was out of my character. I’m waiting for his phone call. Even though I have been out of the national team, my spirit has remained with my teammates there. For the team’s last game against Sierra Leone, I called some of them and wished them luck. My spirit has always been with the Eagles and now I will be a fulfilled man, body and soul, when I return to the team. Ethiopia are the Eagles next opponents later this month in a Nations Cup qualifier. What should Nigeria expect? I know that Ethiopia have been doing well recently. There are no longer small countries or easy matches in international football, but with the quality of our players and the new coaches, we should win well. mtnfootball.com |
jj okocha for me just simply too good. |
wow i'm dissapointed in siasia. me i don't think nigerians are mad at yakubu just because of that wc miss. we have all heard the saying "your cup will soon be fulled" since 2007 yakubu has been our main striker prior to acn 2008 yakubu was nigerian the top scorer in premier league scoring tap ins for middlesbroug but anytime he come for nigeria he was plays rubbish. imagine if it was okocha tha missed a chanced with free posts he would be easily forgiven because we know he is a great player. but yakubu has been total rubbish almost all of the time he has played for us. for keita the guy is another useless player semid you cannot just be hardworking and think thats the only thing you need to survive in football. hardwork is good but you need some type of ball sense. 10 strikers better than yakubu and why he should never be recalled in eagles even if he scores 50 goals for leister 1. emenike 2. martins 3. obasi 4.obinna 5. osaze 6. peter utaka 7. anichebe 8. edward ofere 9. chrisantus 10. sani emmanuel this 10 strikers should be considered before yakubu. 10 midfilders to be considered before keita 1. rabiu ibrahim 2. joel obi 3. mikel obi 4. haruna lukman 5. stanley okoro 6. emmanuel ekpo 7. kalu uche 8. barthelomen igbenegbu 9. obiora nwankwo 10 ramon azeez this 10 players should be considered before thinking of calling useless keita so for me in order words this 2 players are not good for nigeria ever |
they better not because from day 1 it was obvious that the tornament was flawed. and worse of all the agent is nigerian by birth. so if we sue him in the future when another nigerian wants us to legitimately play in usa their federation would not accept |
