I used to be a coke addict when I was in the university, owing to the fact that meals we were served at the canteen was terrible. So I resorted to cokes and other soft drinks to improve the palatability of the meals. I thought I was hooked, but I dropped the habit without knowing when I did that. I think that I achieved that feat when I started to consume delicious meals.

That's one of the problems I have. Over a period of say a year I eat over 80 percent of my meals outside control (outside my home) in various locations and I must say a good number of these meals are just unpalatable. I often need something strong to push it down. The quality of food out there is just as bad. Standards everywhere are falling causing more people to turn towards factory foods. When I was growing up stomach upsets were very rare. These days I know someone who's cramping up daily. Its scary.
