Just leave this thread. If you are fascinated by atheist perhaps you should become one instead of chastising. I could send you Dawkin's book if you want. Send me your email and i'd send it to you now. You can keep yourself occupied with that for the time being.

If you only want to constitute a nuisance and wonder why we are smarter than you then google it, your answers are there. Please bro, go away before our intelligence on important matters confuse you.

Ok, I'll go. Send the book to [my email]. smiley Let me know when you've sent it.

Yes.

Funny how we find many theologians absent from formal atheist debates.....some of them know the academic bullsheit the holy books are

Lol. Once again, how you think! How do you expect a theologian in a 'formal atheist' debate?

Anonyism at its best......selectively quoting and forming nonsense mirror arguments

Why not handle the full statement?

You edited it without telling me na. Is it my fault that I quoted your unedited post?

After much much sha, na still dust you yarn!

Religious philosophy is a well-defined field in itself. There are skill sets necessary to operating effectively in it and you do not acquire them by merely reading the Bible. That much is an established fact. Established by the existence of academies and fellowships that regulate the field.

It's the rather silly arrogance that drives you to make such a curious statement that also drives Dawkins to debate established theologians on things he knows zilch about. And fill every argument he makes against theism and religion with pungent brain farts.

Word!

How can debate someone who believes he is seeing things you cant see? Where do you start with such a person?

Dude i know you must be real popular here but i would strongly advise you dont engage these guys, it would not lead anywhere.

Without people like you the world would know peace. People like you with your narrow mindedness are the reason for all the carnage in the world, you are the reason the human existence has not moved further. You are anti-evolution, retrogressive and if people like us did not exist you would have all died of some disease or something by now without stressing to find a cure under the belief that your gods are punishing you.

My real brothers in the house please leave these jokers, they make a lot of noise with their puppet gods that require their hands and mouths to become animated.

If you dont belong to these thread, please leave. This is your final warning. I would not hold back my spite for your kind if you remain here. I have been nice and all i want is to fellowship with people like me. Please leave.

Maybe sometimes. My own na epic boredom! When you argue the same thing over and over and over again, you start asking how anyone sees any sense in some things. Then you get epically bored. Then you don't argue. Then you're silent. Then you restrain yourself from speaking. grin grin grin

I know people who got positions just because they know one pastor or the other.
Shouldn't there be some form of integrity in allowing the normal process to take its course?
Instead you see people using "church" connections to get ahead of probably more competent candidates

One thing that Dawkins made mention of in his book is the almost impossibility of the gathering of freethinkers. He attributed this to the strong willed and independent nature of a person who is almost quite literally going against the tides. Such a person naturally detests authority as at some point they would have been alienated by their family, colleagues, pastor and other persons of authority for their belief or lack of it.

Also such a person would most likely have experienced some form of discrimination. I remember being told by my lecturer that i was a cultist because i refused to fill a religion in some form back in my university days.

We are a considerable number of people that would have to come together and commune with each other, because it is only then that we can help each other through the mess that this theist have created.

Ofcourse there are. We do not encourage nepotism in this case. It is unchristain to do so.
