Yea! Just like I said 'some have done it to guys' but its often rare in this part of the world..

It goes both ways.. Just like it kills some men also, when ladies do it to them. But i think it hurts the ladies more compared to men when rejected.

Wooing a guy is actually very freeing, especially when he says yes. One of my sister's friends has been eyeing a single guy for 3 years, and she hasn't made a move. That's torture. Whether the guy says yes or no, at least the girl will get her answer and move on accordingly. She'll even be more courageous or confident should an opportunity present itself again.

Scarcely will you see a girl that will woo a guy..It takes a lot of confidence for a lady to do that.

The fear of rejection is the beginning of silence..If she gets rejected,it would definitely deflate her ego and self-esteem.Most of them would prefer to pass the message bodily than directly approaching you.

Though we have a very few of them who can summon courage and express it..But they're rare.

No be new thing na... Its already a norm. The only thing is that some of them won't just ask you 'will you be my bf?' But their actions will speak volumes more than the phrase above.
I've got uncountable of them from my teens hitherto. Some my age, some younger, some older and married women are not left out.
And most begged for s*x (I declined all).
All the r/ships I've been into, I didn't ask dem girls out. It just started from crushing from both sides and bingo!
