Fountainofyouth: Crossing the road is an unsafe situation because one can't control what happens next, should we because of that not leave the house because we do not want to cross the road? Since everything is a hazard. Why bother trying to keep yourself safe at all? |

Powerhouse5050: Nigerian women don't know how to walk away.
Nigerian women don't like to walk away
The title "Mrs" means much more than life to them.
Nigerian women would always search and find reasons to stay.
Most Nigerian women can't live or survive without cash inflow from husband.
The biggest, ultimate achievement of most Nigerian women is to be married.
Thus walking away is not an option. This rapist is still alive?! You've got some audacity to speak on women right now, given what you've done and currently facing. |

Fountainofyouth: Lol your point? Do you really grasp the things you type at all? You that said we shouldn't send our kids on errands because it's not safe, and I made a point to let you know that nothing is 100% safe so we make do with what we can and hope for the best, so how is that your point exactly? So I'm guessing you put yourself In unsafe situations, since afterall nothing is 100% safe? |
Family › Re: was I Wrong In Wanting To End Friendship With My Friend? by 1Sharon(f): 8:06pm On Nov 23, 2023 |
Fountainofyouth: In fact, why should we even exist at all, because we are also someone's kid, meaning no one can be 100% safe, all we can do is make the best of what we can and hope for the best. That's exactly my point. But it flew over your head. |

tollyboy5: God bless you. Whenever i want to send a child on arrand, i say "Please can you help.." If the child show some kind of discomfort i quickly say dont worry without having any bad blood. Now audacity of someone calling another mother to send her child so they could send the child errand is an insult. How are you any different? Did you ask the child's mother permission before sending on a an errand? How many kids have discomfort but don't show it? Which child likes being sent on errands? |

tollyboy5: For you to even be in a street argument might reveal the kind of person you are. So you wanted the said friend to come and fight on your behalf? It seems you don't even put on a thinking Cap. She did the right thing as your friend to calm the other woman on your behalf and calm you down later. Sorry to say that your friend is way smarter than you are. You're just feeling you're better maybe because you're more financially stable. Smart with 6 kids? And no means to train them. You may not agree with the OP but you don't need to lie. |

escapadechuks: Op doesn't sound like a very nice person.
Is her child your nanny? Or because of your small small help? Then stop helping and get yourself a personal errand person. Shior Lol. On NL, nobody agrees with sending other people's kids on errands. So who are the nigerians that are doing this in reality? |

Fountainofyouth: I asked a question, you said for kids to be safe, they shouldn't be sent on errands, so I asked that will locking them at home make them safe? And by lock I mean figuratively
And no you didn't mean your own kids, you said Africa, meaning generally, which prompted my question. Ofcourse it doesn't. But if it keeps them safer then I'm doing that. |
Family › Re: was I Wrong In Wanting To End Friendship With My Friend? by 1Sharon(f): 6:59pm On Nov 23, 2023 |
Fountainofyouth: [/b]
1st bolded, you don't care if little girls are raped in their own home?
2nd bolded does keeping children safe means keeping them locked away at home makes them safe? No silly. I don't care meaning i dont care how you take my response. So because I don't believe in sending my own kids on errands, that automatically means they are locked up at home? |

greypencils: His stories were scary men. I remember 2 in particular. One was about a woman who slowly killed her husband by adding finely grounded glass to yam flour used in preparing Amala for him. The 2nd was about a well in which a school boy fell into and died. That well continued to swallow every body who ever entered it to rescue the boy or remove his dead body. People kept going in and never came out until a ritual sacrifice was carried out to appease the deity/spirit that inhabited the well. Scary stories. Interesting days. Lol Bull. |

StJasper: Eeyah, you are such a pathetic soul!!!
One of his programs featured the story of a man from my village and I am a living witness.
There was another one about vigilante members who killed a man in Odogbolu, Ogun State. They harvested his organs.
The culprits were were released laters after interventions from prominent and powerful Nigerians.
These culprits are still alive in Odogbolu till today.
Don't think everyone is like you who lies like Linus. That's not the point. He presents stories of people with rare medical conditions as the work of juju or witches, knowing that alot of Nigerians aren't exposed would take what they don't understand as juju. Such as the man with a vagina. It's not juju, he's simply an intersex person. Why do you think he wore make-up to make himself look older? |

Coldie: You never jam.
Take it from me, cosmetics surgery is supposed to be the modification of the original, and things are modified for the better.
As a guy way don fvck different women with bbl both ass and tits from different races, I can tell u that bbl women are better by far.
A woman that goes to the extent of doing a bbl takes care of herself, women that don't care about bbl are women who pay little attention to their bodies.
If u see both of them, the difference is clear They take care of themselves? So life-threatening surgery is the only way a woman can take care of herself? What about building the body you want in the gym? You know that's possible right? |
