ok I am back. What we are currently discussing is Facebook Ads

After you have created your Facebook Page, the next thing is to start loading relevant videos to your product.

How to Source Videos
I don't think i will be able to go into details on how to create videos for your product. The easiest software you can use is Camtasia. Very easy. However, for those of you who do not have the patience to create your own video, you can head over to Youtube.com to do that. Search for videos that have relevancy to your product. Download the video.

After downloading the video, go over to your facebook page. Upload the video as a post. But here is something crucial you must do.

Take for instance, if i am into weight loss niche and probably selling waist trimming band or belt, I will probably find a video discussing or doing an exercise on belly trimming and waist trimming. In the text, i will say something like this "Wow! Exciting waist Trimming Exercise for Women. Get a waist trimming band or belt here => www.jumia.com/storename".

After doing that, I upload it to my Page. That is ready for advert.

I am still entertaining questions.

where do you buy your goods from and how do you ship it in

I make my own products. I don't buy goods to ship them in and start selling. However there is a twist to that.

You may not to import any product and still have it delivered to your buyer. That will not work with Jumia Store. In fact you will make more money on that.

I guess you buy from 1688?

what criteria do you use in picking products to sell.

I don't seem to understand you. What do you mean by 1688?

There are quite a number of criteria to consider when picking a product to sell. One of the criteria is to be passionate about the product you intend selling. Know enough about it.

Secondly, you can search a niche on the Jumia and see which product has more than 500 orders. That is another good way to know what product to sell.

So the whole idea to this method is

- Create a Jumia store
- Load your store with ur products
- Create or source a video for the kind of product you sell
- Create a Facebook Fan Page where you will be posting such videos
- Put such ad on steroids by using facebook ads.

So that is the whole idea. Let us move on to the next thing, which is creating a Fan Page on facebook.

Visit Facebook and you left, you will see "Pages". click on it and it will take you lead you to view all pages you are a member of or suggested to join. Look to your top right on that page, you will see "Create New Page". click on and follow the on screen instruction. Do have in mind that you are not opening a fan page for community but for a brand.

Once the page is open, begin to brand it with images that has to do with what u sell or your niche. if you like, invite people to join your page. They may not even be your customers. I will like to stop here.

I want to entertain questions. I will continue tomorrow when I get to work. I am the IT Admin so I can always get the chance to post.

So, your questions.

hello boss, when u wanr to,register on jumia they ask for my store in lagos how will i go about that.

I sorry I am just coming back online. They were not requesting for your store in Lagos. They are requesting for the preferred store name you want to use.

What that means is the store name customers will use to locate you on Jumia.

Now to the fun part.

I stated earlier that by default, Jumia will send sales to you but that will not be enough for you. So I will reveal one of the methods that increased sales on my store.

FACEBOOK

I heard someone say, "na wetin we dey do. what is so different?" A lot of people advertise on facebook with so much money and do not generate sales. others do not have enough money to spend. Their problem is just knowing how to target the right demographic that will be interested in your product.

So how do I get the attention of people and generate sales? Simple. I use video in my ads. Most people want to watch a video on Fb. but this time you will be posting a video that has relevancy to your product.

Secondly you will not spend up to $10 for the ads. I will show you how. Make I do dinner with family. I will be back.

Image Quality

The image quality is very important. It is possible get a photographer to snap your product with their high definition cameras, edit the image and send to you.

However, if you have good quality phone the high definition camera. you can make use of it and get it editted. But make sure the product is clear and focused on.

I am putting these rules step by step so that you will know how important it is.

How to Post your Product Title.

This is very important. If you know a little bit of SEO you will understand what I mean.

The way you structure your product will help you compete with other products in your category.

Take for instance, I am selling a waist trimmer, my title will most likely be "Get the Waist Timmer to get back in shape". Do not do the regular title of just the product. Attach a little bit of reason for them to buy your own product.

As you can see, that title appeals to a woman or lady who feels she is overweight and and wants back her feminine shape back.

Here is another example. If you are selling a Trainers canvass or shoes, you can't just put the title like that. You can have it as "Stunning Trainers for outings" or Sweet Trainers shoes to keep the girls coming".. . I am sure you understand what I mean.

This ranks quickly in the store and you get organic traffic to your store. This ordinarily will steady your sales without traffic.

Questions if there are.

Once your account has been activated and approved, you are ready to start loading your products.

I recommend the following niches. Fashion, Health Niche (especially weight loss etc) and niches that appeal to emotions. That is all I can say.

Make sure you are reasonable in fixing your price. This will encourage more sales. But at the same do not run at a loss.

Your products will require approval from Jumia. once it is approved, you are ready to go.

A reminder, do not forget to put in your bank account details in your store settings. That is the reason you are in this business. To make and get the money. The action part is coming up soon. So stay glued to this page.

If you can share the post so other people can be a part of it.

OK let the class begin.

I will be using Jumia as a case study because that is what I use.

So first things first. You will need an online store to be able to make this amount. Jumia and Konga, by default sends you orders once in a while and depending on how effective your titles are. We will come to doing this with your own online store. But let's begin with Jumia.

The first thing you need to do right now is head over to

Jumia. com .ng

Registration is free. Once you are registered, you will proceed to taking an online test.

Don't be afraid. They will take you through some couple of tutorials and the online test has to do with whether you understand everything you have learnt or not.

Once you pass that stage, you are ready to begin your cause to making money from Jumia.

Jumia pays weekly. In this vain, you need to have your product available when so that when you receive orders you will be able to package and drop it off at the closest Jumia office to you.

There is no rush. I will take it step by step.

Go and register with Jumia and get a store.

Look for a female product that is trending and post in your Jumia store. use the 20,000 to purchase it.

Sales will begin automatically but I expect you do more ads on it.

Hello everyone.

I have learnt quite a lot of things on Nairaland. Ranging from the popcorn business to t-shirt printing (in which i developed so much in). Today I make sales like anything.

I remember few weeks back asking for fund raiser for my tshirt business. I didn't get any response. I regret doing that because not too long later, someone offered to put me through to generate sales with my products.

Now i rake an average of N150,000 monthly. I am currently working on a project that i am waiting for its time to launch during the election period. I will kill it.

Anyway, i know a lot of you are on Jumia or Konga and are not making the desired sales.

If you are interested in learning, I await your responses so that we can begin. It is going to be fun.

Nice designs and prints.

There is a lot of money to be made here. I guess a lot of people think it is just fiction. This is virtually what I live on. What makes you stay in business is when the quality of your product excellent. You will naturally have return customers.

I make a lot of money from churches and private individuals. Now that the election is coming, God knows I am getting a chunk of the market too.

If you want to make a living from this and you want to know the processes involved, I am offering my training not in all printing methods but basically in the heat transfers.

My training is not free but is going to be a token that everyone can afford. I will be giving away my comprehensive e-book right away to people who opt-in to my training. This is to teach other printing methods with pictures and step by step instructions.

Like I said, it is for a token fee and not for free. Let's discuss more on my whatsapp group if you have questions. Join me now.

Business / Re: What To Do To Make Money Online? by 1stargeneral: 3:04pm On Apr 25, 2018
iykepromotions:
Edited; this thread is all about exposing one of the other ways to make money online. I don't want this thread to go far however my original thread was deleted late last week by the overzealous antibot. And I promise that this thread will be more interesting than the first thread.

Introduction;
As I write earlier this thread is focusing on how to make money with NEW and EXPIRED domain names, tips, experiences. Do and Don'ts.
It still amazes me that quite a large number of Nigerians are fully online with different devices phones and computers but yet not making money from it. Many things have changed and one of the easiest way to make money now is online. Quote me anywhere.

Now you may be asking" what is a domain name and how can I make money from it"?
Calm down
In one word a domain name is an online real estate. If you want to get a website for personal or business use, what you need first is a domain name. Just like if you want to to build a house, no matter your plans and design, you need a land first.
In other words, without a domain name there will be no website. Without a domain name there will be nothing like e-mail address. "Now how do I make money from it"? The truth is that most good domain names have been taken. ... They have all gone. For example all 3letter domains names has been taken. You can form it and confirm. The only avenue to target is expired domain names. And what is expired domain name again? These are domains that the original owners fail to renew. every domain has an expiry date. The maximum you can register a domain is 10 yr which the minimum is just 1 yr. Now if the original owner fail to renew it after the year duration, some grace period will be given after the domain will be dropped and become available for anyone to re- register and it's legal.

Now this is quite easy and anybody with the right information and tools can do it and have a wonderful result. This is from my personal experience and not a hear say. Now this is richly profitable but just like any other business it has some basic strategies and ways to do it in order to get decent result.

Questions and enquiries are welcomed.

My guy are just crazy... You blow my mind. This thread was bumped and i read through. I contacted you and you responded ASAP. I wont stop here though. Thanks for the idea.
