CastedDude: Former Governor of Abia State, Orji Uzor Kalu on Monday visited Former Military President Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida (IBB) in his country home in Minna, Niger state. Addressing journalists after meeting IBB behind closed door, Kalu said they spoke about 2019 presidential elections.
According to him, they agreed that even if President Muhammadu Buhari will not contest in 2019, the north should produce the next President.
He, however, stated that after the north Presidency, the next President in 2023 should come from other part of the country to forge cohesion, stressing that he would not mind to be a President.
The Former Governor also defended his earlier position on the disclosure that IPOB leader Nnamdi Kanu has gone to London through Malaysia.
Kalu when asked if he wants to contest the 2019 Presidency if Buhari did not run, said: “I am a Nigerian, I am entitled to it but like I will always say and I maintain my position that northerners should be allowed to complete their second term.

LordsApostle: you don't understand do you? You blacks are all savages... The only difference between those boiz and the military men are the guns they are holding, if they start insurgency those military men cannot stand them.. We should be sensible enough. The same way Boko Haram started small, these military men formed Boss and massacred them, when they came reinforced, they (military) started running and removing their uniforms, and claiming they didn't have weapons to fight. Things are not done this way, don't give people reasons to take up arms, else everyone suffers.. it's high and right time for IPOB to carry arms for self defence. let them carry arms since buhari and his fulani/hausa brothers have stylishly invaded Igbo land |

Pythondancef: I have been a silent reader on Nairaland but I had to register just to tell how disappointed I am with Buhari and the military. I have traveled far and wide and I tell you that it's very hard to see military men(in uniforms) in other countries. I traveled to the US last year and I didn't see a single soldier throughout my stay. I only saw soldiers on TV but never did I see them on the streets.
It's totally unacceptable and unconstitutional of the Nigerian Army to invade civilian areas in a show of force. You don't intimidate civilian populace with weapons, especially in an area where the tension is high. It's complete terrorism on the part of the Army and I would like to advise them to stop whatever they are doing. The police should be deployed in cases like this.
It's just like a lion threatening to eat a rat and then few weeks later the lion comes closer to the rats house all in the name of "Show of force". Don't you think the rat would attack the lion just to gurrantee its safety? Don't you think the rat has reasons to attack first because of fear? This provocation by the Nigerian Army should stop, this Biafran issue should not be escalated further. The military should leave the court to decide Kanu's fate, they cannot take laws into their own hands.
I am not a Biafran supporter in anyway. All reasonable Nigerians should be against this madness. If we don't condemn the Nigerian military now, they will do this over and over again with impunity and you wouldn't know when it's going to be your turn. You might praise the army and condemn the Igbos now, but remember that we live in a world of karma.
I agree with Falana and all Nigerians APC or PDP should do the same.. |

SaulRazor: We have already held him accountable for destroying Nigeria and our verdict is aClear clarion call that this must be his last tenure in Aso Rock.. For those of you still supporting Buhari out of misinformation, bigotry, partisanship, sectarianism or just sheer stupidity remember:
Buhari poor decision is 80 percent responsible for the current bad economy.
Remember his poor decisions are also responsible for the heavy poverty and uncertainty currently ravaging your entire lineage .
Remember that Nigeria has never been this insecure
Remember Buhari has not still visited and state outside the North except Lagos since his inauguration
Remember that for the first time on our history we have military operations going on in all 6 Geo political Zones ( this didn't even happen during the Civil War)
Remember that Buhari has not been able to drive any visible to any of his ministers till date and rarely assesses them at all and when they meet its just to gossip about politics .
Remember that there are no winners in sort of poor leadership just a 100 percent losers so we are all losers under Buhari none has won .
Finally remember to vote him out is now a CIVIC DUTY.. |

Austinogiza: The former minister of aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode, has reacted to the reported Nnamdi Kanu house arrest after the Nigerian army reportedly surrounded his house in Umuahia, Abia state.
Recall, Nnamdi Kanu’s lawyer, Ifeanyi Ejiofor had yesterday cried out to the public over concerns about the IPOB leader’s safety, claiming his client has been placed under house arrest by the Nigerian army.
Kanu’s counsel, also claimed soldiers allegedly invaded the IPOB leader’s country home in Umuahia
Now, the former minister, who took to his Facebook page condemned the action of president Muhammadu Buhari vowing to hold him responsible should anything happen to Kanu..
He wrote;
The behaviour of the military against a defenceless and unarmed civilian population in Abia state is reprehensible.
What has Nnamdi Kanu or indeed the Igbo people done to warrant this primitive show of barbarism and force? We are on the brink of a total breakdown of law and order and a prolonged and bloody armed conflict.
I urge restraint on all sides and I call on President Muhammadu Buhari to withdraw the army from the east and leave Nnamdi Kanu alone.
Terrorising your own people with soldiers is not the act of a courageous man but rather the act of a tyrant, a coward and a bully.
We call on the international community to bear witness to what is unfolding in Nigeria and we will hold Buhari responsible and accountable in the event of any loss of life.
See more at >> https://www.celebsnest.com.ng/will-hold-buhari-responsible-fani-kayode-reacts-nnamdi-kanus-house-arrest/ we warned people earlier during the tyrant dictator's election campaign, that the vegetable is an unrepentant coupist, they didn't hear.Imagine an ethnic begotry like buhari taking advice and directive from his Arewa mumu youths to arrest Nnamdi Kanu, while they walk freely in the zoogeria country. |

To belong in a country where dogs and baboons are soacked in blood is not by force.
Guns and bullets will not deter the will and determination of the people neither will dancing on the road like pythons do.
