I thought Ijaw people were from Bayelsa and Delta and we were just Kalabari . why do some people say Kalabari people are Ijaw people.

well, we are ijaws in the broad sense but with a difference. i love to think us as the educated part of the ijaws because most kalabari ppl prefer schooling. and the language is so much close but the tonation is so so different. listern to them and u will find lots of similar words.
