RomanceRe: Some Things Must Change In This Year 2015 About Our Girls by 234GT(m): 11:10pm On Jan 03, 2015
God bless you Op for this thread. These are the kind of threads that should make front page, not useless threads about the private lives of the so-called celebrities.

If this thread makes front page, at least, some of our girls will stop posing as if they are dancing to Awilo when they want to take pics! Happy new year OP, and one bottle of origin for you!

Car TalkRe: Which Is Better? Getting A Brand New Car With An Auto Loan Or Buying Tokunbo? by 234GT(m): 10:35pm On Dec 14, 2014
Assuming you have the ability to pay for the tear nylon kia outright, I would have advised you to go for it.
As it stands, buy a toks from 2005 and you won't regret it. Go with a good mecho to inspect it for you.
Moral: Brand new cars are better than tokunbo cars IF AND ONLY IF you can pay outright for it.
Why buy a car that would be worn out by the time you are completing the payment?

CareerRe: Shoul I Quit Banking To Pursue A Phd Elect Eng. by 234GT(m): 3:26pm On Nov 16, 2014
What is the fuss about lecturing self? Methinks lecturing is more risky that banking, because of cultists!

My advice is that you should stay there and hope you are promoted, while doing your further studies.

And you need to create a new love for your job. Banking is more interesting when you are still learning the ropes, but after one year, you would have mastered everything and the job becomes boring.

That is when you need to dig out a new love for your job!

Jobs/VacanciesRe: Entry Level Salaries Of Companies In Nigeria by 234GT(m): 11:26pm On Oct 11, 2014
pompido:
Well, I can tell you for a fact that this figure isn't quite accurate for Union Bank.

Union Bank offers 2.25pa before tax with 0.25 as variable income per annum based on performance. If performance isn't up to par, no variable pay.

2.25million p.a divided by 12 gives 187,500 per month. Deduct tax, pension etc. That leaves around 130 - 150k as take home. All these on a 2years bond worth 2million naira.

I think you are about right with KPMG cos I've got people in there but the beauty of Kong is the bulk payment made to staffs 4times a year (at least 400k is paid twice out of the 4times and that is to fresher).
Cheers
Union Bank has reviewed salaries twice this year, and entry level now is N3.1M! FACT!

Car TalkRe: Have You Taught A Spouse To Drive? by 234GT(m): 10:06am On Oct 07, 2014
In the early 90s, my dad taught my mum driving with the good old volkswagen beetle, and they would always end each session with quarrels.

Methinks learning to drive an auto should not be a problem sha!

Ladies don't wanna learn driving, but they enjoy being driven around lol!

FashionLadies And Luggage by 234GT(op): 9:02pm On Oct 06, 2014
Over time, I have observed that ladies always go about with one or more bags. You can't just see them without one bag or box or polybag or whatever!

I saw off my friend this evening, and I saw a girl with three bags. She was struggling under the weight of the luggage.

The question is don't ladies ever get tired of carrying stuffs? Can't you ladies just walk with both hands free?

Wetin una dey carry about?
