Can someone tell me what the new strong patch a saw in satmac is all about. (software support w3a dongle twinp and microbox)

It works with strong STB by connecting to w3a for keys through serial port. Note, you must connect to LNB pointing to w3a.
In short it's works in similar way with internet key sharing stb's.

I've been looking for it but not successful yet. Maybe brothers up north can be of help, because it's widely used in Turkey, Middle East & North Africa.  Anybody with information on where to purchase please indicate

I'm not sure you'll need keys to open most of the stations on african beam on w3a.
Maybe where the dongle will come useful is europe A & B stations which include opensky,
digiturk, skydsl, etc. But you'll need to bring the signals in first.

working on getting the dongles to naija, the problem right now is the feasibility, the dongle needs access to certain tp on W3 and W6, and those tps right now are not even receivable on 2.4m dishes. here they are

W3= 11283v 27500 and 11262h 27500
w6 = 11617v 26500. anyone with green on any of this tp should let me know asap.

From my location (36.49East, 1.17South), it should be possible to receive the Europe-B beam on W3A easily with a 2.4m pan dish and the right LNB. Check: _http://www.lyngsat-maps.com/maps/ew3a_eurb.html_). There are at least 13 Turkish FTA channels on that beam. For now I am limited for space and can only use up to 90cm. Will try later at a different location / residence. Eurostar 2.4m dish is easily available here for US$150. The Fuji LNB may be available for US$40. However, the TPs you have mentioned are on the Europe-A beam which might prove tough to track. May need up to 6m dish!!

I later found out that it is all the tps on former ab4 which were moved to AB4a that
are affected by this signal loss palava. Can you believe I lost more than 100 stations
due to this change in satellite configurations? Before rain shifted my dish, I could only
get signals from nilesat 101 & 102. At the last count I was recieving only about 293
to 303 stations instead of almost 383 stations when old AB4 was available.
Let's see if I can bring in any of those former tps from ab4 in this new re-alignment
and finetunning exercise

Please don't misunderstand me. That was directed at Olofofo, what i mean is that the microbox dongle also works with Intel10.02 The Picture of the microbox dongle is posted earlier and Olofofo said it can only be used on the following transponders and sats

I've seen in some forums that it also works with Intel10.02 that's why i posted that.

The dongle enables your receiver to act live an internet key sharing receiver, that is it receives keys through the internet, but in this case you don't need internet. the dongle receives the keys from the above mentioned sats and sends to the receiver which then decodes the channels.

@ George D- like i told u,i received ab4 signal 10758 on my last nile installation here in ph. But the amazing thing is that the signal would not come more than 56% with 4m dish. Another thing is that the alignment is no more the same with nilesat 101 and 102, u ve to move the dish slightly down before signal will pop up.

some of us in the south west excluding lagos and ogun as confirm by obnelly and tox can pick the ab4 with ease to precise ilesa and osogbo in osun state. The only thing is that you need to move your dish a step or 2 down to receive it. transponder 10758 come for 72%,10930 that brings Espn comes for 62%,10911Euronews for60%,10775 Nicklelodeon 60%

as anybody been able to convert dead irdeto card to coco. i observed that all the emulation cards like gamma, abracadabra and coco went dead the same time on sunday when the Man utd match was on. pls can Badaru confirm if the one he is using as explain by olason was on then.

There is a certain model of comstar dish 2.4 in the market ,pole mount, dont buy the signal on nile is not more than 1.8m dish.
