jneutron4000: IF any SA cities have just half of the pressure Lagos is dealing with it terms of population and mass migration from Ibos and Hausa/Fulanis which in turns has a massive negative effects on public infrastrutures trust me their cities will become. If you check the population of Johannesburg it about 6million and Lagos is more than 20 million and even smaller than Johannersburg in term of land mass. There is no way Lagos can be well organized if migration into Lagos is not controlled, Lagos used to be well organized when we had regional government in 1950s. If you read thru their tweets, they are blaming high migration of Nigerians into johannesburg which is true. Even New York City, NY population is not half of Lagos population and NY is very dirty. So organisation also has to deal with controlling the migration of the people. You need to work on yourself. Every Nigerian can live anywhere. Let the relevant agencies be functional and all will be fine. |

Ilaumoh: I believe the duty of government is to create enabling environment for investors, in which this include good road network, security and other infrastructure. Is not totally the duty of a state government to build industries but the are even doing that too. Goto link below for update

https://allafrica.com/stories/201902060333.html I believe there should be more pressing issues in Akwa Ibom more deserving of funds. Akwa Ibom has enough roads. There are no pressure on your roads and infrastructures generally. The infrastructures in Akwa Ibom are Ok. This new developments seem a waste. And there are no assurances that Investors will flood in because you built roads and flyovers. |

Look at the sparsely populated environment and tell me what vehicular traffic warrants such infrastructure. Can the money be used for something more pressing and/or beneficial.
Why do people who suddenly struck wealth resort to wastages. |

backbone503: But why should a court issue an order that contravenes with a Party's constitution. In the absence of the National Chairman, APC's (like all political party's) constitution stipulates that Deputy National Chairman from the Chairman's region (in this case, South i.e. Senator Abiola Ajimobi) steps in. That judge should be reported to the NJC. The Oshiomhole faction made the same arguments and lost. So keep calm and enjoy the drama. |

Abagworo: Not exactly true. Chinese are a million times richer than Africa but know how to harness business opportunities from us. Truth is that Akwaibomites are far more hardworking and innovative than Rivers people. Akwaibom of today is even Richer than Rivers if oil is the standard applied but they don't sit down and depend on what will come out as handout from oil exploration companies. Some Rivers people especially Ogoni and Etche are hardworking too but most others believe they are comfortable with handouts. If you say they are more hard-working and innovative, list the names of their innovations and also the names of their hard workers. Let's compare. |
