Hello doctors in the house, please after flushing the tubes.. what next.. cause i had myomectomy early this year, then september.. flushing of tubes. Also, i noticed my cervical fluid isnt the same.. i have not noticed the healthy cervical fluids (JUST CREAMY AND NOT STRETCHY).... and have been battling infections back to back.. like all this fishy smell. Good morning ma, the next best thing to do after flushing the tube is to allow yourself some rest and some few weeks more check again for its patency. This does not in anyway stop sexual intercourse provided you are okay with it.

A creamy vaginal discharge although a cycle may exhibit anovulation as the case may be. When have you been experiencing such discharges?
Causes to it may be hormonal or PID. You may need check with your doctor on how to help with overcoming this problem.
Fishy smell with the vaginal exudate may likely be infection due to Bacterial vaginosis or E coli,or Chlamydia trachomatis in case of PID.
Ensure to visit a medical laboratory centre to have your vaginal discharges and urethral swab to know the cause(s) of it. Follow sensitivity as due both in medications and duration.

1. Diet:

ii.) Less intake of fatty food may also reduce high blood cholesterol in the long run.

iii.) Vegetable diet can be of help too.

How are errors made?

Errors are made:

1. Time before taking the specimen.
2. Time during taking the specimen
3. Time between taking the specimen and specimen analysis.

1. TIME BEFORE TAKING THE SPECIMEN(ERROR)

This kind of error is common and prevalent with the Subject. So if I am going to have a test done on me I should ensure to avoid these errors done on myself so as not to have the Doctor interpret it to affect me negatively.
Now,what are those errors you and I make before setting off for the lab? The common errors are;

I.) Eating before going to the lab.

Are you surprise? Yes! It is correctable error. Correctable error in the sense that we can actually avoid it. Why is eating before going to the lab an error?
At any moment between when you wake up and 8.00a.m,the body is usually at its functional state that has it hormones and enzymes at a common frame of reference. Eating food will have a choice of secreting higher than expected some enzymes and hormones. Therefore, this could serve as an error especially if you will be going for blood sugar,or insulin and many others.

ii.) Time

It is appropriate all test and analysis of body fluid and specimen be done at most 8.00 a.m in the body. Doing specimen above such time may lead to errors in analysis to reproductive hormones and as well as stress hormones and enzymes owing to digestion. Also,not noting changes in cycles in human species and as well age can lead to serious errors in fluid analysis.

iii.) Exercise.

Any form of exercise or stress is liable to cause changes in energy enzymes,stress hormones and others. This is another reason why core laboratory operators should kindly not entertain analysing specimen after long hours into the day. It is common to see that woman or that man coming to the lab by 12p.m to have his hormone checked or blood sugar. This will only lead to error.

iv.) The use of medications:

The use of some medications can alter result Analysis of specimen. It is not possible to go around all drugs regarding the scope set before us. However, before going for a laboratory run on your fluid it is on your side to tell the laboratory scientists the medications you are in.

There are other errors done although not common with subjects.

Now,errors own to the Chemical pathologist and laboratory scientists are:

2) Errors during taking of specimen
3)Errors between taking specimen and specimen analysis.

i.) Identity error:

This error is common with both the subjects and laboratory operators. The problem with identifying more than one subjects with same surname and second name. This problem is usually done before specimen or even after specimen collection. As a subject,it is expected of you to always identify yourself with more than a name. Give your surname,a middle name and a third name. It matters.

ii.) Wrong tube labelling:

This is also problem with identification. Identifying a tube with a wrong name niche with a test or a test with a wrong naming is a fatal error. Let all this be done and always alert the operator of any missing when spotted.

iii.) Using of wrong anticoagulant tube bottle:
Applying the wrong anticoagulant tube bottle in most cases can serve as a dicey error. For example, a subject complains of weak heart beat,lethargy and lassitude and a doctor ask for analysing covering plasma phosphate and potassium. If a wrong anticoagulant bottle was used,this may cause destruction of red blood cells and white blood cells leading to high blood potassium and phosphate which may really not be.

iv.) Posture:

Posturing duirng taking of specimen matters too. For all specimen to be taken,it is expected that the subjects should have a sit. Standing causes a plasma loss of almost blood constituent in some percentage. Always remind your laboratory chief of sitting whenever he wants to have venopuncture. It will help for a good result.

v.) Venopuncture:

When your laboratory chief need to have a blood smear especially from the cubital fossa. He will tie a cuff around the arm to prevent bleeding. But for some unforseen reason or attending to more than one station the cuff may be left for more than 1mins. This act can lead to serious error in many blood constituents and as well as some enzymes. So when that cuff is being long tied,you may remind your laboratory chief of not using that arm and even wait for some time before carrying a venopuncture on the other arm.

vi.) Handling of Blood testtube:

For some eventuality, subjects these days have had reasons to carry their blood specimen from one distance to the other. This itself can cause error in specimen analysis. With much shaking of Blood,Blood formed element can pass out quickly leading to high plasma range some elements and others.

There many other errors. However, these are the common few the scope of this post of mine can carry.

It is really not a big one as worth a timely removal but for its location. Being that the uterus(womb) is located between the bladder(in front) and the rectal canal(backward),a fibroid mass situated at that location may cause up-down exertion that may be responsible for your inability to hold urine for the normal time. Size is relative to both structure and symptoms and complications. In this case the latter comes in. Thus, For the sake of comfortability,you are admonished to have it removed.

I have degenerative disc that causes severe pain which had made me become a regular patient of physiotherapist but the pain still occurs .i have taken pain reliver to the extent that some are not even effective for my system again. So I was advised to go for herbal supplements.

Sir, I will prefer you continue patiently with your physiotherapist. DDD ain't really that easy to walk off to mire with respect to the fact that your daily stress output is always a challenge to its management. Therefore, I think the need to continue with the therapy. You may discuss the option of surgery or Epidural Steroid injection with a specialist too,these have prove helpful for many with DDD.

As regarding herbal use,I have no info on it. You may check with any Herb clinic and massage houses for any help. Just ensure to play safe with your health and part less with your money.

I prefer you do a urine MCS or a urethral swab to know the cause to the pain around your penile zone and then the groin. Examining the groin area or the scrotal sac may also be necessary.

Also important in line to discuss with your doc should be this issue of premature ejaculation,he may choose to know if it has been there before the pain. He may also discuss it down with you to know if it is familial,acquired or behavioral. Then comes the treatment and management.

There is no best supplement for infertility. Treatment is usually given in line to the cause of the infertility. You may have to make an appointment with the doctor to know the root cause to your not carrying pregnancy. This is better and cheaper than going the back door.

Also, it is not advisable to take treatment to any infection without any test done. You may have to do a test to know the cause of your infection and when this is done,some sensitivities will be written for it.

First,what is infection?
An infection in simple sense means colonisation. This act of colonisation is primary to pathogenesis that comes from it. In other words we are all infected by normal resident floras of the body,we have them on our skin,mouth,anus,vagina,stomach,small intestines and what have you. A bacteria-human relationship is normal for most bacteria until something comes up to. Now,for example S. aureus and S. epidermidis are normal resident floras of the skin,conjunctiva, mouth,vagina etc. Their infection with human does not lead to a disease state until something comes up to alter the state of their relationship. For example this could be extreme use of antibiotics,or being a diabetes,or a fall in the body innate immunity or probably having this flora translocated where they shouldn't be. This will override the normal colonisation or primary state of infection into a secondary pathogenic one. Then, S. epidermidis and S. aureus that weren't causing normal disease state turn up problematic. Let me end here.
Also,from former post I don't think I wrote anywhere that S. aureus weren't disease forming bacterial species. They do. But as regarding the cause to infertility, they rarely are or don't at all.

It colonises the vag.ina and the vulvar in cohort with other organisms. It is stained in culture wrongly done.
If you have problem with having pregnancy, it is ideally not hanging on S. species cause they rarely are.

My question is this: is there any supplement one can take to strengthen a weak knee joint that dislocates easily? My sister needs this help and It pains me to see her suffer.
