FamilyRe: Can Marriage Survive Without Children by 2dye4(m): 6:58pm On May 27, 2007
@Billgatesfan:

i was "almost" suprised @ ur post, until i discovered u had successfully managed to sidetrack the topic and put up an epistle of ur vast knowledge of God and his workings!

if u were shedding more lite on your following equation: WORK FOR PAY=SEX FOR BABIES, this post would have been worth it.

also i still stand against your mis-interpretation of "tree not bearing fruits being cut down", bros that had nothing to do with sex!

Anyway, i'll pass on any other theory u have since it's either u manage to twist the little u know or u know too much that u know confuse urself. One love bro wink
FamilyRe: Can Marriage Survive Without Children by 2dye4(m): 12:46pm On May 26, 2007
@Bill gates Fan:

your theories and proposition on this topic are rather interesting!

u made mention of trees that dnt bear fruit being cut down, bros that phrase in the bible had nothing to do with sex and baby makin, it was more of a spiritual admonition for christains to bear fruits of righteousness.

also equating work for pay as the same as sex for babies is wow! i guess if u still decided to romp with ur wife @ 60, a baby must be on the way!

With respect to God telling Adam and Eve to multiply the earth, that was God's instruction to them at the begining (old testament), Jesus's instruction is for all to be fishers of men, bringing the Gospel to all and sundry (multiplication in the new testament).

trust me, there's more to life than multiplying the world's population. wink
FamilyRe: Can Marriage Survive Without Children by 2dye4(m): 1:37pm On May 25, 2007
It would it be fair to say those challenged when it comes to pro-creation are not eligible for marriage? "NO"

Marriage, first of all is about love & companionship, kids are added benefits from God.
If kids were the underlining factor for d survival of any marriage, then how do you explain the kids that products of broken homes? huh

Yeah joy thanks for the enlightenment,
i think your right by giving us more insight on the ARM funds & IBTC , they r the best means of diversification in the investment world.

But we should Know that when u buy a unit for N100 and its now worth N307, whao u can t compromise that for a whooping 200% return. imagine if u had put in a N500k then now you're strictly a millionaire , u worth N1.5m this is not by chance its real.

please people investment in the ARM Aggressive Growth Investment.
@eniboy: Little wonder u canvass for pple to invest in the AGI, You work for ARM rite?
no wahala, we know where ur loyalty lies! wink

@sweet: ur welcome.

i already av investments with ARM (AGI to be precise). My acc exec is a lady by the name Florentine Ondoa. she's very nice and intelligent. Am pretty impressed with the returns so far. am also thinking about the direct debit option but i understand it only works for GTB and FirstBank. cheers

@Sweet: Lauryn is entitled to her opinion. thats the way she sees it, simple.

@poster: He doesnt talk? most men don't talk, they act! From his tip that u should go to greener pastures, this is an act and an indicator that he is not devoted to u and neither his he planning to be soon (trust me if u leave him, he will get over u like a bad habit) . u can follow the path of patience (like some say) or u wake up from this bad dream! wink

@Dis guy: ur welcome

Funds are not traded on the stock exchange, likewise it is regulated by SEC (Securities Exchange Commission) & not the NSE (Nigerian Stock Exchange) so u don't require a broker. all you have to do is walk into the offices of this investment managers and purchase the funds and u will be assigned an accounts executive to be in charge of ur portfolio.

@Tonim:

Other funds :
-coral growth fund
-Nig fund (Fidelity)
-Legacy fund
-Vintage fund (Oceanic) etc.

But IBTC and ARM are basically the top of the range ( they are the only 2 funds accredited for PFA's to invest in).

Dis Guy:
I think ibtc are obvious the leading fund managers *

When last time i checked their price it was in the region of 5,000 something now its 10,000+
I read that gtb and some other bank pulled out of arm discovery fund, their price is a bit reasonable jsut that they don't seem to be bothered about the website, very old data
u av a point, but don't be hasty to hinge performance on price ( i bought IBTC when it was N1500 way back). if i bought a unit of IBTC @ 5K and its now 10k over a period of 2 years and also purchase a unit of ARM fund @ N100 and its now N290 over the same period, going by the rate of return , the ARM fund actually yielded more than the IBTC fund.

Also on the story behind GtBank and ARM, ARM was a subsidiary of GTB until there was a management buy out like 2 years ago, but it has nothing to do with the relationship btwn both companies as ARM still holds is fund in GTB's account.

InvestmentRe: Best Nigerian Mutual Funds To Invest In? by 2dye4(m): 3:22pm On May 20, 2007
@ Dis Guy: how it works?

Simple. mutual funds are pooled funds (a collection of investors pulling their resources together), its is given to the investment manager who carefully selects the stocks that the porfolio will be diverted to. Units are alloted to the investors based on their contribution to the pool (they usually have a minimum initial capital). The price of the fund go up or down everyday as the stocks which the portfolio holds are re-valued everyday. exit is easy as you dont need a broker to sell of ur units,all u do is fill a redemption form and payments will be made to u. there are other conditions attached to funds (dividend is tax free etc) so jst check out their sites to know more.
InvestmentRe: Best Nigerian Mutual Funds To Invest In? by 2dye4(m): 3:12pm On May 20, 2007
i will recommend both IBTC equity fund and ARm agressive growth fund. they both are purely equity based and they give excellent returns in terms of capital appreciation and dividend payout. i suggest you log on to their sites to find out more. wink

RomanceDesperate Measure: Did This Guy Go Too Far? by 2dye4(op): 1:38pm On May 17, 2007
i don't know what the limits are but u guys should read this:

A friend of mine is dating this lady, though he wasn't so into her from day one (she made all the moves & did all the chasing) he later decided to give it a shot. it was cool initially until her arrogance(her folks are filthy rich) and possessiveness ( + constantly demanding marriage) became 2much. Knowing who she was, my friend knew dat dischargin her would be difficult so he decided on a desperate measure; he met with her and told her there's a truth that she's unaware of, he claimed he once had a mental condition for which he was hospitalised and that he still trips once in a while!

Guess what? it worked!! The girl broke into tears, broke off the relationship and left for London. My concern is what if this lady goes about telling everybody and anybody that he was once mad? (which she can), with the gravity of this lie, wouldnt there be consequences?
RomanceRe: The Boy Must Provide A Boy by 2dye4(m): 1:04pm On May 17, 2007
U guys are not gettin d brother, the problem is not with procreation (which he can have with any lady), its with an untimely weddlock. Yes, he's 25, did anyone ask if he has a job , if he able to take on the responsibility and challenge of raising a home for the anticipated "grand child". His rush and effort would also be in vain if after all said and done the child is a female! (when d grand parentals want a son). what about love? cos marriage aint all about kids u know. i suggest u call ur parents and the so-called family elders not to live their desires off u cos its ur life not theirs and u face the gains and consequences alone @ the end of the day wink

i don't know what you meant by nelly furtado's song, but musicians are in to make money. celebrities talk about love, act it and sing it , but hardly know what it means. they have the highest break up/divorce rate in the world. As for me my magic stick does not get up when I am in deep financial stress. I don't know about.
Let me help you out. my reference to that song is not in any regard to the credibility of the musician as an expert on matters of the heart (by the way, she didn't write the song), also that musicians are out to make money does not totally mean of they are entirely shallow. the logic is simple, "is cutting your head of the ultimate remedy for a migraine"? after coming this far on lovers lane with the lady, he thinks reverting back to tha "good ol' friendship" is the way out of his issues? my apologies, but that's so lame!

as for you "King Kong" being down when ur broke, i think therapy mite help. grin
