RomanceRe: My Boyfriend Wants To Be 'Just Friends' by 2dye4(m): 8:03am On May 17, 2007
relationships are like roller coaster rides, with ups and downs, did he not know that? he got issues with his job, so what? his that enouf reason to get rid of the best thing he's got? ( supposedly you), and lose it all?

have you heard the song by nelly furtado:

, flames to dust, lovers to friends, why do all good things come to an end?

trust me on this, when a guy wants this, its usually the end. just move on

CareerRe: Is This Marketing Job Worth It? by 2dye4(m): 4:27pm On May 15, 2007
@eraymond: Welcome to the World of Marketing. I dont intend to scare you but its no tea party.

Things to consider:

1. is this line ur passion or ur jst browsing?
2. Is the "Target" realistic to u or its just 2 overwhelming?
3. are there facilities in place to help aid the job(i.e pool car, phone etc)?
4.  do you have leads u can follow or ur entirely clueless as to how to go about it?
5.  what is the pay structure (Salary, commission etc)
6. is this your first job offer ever?

Now bros,

if this is not ur interest, don't bother cos there will be no drive and u will out @ d slightest pressure

if the target scares the hell out of you, you wont even appreciate d gentle breakthru's u make

if the are no faclities, my brother, it is SUFFER HEAD.

if ur human network is not all that, then be prepared to "cold call" (success rate:3/10)

if this is your first offer and u r not into it (MARKETING), then dnt bother using it as work experience cos it will influence all other opportunities you get.

Think about if carefully cos anything worse than having nothing (a job) is having what u dnt want.

trust me, cos am speaking from experience! wink
Music/RadioRe: West African Idols: Season 1 (2007) by 2dye4(m): 7:06am On May 15, 2007
Double N:
there was a guy from Ghana called Jarry who sang with more passion than any of the contestants and yet he was voted off
Wow, thot i was da only one who noticed the incredible talent possessed by the Jarry guy,Nana made a comment that if people could get over his looks, they would vote him in, obviously they couldnt (even Nana couldnt) and that we ended up with people like Eric! am so glad his gone like yesterday grin
Music/RadioRe: West African Idols: Season 1 (2007) by 2dye4(m): 5:31pm On May 14, 2007
well what can i say, last week's show proves that things are not always what they seem.

What happened to Timi?? did he suddenly lose his invincibility or was it too much confidence?
his performances were totally unbecoming & unpardonable, even the shout from the crowd culdnt hide his cracked performance.

Omawumi was off the hook!!!!!!!!!!!!!! damn, am so grateful that she stayed this long for us to see the best come out of her. one thing is for sure, she has grown. She handled Faith hill's "Cry", Gloria Gaynor's "i will survive" and Natasha Bedingfield's "i bruise easily" with so much elegance and confidence.

Eric, Eric, Eric!!!!! i wasnt fooled on minute by all that "fine boy, no talent" demeanor of his. Gosh, the reeks like an over stretched violin chord! it makes me sick to my stomach.

Temitayo, well she's cool and i like her personality but i vocal range really is not all that.

i really miss jodie and i cant still believe she didnt make it 2 the tope 5, but i know she got what it takes to be a star!

badesemowo:
Thanks people,

I went to CTO yesterday , spoke to two other internet providers

1. IPNX had a good package , I don't need a mast in my house , but they have a maximum download of 6GB per month,
2. Directonpc did not have a price list for me to compare.

3. Another option might be Starcomms EVDO.

Anybody has any experience with these other guys?

I presently use starcomms dial up ,
@badesemowo:
i was also at d CTO @ muson and i was pretty impressed by what i saw @ the swift stand. they allowed me a demo and it was fast (even  with video streaming). though i have cost concerns about their packages, if what i saw is what am getting, then its worth it. think its time i ditched my multilinks. wink

- starcomms evdo: i have concerns about it, also looking for more opinions on it.
Christianity EtcRe: Interfaith Marriages? by 2dye4(m): 12:38pm On May 12, 2007
Seun:
Each religion is designed to unite its followers against followers of all other religions. Religion is divisive.

Despite being an atheist, I can marry a Christian or Muslim lady who doesn't take religion too seriously. wink
@Seun: are u an atheist?

marriage is about union but also hinged on love & sacrifice. if both partners are of different faith, one should notbe coherced into bulging against their wish. if that mutual understanding cantbe reached , then dont bother!

FamilyRe: My Fiancee's Parent Says "No" by 2dye4(m): 10:36am On Apr 19, 2007
@richlaw

what ur friend's parents are suggesting is diabolical and rather unbecoming of would-be-inlaws! from this, the lady can tell the kind of advice they would give their son on other critical issues should she get married to him.
if the intentions are rite, but the approach is wrong, then the whole idea is WRONG!

As for ur friend, hell wont freeze ova if he doesnt marry this lady, life would definitely go on.
