ur friend cannot attest as a matter of fact that the girl does not love the uk guy anymore, neither can he expressly determine how much she loves him (he aint psychic), the only thing he can guarantee is his love for her (this obviously xplains her confusion)

am nt surprised @ d reaction of the parentals, wht did he expect? i suggest that ur friend does not pressure her but let her take her time & decided wht its gonna be. (that she accepted his ring mite av bin ot of convinience and not conconviction)

una don come oo! when it comes copying the west in other aspects of their culture (i.e. the way they talk, dress, etc) we dnt av a problem with that, bt when it comes a decent proposal, that wan pass u abi? Its good to know the rule of law did prevail and the supreme court should be commended. However, between Atiku & Yar Adua, i do not see any credible and eligible president-in-the-making. Yar-Adua obviously had never nursed any presidential ambition and obviously is been spoonfed(by bros Sege), what happened to pple like Donald Duke?(i guess the party politics outweighed his ambitions), and Atiku on the other hand was a former member of this evil camp and the he decided to switch sides like gemini & the persecution from above (bros Sege) does not absolve him either. i come from a planet where Grey does not exist, its either BLACK or WHITE. 4rm the last count i did, 65% of my friends are from polygamous set ups. most of them have their mums outside the matrimonial homes afta the poor women could take no more, yeah, the kids (my friends) look alrite on the outside, but internally they are really damaged and one confession they all have is that their kids must not go through the same. in polygamy, there the few cool moments, (even a mad man gets those moments) but everything else is perpetually damned.
