AbaganaMiracle: Kaikai ogogoro drinker, keep waiting for us to come and appease you fools to come out and agitate for your freedom. Imagine taking stupidity to the highest level. Did you see anyone begging Akwa Ibom and Cross River people to cue into the business of liberating themselves?
Only you Ijaws and Ogoni people behaves likes fools and children waiting to be rescued from the hands of the jaaanjaweed marauders, but i am glad that through the recent investigation carried out by IPOB, many of you are now coming back to your senses and joining in what we are doing to free our land. I repeat that we do not beg anybody. Hear me well. IPOB doesn't beg any idiot to join in the liberation effort. If you don't want freedom, stay back and get slaughtered by the invading jaaanjaaweed. Nonsense!! If you can bend your back enough you can actually suck your d&ck, madafaka! |

If not for Santa Nigeria would have still had its regions intact. How come Ojukwu was a regional governor even after the death of Ironsi? |

AbaganaMiracle: Some of you are daft. Do you actually think that anyone will beg you to fight for your own freedom? What do you mean by the above bolded? Who suggested to Ojukwu of the name Biafra? It was an Ijaw man named Frank Opigo. Google it. There was Eastern consultative assembly made up of Chiefs, Elders, and Representatives of all the twenty provinces of the then Eastern nigeria which included Ijawland. They reached a resolution together albeit within a short period because of the situation at hand then and gave Ojukwu the mandate to declare Biafra. Read here: https://www.dawodu.com/erca.htm
Which other consultation did you need and what for? Are you a child that waits to be catered for. We are talking about your freedom here and you are asking to be consulted before you can cue into what's been done to rescue you from been murdered and your land taken over. Don't join, we don't beg anyone. Rather stay there and be annihilated by the invading marauders from the foot hills of the futa jalon. Stfu bitch! |

EmekaChiwe: IPOB love when white men decides their case for them. Because 3 white men talked about biafra or ipob on zoom call does not mean the United states government supports their decision. Bitch! Your independence in 1960 started similarly by one or two persons recognizing the people's grievance and with time it became a discourse and until now the result is history. It may be just 3white men now, but given time it would become majority. And then the results will come. |

BKayy: "There is life outside Nairaland" The statement above is for those that are deceived by "we the SS crooners" and "I am from SS and we are not Biafrans" noisemakers. Those confusing you people are hiding in Lagos and other dens in Afonja land typing nonsense. Some even add local dialect to buttress their confusion but in reality they have never stepped foot into their village to check what's up. Now that the show down is real, they should get off Internet and confront them with their own guns not disturbing us. In Nairaland, there are people from SS that are against Biafra and hate Igbo people with passion but in reality, there is nothing like SS apart from Bayelsa and parts of Delta state (Warri axis) that openly use the term but the rest are core Biafrans, more dedicated to struggle than Ndigbo People are beginning to join the Biafra movement even here in Bayelsa state. Our grievances was toward and Ironsi who arrested and sentenced Adaka Boro, and the maltreatment of the ijaws before and during Biafra war. If we had been treated well and consulted even at the time of Biafra war, then one nigeria would have been history. But it is all good now, we never gained anything from one Nigeria and so we will take another direction. |

Lazycapitalist2: No sport fan, i would have encouraged them to use the democratic process to fight for their rights
Which is what they did. And still do.
Democracy is not by big gesture but by hours upon hours of ploddingthankless work There is a theory in developmental communications. It has to do with learning from the mistakes and successes of other developed countries to fast track development. But as a shithole we lack that ability for critical thinking to use available methods that have been tested and proven. Democracy has gone beyond this your argument of using hours upon hours of ploddingthankless work. Countries have spent hours and hours of work and have realised the simplest ways of achieving results without wastage of time, resources and people. They have told us that without peace, justice and fairness, democracy can never work. They have told us that tyranny can never succeed. they have said power truly belongs to the people. They have said peaceful protests must be allowed, if not anarchy would come. They have said for democracy to strive, the people must at all time have a choice in any union, and the referendum and self determination must be allowed. They have said corruption must be killed or it will kill the people. They equally said, quality education must be available for all. There must be freedom of speech, life, association, e.t.c. You don't expect democracy to work in this country when all known tenets of democracy are abused by those who ought to uphold it. |

Lazycapitalist2: Well the American constitution once did not allow blacks, native Americans and Asians to have citizenship
That is no longer the case thanks to people who were ready to do the hard work of pushing back against a corrupt and racist establishment to change things
But you want someone to come and so do every thing for you. If you were around the time the massive agitations for equal rights for blacks started in the US and the inconveniences as a result, I believe you would have antagonised them and asked that status quo remains because of the little comforts you enjoy. |

Well, if the protests for secession succeeds in making our leaders to sit up and amend unfavorable aspects of the law, then it is a win win. Someone has to do some about the plight of the common man. If you believe in dialogue and the use of legislature to change the affairs of the corntree, then fine. You can just start your own movement towards that effect and stop antagonising others who have found a means to achieving peace and development for himself and others. |

ObalaEmma: When we stop using a stick and torch approach to important issues or when we face our deep problem and stop stealing from each other.
Nigeria as of now remain a big stealing country where the criminal do anything to keep his theft and activities going. Colonials stealing from their colony, tribes stealing from tribe, goverment stealing from thier citizens, the judiciary is huge stealing platform, lecturers stealing from their student, parent stealing from their children. There is no justice at all as those that will change things are the one making it worse. Unfortunately, the youth are divided along ethnic line, stomach infastructure while middle class is written class completely .
There is no real solution till we are tired of taking from one another and call for genuie agreement that is backed with strong laws . We never had a genuine person who understood leadership. Our leaders since the coming of the colonial bastards have fashioned leadership in the style of the colonial bastards. In the same manner the kings and chiefs and influencial men sold us to those white men into slavery is same thing happening. Our leaders are so much in love with the wicked style of leadership by the colonial bastards. They saw the profit in enslaving the poor masses. That profit making system by the white bastards is replicated after gaining independence from the white man. We are now being colonised by our own black leaders. The poor masses have always been the victims. |

MaxInDHouse: That's to show you that we are not some robots or programmed dummies, each of us has his own mind but it's the Holy Spirit that makes it possible for imperfect humans to come together and start reflecting the qualities of God: like LOVE, JOY, PEACE, PATIENCE, GOODNESS, GENTLENESS, FAITH, MILDNESS and SELF-CONTROL {Galatians 5:22-23} Jesus immediately refute the utterance of a man who labeled him as "good teacher" {Luke 18:18-19} the reason is because it's God (who is good) that's teaching us how to be good. So despite the fact that as imperfect humans we often commit blunders but when we converge in His name {Act 15:14} His Spirit will take over the gathering and you'll begin to observe Godly qualities not in each of us because we are imperfect but in the congregation as one big body! Ephesians 4:12
May you have PEACE! Amen, and thank you. But, I am surprised at this your reply. I have been following your post and at a point I thought you all are perfect. I never saw this imperfect aspect in any of your projections. I have known quite a number of JWs and am very welcoming to them too as they come to preach to me. At no time have I seen perfection in them. In fact one of them who was my neighbour and always kept distance with everyone else except her JW brethrens, not long ago was helped by me. I met her daughter buying ulcer drugs and I asked who needed them and she said her mother needs them. I had to tell her to leave it and I followed her to the house and met with her and I told her to pluck and chew a particular flower. And she did and got relieve immediately. In fact she always thanks and greets me everytime she sees me unlike before. So, what I mean in essence is that, there is this perception you all project like the only perfect and chosen people of God that kinda of makes me a little reserved about the JW. I think we are all imperfect people, and for those who confess that and accept Jesus stand a chance to be saved. |

When I finally caught up with him, he said he couldn't find the particular screen for the phone. So then, I asked him to give me back the money and the phone. He said, okay but that he has put the money in one "akawo", i.e a local piggibank style where putting put their money in the custody of someone else who in the end of agreed period would collect a commission from the money.
