Guy, I served in the Yoruba aspect of kogi state, Ijimu L.G.A. Some of them deny being Yoruba, while some accept it and praying to join their kinsmen. It is not bad if Igbo's wants their brothers and sisters to join. I for one would be okay if they don't take anyone along besides the five states. But those who choose to join would be taken.

Odi massacre made me hate Nigeria. I was very young when it happened. When it was happening and the gunshots and artilleries were being fired like two countries were in war, my father had to take me and my siblings immediately for Ekpesu fortifications along side others to become impenetrable to gun bullets. Then we tied red clothes round our foreheads. Some of us who knew how to shoot were given weapons. And then we waited for the approaching army. Although they never came to our community, that experience left an everlasting trauma. Damn, I was too innocent and young for that shit. That shit almost made me a gangster. Later on, when I watched the Odi massacre videos where the houses were all burnt down with the elderly ones and very young infants who couldn't run all killed, I was very angry. And so I promised myself to hate this country which did this evil to defenceless people. Because I can't forgive a country that would use that amount of military force on her own citizens, not even a foreign enemy country.
