eskober:No wonder your wife is controlling you. Grow up man. |
eskober:You are stupid for saying I don't have sense. FYI I deleted my comment |
Xx |
jidestroud:Guy go and collect your phone. There is nothing like love here and please do not get back with her no matter what she tells you. She is a gold digger and want you for what ever she can get from you. |
Imoy:What do you know about Chemical Engineering? It is better not to comment on what you don't know anything about. |
InyinyaAgbaOku:All what you quoted above are elementary physics and chemistry. |
Written by a woman to make men do their bidding. |
real22:For the fact that I have the money is enough reason to waste it on a show off when the money can be used for something else while the woman dictating have nothing to contribute but her demands. You demand for a man to do everything then request for equality from thesame man. Don't you think that is double standard? |
real22:And how much does the woman have to contribute for the wedding while dictating to the man to have between 1.5 and 2 million naira for a wedding that add no value and probably push him into debt? |
xxxxx |
This is why I am against marriage in the west. All the woman does is nothing but bi.tc.h about everything the man does why expecting the man to slave his life for her and the kids. The good thing is that men are beginning to observe the anomaly and avoiding marriage to their women so as to live a better peaceful and fulfilled life. Marry at your own peril |
2legit2qwt:Still not the point. Not everybody is desperate to go abroad like your earlier post says. That is what I am trying to address. Many people get visa and don't bother to travel before the visa expires because they are doing something valuable with their life in Nigeria. I don't argue with you that the topic is however a joke because its not practical in the bigger sense to be a news. |
2legit2qwt:It is most likely satire. However, not everyone is desperate to go abroad. |
cc150615:After telling you I work in the industry? Well, no wahala ![]() |
cc150615:Sorry I am not here for you and don't care what your opinion is. I am out of this thread. |
cc150615:The 14 million gross I quoted is for fresh graduate with 0 year experience. |
RedBenson:I am referring to a staff employee working for one of Shell, Chevron, Exxon, Total, ENI and Addax. Contract staff can earn more or less depending on negotiation. |
MarvellousGod:I know its difficult for you to believe because of the high level of poverty and unemployment in Nigeria but it is the bitter truth. Nobody will show you their payslip or even tell you how much they earn. |
RedBenson:I work in the oil and gas industry as an Engineer. |
RedBenson:None of the IOC pay entry level less than 14 million naira per annum. |
Politically correct nonsense like you'll hear from the likes of David Cameron and Barrack Obama |
thoexynne: No. Conclusive evidence prove that yetI am not a doctor but you can google more about it if you want to. |
thoexynne: Get a vasectom after one or two if. U don't want moreVesectomy increase your chance of having prostrate cancer by 60% so it's not that easy. |
Ojestas: I disagree. They even foot more than the bills.m I am very sure by 100% that you are not married otherwise you won't make the above comment. |
superior1: Shouldn't the identity of officers on this kind of mission be classifiedMy thought exactly when I first saw the news on CNN. They have put this woman's life in danger all in the name of proving that women can do what a man can do. How many of the male pilot have you seen interviewed live on TV? This is stupidity at its peak! |
The only solution from my own experience is by doing it often then it becomes a part of you. |
pdesmond1: The possibility is quite high, this is because you will be able to get 1 year of residence permit which allows you to look for work and be able to work. Once you get the job, you or your employer can file for extension of your residence permit. After uninterrupted 5 years of working, you can apply for permanent residence card.Getting a job after graduation is not as easy as Desmond have put it. As at when I graduated, you must have a job that pays you atleast €28,000 which is not quite easy for many people even after getting your MSc degree. I graduated from TU Delft which is a very top and oldest Technical University in The Netherlands as there are only 3 Technical University in the Netherlands (TU Delft, TU Eindhoven and Univ of Twente) and companies do come to recruit students before they graduate. The unfortunate thing is that most companies refuse to employ Non EU graduate because they have to prove to the government that there is no qualified Dutch or EU citizen before they can employ you which is quite tough. But if you are coming for an Engineering/ Science based degree, then you have a much higher chance of getting a job because there are always better opportunities for Engineer/ Scientist and you don't have to speak Dutch to get such jobs most times. But for those coming for humanities studies, I will not advice you to waste the high tuition to come in The Netherlands because nobody will pay you €28,000 after graduation and you will most likely have to leave after the 1 year search expires. The point is things are not as easy as people present it because I know alot of Nigerians that had to leave the Netherlands after one year of doing menial job in The Netherlands post graduation. Infact more people leave than remain after graduation because they don't want to remain illegal and continue doing menial job after getting an expensive foreign education. Many of the guys that go back to Nigeria, end up getting much better job than they were doing in The Netherlands while so many other leave for other countries for further studies because it is much easier to go to US, Canada and any other country you can think of with your Dutch degree. If you are coming to study in The Netherlands, the primary aim should be to develop yourself and get a very sound education because if you come with the aim of working from day 1, then you would most likely be disappointed. Also for an aspiring MS student, you must have the first year tuition and cost of living to be able to survive properly because raising €12,500 for tuition alone for a school like TU Delft is tough when you are only allowed to work for just 10 hrs in a week. Even the Dutch and Europeans don't have that money to pay for tuition. |
nodawa: I'm on short visit visa cos I will be in Netherlands on 26. But I wish to visit France , how easy for someone to cross from Holland to France or is it possible for me to go straight to France cos I booked for air France ticket so after some days I will now move to Netherlands . Pls I need your enlightenment on it. Thank you.You can travel freely within EU zone (excluding the UK) with your Schengen visa but I will advice you to travel by air because the immigration police might harass you at the border between EU countries because of your skin colour and passport. |
Hembelembe: hi, I intend coming to netherland with my family for a phd in political science in any govt owned school. What will it cost me (accomodation n school fees)? How is the life there and any info you can share. ThanksCost of living is expensive in Europe generally. I graduated from Delft University of Technology and was paying close to 400 Euros per month for a single room with shared kitchen and bathroom in the city of Delft. So if you have a family, you will be looking at spending atleast 600 Euros in housing alone. Now the biggest issue is your work restriction while studying in Europe including The Netherlands. You are allowed to work for I think 20 hrs per week and you need to understand Dutch for you to be able to do 90% of the jobs that you will be allowed to do for 20 hrs per week. Your wife is not allowed to work while you are studying so you have to prove you have enough funds to take care of her and your children. I studied on scholarship so funds/ cost of living was not so much of an issue for me. In summary its not easy except you get a scholarship or you're from a wealthy home but travelling with your family will be a bigger burden to deal with. If you have a good job, consider a part time PhD program. |
adeogunoga: hello house i just got Email to day that i should give them my arriving date so that they can work on my insurance please highlight me on it does that really mean am getting my visa or what please i need to know i will really appreciateVisa and insurance are 2 different things. Everybody living in The Netherlands must have a health insurance and it is a crime not to have one. As long as you've paid the required deposit to the school, your visa is almost guaranteed. Just relax for the visa. |
elfico: how many israeli statements were issued when a young boy was shot when protecting his brother from sniper fire as they tried to gather fodder for animals close to the border. How many killings have gone unnoticed since the 2012 ceasefire? How many did israel apologized for? You all like to buy this terrorist line. Even if a movement is freedom fighting, everyone likes to see it as terrorist organisation. Why? Because it will justify any atrocity they carry out against such group. The brits did the same with the IRA.The person you're arguing with doesn't know anything about the origin of the conflict including the Isolation of Gaza from West-bank and the complete blockade of Gaza by Israel but just depends on all the double standard rhetoric coming from the US government. Do not argue with someone who does not have an independent mind of reasoning. |

, they are putting the lady-pilot in danger in my opinion
