okeyxyz: At first I thought this might be an interesting read, but unsurprisingly(like most atheists who do nothing but worship dawkins, rather than do some actual thinking) you disappoint me by asserting the bolded, so I just stopped reading at this paragraph and would read no further. If you demonstrate a lack of understanding of the very basic fundamentals of any philosphy, how could you possibly get the other, more advanced parts right?? Impossible. You are also i.diot for not believing in Allah cos that also makes you an atheist to the Muslims. |
peter1994: I'm a chemical engr student (and by God's grace i'm goin to gradg. .with a 1st class). Havn read d post about unemplnt in naija ystrdy i got inspired to start making plans ASAP. .i have interest in norway, so part of my plan is to start learnin dia language, (what is ur view/which language do u advice me to start with? because sm1 mentioned 2 lang. .earlier) pls help ur boy plan.My advice is to get your first class and apply to study Petroleum Engineering at the University of Stavanger in Norway and you will most likely get full scholarship. Your chance of getting a job post graduation is over 70% guaranteed with the 30% depending on your interpersonal skills because countless number of companies come to recruit on campus before you graduate. Never go to the UK to study Petroleum Engineering because Norway gives you the most opportunity after graduation. |
ennon92: y is dis muron bleating.Typical dumb and stupid Nigerian with nothing to offer and plenty to steal and claim. Idi.ot |
Kalamaya: Norway for me remains the best place to live. I'm Still enjoying the decision i took four years ago by migrating with my family to Norway. The advantages are just too much.I prefer Denmark to Norway. I currently work and live in Norway, Stavanger to be precise and the cost of living is too high plus you pay some money for medical after paying crazy tax unlike Denmark where medical is free. |
Nigerians like to take pride in what they didn't work for. The guy is first an American before a Nigeria and nobody bothered to mention that coz you all like to reap where you did not sow. |
olumide5050: @OP who told you that the government don't know the sponsors of Boko Haram? If pastors gather and pray and God reveals these sponsors, will you believe? What physical evidence will the pastors tender?God gave us brain for a purpose, and there is what is called security intelligence. The government should stop stealing money and invest in human resources that can handle security problems such as Boko Haram. If pastors pray and God reveals the sponsors, who will d pastors give their findings to Police or SSS?when did ds agents start collecting evidences from spiritual exercises...God is not mocked, for what ever a man sows the same he shall reap. Our leaders put selfish interest before national interest,so what u get is what is happening to us.They could have invest wisely in security, but no,they decide to chop d money. As we speak our borders are porous,we don't know those who come in and go out.Should the pastors pray to know that too?We can as well close down the government and ask the pastors to take over with Prayers.Everything you just typed above is bullshit. Why not pray to god to just kill all the bokoharam people and their sponsors or does god enjoy their continuous massacre of innocent people? Better still god can just make them to repent and stop their wicked ways but religious people like you will always look for an irrelevant and meaningless excuse for your god's deficiencies. All the measures you types about SSS et al. are all man made construct with zero influence from god. |
jayriginal: ^^^Read all your post on this topic and ask who need to use the brain here. |
crissmac: please permit me to answer your questions; How did you get to know that god answers prayer in one of those 3 ways since his ways are mysterious? Christianity is really a joke. |
jayriginal: ^^^As simple as my explanation is, you still want to argue.I clearly explained that science is subjected to scrutiny and corrected if need be (meaning I have accepted it is not perfect) unlike bible which people believe is infallible despite all the errors in it, so i dont understand what you are saying. Also back to the OP, he is still ignorant and have a very flawed understanding of what science is all about so you dont have to try to help him paint his ignorance in another ignorant way. |
jayriginal: There is really nothing wrong with the OP apart from the title. The average scientist should not be classified with people as you have used above. Most human don't reason with their own brain but rely on people to teach them what to believe in without trying to reverify if what they are taught have some element of truth based on reasoning. Scientist on the other hand are taught to scrutinize everything they are given over and over and over again until there is a certainty their their premise is not flawed. Even law of conservation of energy which states that "matter cannot be created nor destroyed but can be changed from one form to another" have been accepted by scientific community not to be absolutely true because matter is actually destroyed in nuclear reactor and relevant modifications have been made to the law. Despite countless number of flaws that have been found and published on the bible, christians still believes that the book is 100% perfect which makes it very appalling for a rational thinker because its just impossible to comprehend how people with brains could believe all the crap and stories in that book without asking questions until they find logical answer but it usually end in "god works in a mysterious way" or "who are we to question god?". Science is based on fact and not fiction like the ignorant OP have depicted and your supporting him shows you don't understand the meaning of science. Also not all atheist are scientist or refuse to believe in god because of their understanding of science. Common sense and a little study of history is enough to let you know that all religion are man made and therefore lack no single credibility when scrutinized. Religion is only transfered down from generation to generation like a culture through intimidation and coercion |
The level of the OP's ignorance is irredeemable. You need a proper formal education. |
Even though I live and work in Europe, it is only when I am in the midst of blacks(Nigerian or not) that the issue of god comes up. I work in a predominantly white company and so I don't have to deal with the religious nonsense all the time except when i am in the midst of blacks outside work. They sometimes ask me why I am trying to behave like a white man for not believing in their imiginary god and I respond to them with the question on whether they are inferior to the white race, for them to set a different standard as to what is allowed for the white man and black man respectively. It is difficult dealing with black people because many are too backward in reasoning both home and abroad and are ready to carry on with superstitions fed to them from home without trying to be abit objective by asking rational questions. |
chigonye: The fool hath saith in his heart, 'there is no God'.....You are the bigger fool here. How does quoting an ancient book written by ignorant men answer any of the questions raised above? You just regurgitate nonsense like a non reasoning or brainless human without even being objective a little bit. If you have no answer to the above questions, just shut up because silence is better than making a fool of yourself |
Gboliwe: Your opinion. Even doctors testify they don't heal people. Who God shows mercy, He shows mercyIt is only religiously deluded doctors that say they don't heal people. Also try and stick to the topic |
I think the final decision lies with you. I was seriously adviced by people not to leave my high paying job by the Nigerian standard for a masters in Europe but I did and I am very much happy for making that decision today. Most people will tell you not to resign because they feel 200,000 NGN is a big money but as far as i am concern, that is too small for you to mortgage your life on. Life is full of risk. I lef Nigeria for my Masters in 2010 which is peak of recession and that didnt stop me from getting a very good job even 6 months before graduation. I think its better not to speak to people anymore because most will tell you not to go for your masters. The final decision will have to lie with you and please put marriage in your lowest priority now until you have some level of satisfaction career wise because your career determines what kind of future you'll have i.e A bad career means unfulfilled marriage. Also there are lots of things you learn about studying and living abroad which goes beyond the job people always like to stress on. The average Nigerian is backward in reasoning and very much uncivil in the public including the educated ones that is why the whole country is messed up. Studying/ Living abroad helps you to get some level of sanity and civility in your life which is something you cannot really quantify. Also you get to be in a multicultural environment which helps to build your confidence in the future and also develops many other skills which you will never learn working in a purely Nigerian work environment. The final decision however lies with you and like I said earlier, stop telling people you plan to resign because they will discourage you from doing that especially the ones that gain from you financially currently. Good luck with your final decision. |
Mrs.Chima:For every one man collecting child support, you have roughly(just a rough guestimate) 99 women collecting child support, so you point above is meaningless. The legal system we have today in the west is 99% pro-women. A man sleeps with an underage girl and goes to jail. A 20years girl sleeps with an underage boy(13 yrs) and have the right to come out publicly to claim that the boy(now 14) is the father of her child so as to get some financial supoport from the boys family and she is not thrown in jail. That is how bad the western legal system have dehumanized being a male. |
surety: Hello all, dis trend has been so educative,I have learnt a lot, my own situation is dat I applied for the visa in july and the consular issued me a 3months visa, she asked if I was pregnant and I said no of which I lied, because I didn't get all d enlightenment I have now...I had so much fears as to what to expect at POE but God made it all simple,I was given 6months by CBP...my cousin applied for the 'wic' benefit for me,which started immediately I got in aug. And I already applied for chips which am expecting their response...am in houston but all the info I got scares me a lot about renewal of the visa wen next I want to apply...You decision is very dangerous and you risk being banned from the US for a long time if you apply for visa again especially from Nigeria. $2,500 is just too small to have a child in the US and also hope you don't have any complication because that will be a different ball game entirely. |
I quit my job in Nigeria to study for a MSc degree in Europe and I am better off today. I can't tell you to resign and follow thesame step with me but you have to know that what you want to do is a big risk and there is no way of predicting what will happen to you after you graduate with a degree in the US, but if you are planning to continue in the IT sector, then you should not have too much problem getting a job after graduation since you already have some work experience. In my own case, I already had some work experience in the oil and gas industry in Nigeria and studied Petroleum Engineering. Always know that your work experience is very valuable anywhere. I guess the decision was quite easy for me because i got a full scholarship with monthly stipend while studying. |
bridgie: @tobiojo2002, pls wer was ur POE, newyork, atl or wer?I went in with my wife through Atlanta when she was already 31 weeks(she gave birth at 35 weeks) and we did not have any problem. I left the US after 10 days and traveled back to the US about 4 weeks after leaving through the same Atlanta after my wife gave birth and they did not bother to ask me why I am coming back so early after leaving just 1 month ago. Also they stamped my passport for 6 months on both occassion. If you are a frequent traveller, you will not have any problem but if you have a fresh passport, they might put you through some scrutiny. |
hayubee: Attimes I ask dis same questions with their hilarious feminist campaign! If women are equal then ther shud only b unisex toilets , I wud like to see a boxing match between a man nd a woman! The bolded is completely false. Men die much younger than women because society expect them to work their life out for thesame women who think they are in everyway equal to the man, without being ready to take most of the responsibilities handled by the man. We live in a fu.c.ked up world! |
How come all the demons are black while the people in hell and angels are all whites? Does that not tell you that the Korean women was disillusioned in her vision while she and her god are racist? So you mean to tell me that with all the various rebellious anti-Christian religions in Africa, this woman did not see any black person in hell that wasn't a demon? I really wonder how you Christians reason because you have to be really really daft to believe all these nonsense. |
Why waste all your life going to school? Life is too short for all those further education pursuit you stated above. Invest the money you have in your Agricultural business, attend some courses in areas related to the business you're doing and grow from there. Don't waste your time studying any Finance at this stage of your life. |
Most religious people are so daft that they are ready to believe any story to solidify their delusion. The above story was first published by daily currant website (http://dailycurrant.com/2013/07/01/nasa-finds-message-from-god-on-mars/) which is also quoted in your above link. But you forgot to study the aim of the website which is clearly outlined in this link: http://dailycurrant.com/about. The publications in the dailycurrant website are purely fictitious satirical stories aim at ridiculing the timid ignorance which obstructs world progress, and promote intelligence - which presses forward. The funny thing is that you religious brainwashed people refused to read other news in the website to actually find out how credible they are, but you were very willing to propagate this one which shows how narrow your brain reasoning is. Your brain is meant for thinking and analyzing events and not just accepting all nonsense it is fed. |
Fadelex: for those likening this case to Iraq and Afghanistan, bush and Blair acted based on intelligence report that Saddam Hussein was having WMD (weapon of mass destruction) and their activities were sanctioned by UN security council... where as al-Bashir was desperate to hold on to power...Just to point out the flaws in your above statement, the American led coalition force that invaded Iraq have not found any weapon of mass destruction in Iraq as alleged since Saddam Hussen fell. Also UN did not sanction the invasion. America and its allies invaded Iraq against the ruling of the UN which in itself is a crime. Then convictions of the ICC so far, shows that it was a body set up convict non western leaders which to me is a double standard. Note: I am not in any way in support of the Sudanese leader but just stating the facts. |
Why is Bipi not in Jail? He has already caused alot of troubles and should be tamed in order to prevent future troubles from him. |
bolanleife: @tobiojo.. how did you book delta please. what website because on delta.com, they apparently dont fly from nigeria . does anyone else know how. the flight prices for october are ridiculoussssss ... help oh bikoYou have to book KLM to fly Delta Airline from Amsterdam to the US. Flight cost is very ridiculously high depending also on the airline you book through. It actually cost me about 2,000 USD to book my flight to the US after my wife gave birth to our son mainly because I booked the flight like 4 days before I was to fly and I used KLM. Also the flight I booked was the cheapest of all my options and I had to fly first from my base in Europe to Amsterdam, then to Manchester before connecting through Delta to Atlanta. But other airlines like Turkish airline might be cheaper. |
texaco1: that link isnt credibleBecause most Africans are religiously dumb and would believe any fairy tale story that strengthens their faith. |
morizboe: have you not heard about money lodgement? A move that provides an express ground for refusal of visa by embassies.money lodgement is when you deposit a huge amount into your account for the purpose of presenting it to the embassy and if I should do that now that I have barely a week to submit my documents, it's a big risk. but have you seen anybody that did his own that way and scaled through? my brother Demaejy, I am at a big cross-road now. the school name is Copenhagen University and they allow a minimum of 7000 euro per semester of which the first semester must be paid by the applicant if admitted for him to be given full admission and also given the resident and work permit form which he would take to the embassy together wit other supporting documents. when studies start, the student must pay his tuition a month to the start of each new semester. How do you expect to cope while in Denmark? I work and live in Denmark and will tell you that life is very expensive here as a student if you don't have a job. Also getting a job is tough if you don't understand Danish except you work for one of the few international companies, which requires you to have an internationally recognized university degree. You said you have paid tuition for the first semester but are you thinking of the payment of the second semester tuition? Why not apply to a university in Norway or Germany instead where the tuition is something you don't have to bother yourself about? Living in Europe is not as easy as people think so always be objective in making decision. |
Hmmmm. I just had my baby in the US and have paid a hospital bill of atleast $14,000 cash as I speak and I just got another bill for about $2,000 and another bill for epidural is coming soon. Its really crazy here with so many hidden charges and they don't explain the whole details to you. Well, I will just advice any one coming here to have a baby to do proper research and also budget atleast $20,000 for the process, just incase. By the way, I already spent extra $4,000 USD on flight booking to the US and back to my base. It is indeed a mad country with everybody looking for how to get what ever they can from you without advising you properly on the cost. Also I had the child in Atlanta and my wife was in labor for 2 days. So I will end up spending about $22,000 for the whole process. That is indeed a lot of money but I had to pay all the bill to give my wife a clean sheet just for the sake of the future. |
davidylan: While it is true that there are many godless nobel laureates, it goes without saying that the majority of those who made the scientific discoveries on whose foundation modern science was laid were CHRISTIANS.Where did you put the Arabs that made lots of scientific progress when Europe was still in the dark age? |
I.Joan:Until you Christians use your God's power to save yourselves from death, you are all fools too. Try and think things thoroughly before you type because I think you sound very dumb! Tell me one christian you know that have lived forever. Just one.. |
