He doesn't have to build a house neither does he have to pay your rent when he moves out of the house. It is a different case when children are involved plus you have no higher right to the children than him.

How much property can they steal from men? Men are not so stupid in Nigeria and the legal system is not as biased as it is in the west.

My advice for you is to get your degree and leave the country. The child is technically not yours because the woman can bar you from seeing the child and the government will not do anything. Divorce her and move on with your life.

It doesn't cost much to divorce so whether there is registry marriage or not, the man can walk away when ever he likes. Separation for 3 years is automatic divorce in Nigeria law whether the woman want it or not, so I don't know why women make so much noise about registry marriage like the man cannot just move out of the matrimonial home and live alone.

Marriage is a fraud for men. Men have nothing to benefit from marriage in the 21st century because they are still expected to retain their traditional roles while women have ditched theirs mostly. The problem is that society still brainwashes young men that they stand to gain something from being married and many of them drink the Kool-Aid not knowing what they are getting into. I am very sure the situation will improve in the future as reality makes more men to choose to avoid marriage as it is already happening in the western countries.

Why don't we see picture of regular soldiers killed in action? I feel bad that only the life of an officer is valued while regular soldiers are treated as just numbers wheras we are all the same human being with different circumstances

No you are the one that is dumb here. The world is 6 billion today all due to the creativity and sacrifice of men (It was barely 1 billion in 1900). No sacrifice means no progress and sacrificing doesn'nt make you dumb. It also surprises me that you do not see how risk taking and creativity is being redifined as being dumb even though the whole human civilization have benefited from male sacrifices.

-They developed the internet

-They built all the complex electricity system we use today.
-They built massive ship which allow cargo transfer in large quantity.

-They built the complex sewage system
-They built the london tube system and other subway in the world
-They also developed the fast train and tram system used globally

-They put satelite in space
-They built an international space station that spaceship can dock in space

When ever I hear women talking nonsense about who is smatter of the sexes, I just shake my head and wonder how people can be so dumb as to not see the reality of things happening around them.

Women from time immemorial were not allowed to be ambitious and strive for power. Men decided that women are not capable of thinking or they will be rude if they had more wealth than their men. So it clamped down on women.
Nature put in the same instinct in both boy and girl babies. Its when the child is born that society starts puting the child in tge line it should tow. saying you are a girl dont do this or that and then say you are a boy act this way or that way.
We all learn and act the way society wants us to.
Take any normal child to a society where women rule and can marry as many men as they want, you will see the boy child will accept this role (wether he likes it or not is out of the question). He will just do as society expects of him. Just as women have been doing since.

At bolded, if it is true that men prevented women from being ambitious, then how come every single civilization from time immemorial were spear headed by man? Even before the world was connected together, men in every single tribe that existed dominated the society either through hunting or going to war to protect women and children. One simple question to ask you is do you think women are generally more ambitious than men? I don't mean going to university to get some degree that may or may not be useful, I am talking about being very ambitious to the extent of wanting to be very successful.
I was employed at thesame time with a European girl in my current job, to do a similar job with me which requires going offshore. The girl quit after going offshore twice because she could not cope with the stress even though she has a masters degree in Engineering. This is a girl that grew up under a very strong feminist environment that believe they can do everything. Another thing is that despite all the noise about girls being equal to boys, the people working offshore Europe are over 95% men with women doing the less stressful job when they are offshore. On the otherhand, if you go to hospital in most European countries, they have more than 80% women same with nusery, primary and secondary schools. People try to pretend that there is no difference between the sexes but men and women are hardwired by nature in a very different way.
Women generally crave to get married everywhere even in the most feminised society of America. There is hardly any benefit for men to marry these days besides societal pressure because women are abandoning their traditional role as home maker while still expecting the man to be a traditional provider.

The problem is that prenup is getting useless these days based on the most flimsy excuse presented by a woman in court. The judge can choose to completely nullify your prenup and there is nothing you can do about it so why expose yourself to a legal theft by your so called ex wife and the government?

This is why men in the west need to stop getting married because women are more of a liability and add very little value to their life.
On the flip side, news like this is speedingly helping to end marriage like polio have been eradicated in the west.

Whether he has the certificate or not does not stop him from filling for a divorce. Once the divorce is finalised, the certificate becomes useless. Also this is Nigeria we are talking about so don't expect so much from him after the separation but I believe he will still want to be in his children's life and support them financially even if you guys separate.

Women stay single in the west because most of them still leech on men in the name of state sponsored alimony and child support after separation. Check out the statistic on divorce rate before and after no force divorce was introduced. You will discover that many women know that they cannot cope without a man that is why they choose to remain in a marriage pre no force divorce law. But as soon as they were promised bulk of the man's earning through alimony and child support plus his house, many of them started making noise about being strong independent women where as there is nothing independent about them. Why should a man support you (Alimony) after you both choose to go your own way?
They survive mostly on the man's earning and also inherit the house that he would have solely completed mortgage payment on most times.

I was listening to the radio when I stumbled on a channel. What actually caught my attention was a woman saying she's been singlehandedly sustaining her home for d past four years. The presenter then told her to pass d phone to her husband, which she did.The man has a degree in accounting but has been without any source of income for years. From what he said he z able-bodied and still young. The presenter had to call him a lazy man(which I quite agree with).Not having a job for 6months or a year is still understandable for some reasons but not getting your hands on anything for 4solid years is just not pardonable.I know their case is a very pitiful one especially for d wife. Now bringing it to the general view though I don't really know how best to put it...What's your opinion here?

So it is ok for a woman to sit at home for 20 years never working for a single day and be called a hard working stay at home mum (aka house wife) but as soon as a man does it, he is called lazy where as women believe they are equal to men in words and not in deeds. I am waiting for the time when the marriage rate will drop to as low as 10% because of the battle of the sexes and see how the human specie will cope with the situation. When some women marry and expect a man to take care of her and her family almost 100%, where are you to castigate these women?

This is because most women have nothing to offer a man except nagging and sex which he can easily get else where. Also a man can easily get a maid to do all what a house wife will do without any emotional attachment. Most men marry because of societal pressure.
I will personally make sure my son doesn't marry if divorce settlement is introduced in Nigeria.
