You need to speak more often with people. Also buy all the editions of brighter grammar and learn all the tenses there while practicing with people regularly. Put an embargo on speaking your native language or vernacular and speak good English with people all the time. Some people learn English as adult and they excel in it because they take their time to learn from the scratch. Another alternative is to enrol in an English coaching class either inside or outside of school and you'll observe that your proficiency will improve with time.
If you don't solve this problem now, it will hunt you later after graduation because getting a job requires being eloquent in a job interview. Also working in an environment requires you to regularly converse with colleagues and also give presentation in the presence of lot of people. You cannot do without speaking with people in confidence so you have a lot of work to do.

Luckily, I got the student visa on Friday but the problem I have now is flight. All the airlines I have checked are refusing me to book a flight with them on the ground that my visa is not a schengen visa, and thus I would not be allowed to enter their first port of call before going to Denmark. KLM,British air,lufthansa all gave me the same response.

is there any airline tha goes directly to Denmark or which will not demand for a transit visa from me? Am right now at abuja but wouldn't mind travelling to Lagos to baord any available direct flight. If you have any information about this kindly pass it to me.

Emirate airline does not require a transit visa. You will only have to fly a very long journey first to Dubai and then to Copenhagen, Denmark. Also take note that transit time between Dubai and Copenhagen might run into several hours and Denmark is currently very very cold. All the best and good luck.

I think for education sake, it is best not to insult people who claim to be an expert in a field. You should instead provide evidence to counter their claims considering the fact that you have access to the internet and your counter claim to what ever they say should just be a few clicks away. Google is our best friend because it makes us less gullible to claims so its always best to use it to support our points rather than insulting people without having any backup alternative to what they are saying.

Women believe they own a man like a property when they get married to him. People should still have a life whether they are married or not. My getting married to you does not mean I am going to sweat myself to death to make you happy all the days of your life. I still have to make myself happy even if you are against it. Many women automatically feel they own your bank account, determine who your friends will be and the relationship you keep with your immediate family after marriage. All these people were already there before she came in and if she doesn't know how to adjust to the life, then the marriage cannot work.
It is even worst among African women who want to do nothing but sit at home, while the man works himself out and thesame women want the man to take care of her parent and her other grown up sibling. Many African women are more of a liability to a man than an asset hence the reason for their getting bad treatment from men. Even many of the so call working class women are guilty of financial mismanagement because from my experience while working in the bank years back, what most of them do with their money is buying of jewelries and traveling on vacation, while the men sweat their life out to provide for the family. Total scholarship doesn't give you any advantage in their recruitment after graduation and there is no specific vacancy timeline used by these companies because recruitment is strictly driven by need except say Shell that have been releasing Graduate Engineer vacancy around end of Q1 for couple of years now.

Religion is such a powerful tool.

It is the right of every child to get an education to atleast secondary level. It is also the responsibility of the government to devise the best means to make sluggish students to cope in schools else these children will end up being nuisance to the society if they don't have the basic education required to fit into the society.
In many European countries, they have different types of secondary schools e.g in The Netherlands, the brightest primary pupils (usually about 10% of all primary children) go to special secondary school that train them to go to university. The next 15-20% best primary school children are sent to secondary school where they are trained to be technicians and they get HND degree at the end. While majority of primary school children usually about 70% go to special secondary school that train students in vocational skills like carpentry, mechanic, plumbing etc.
The consequence of the above system is that the average university student is super smart and you see very bright people appearing to be average among their peer because virtually everybody around is smart.
Now a student going to a technical secondary school for HND degree, can decide to go to the university later if he/she demonstrates high academic skill at a later stage in life through some kind of conversion process. Thesame process applies to student that go to secondary schools meant to train artisans.
The Dutch government take care of the educational cost of these 3 categories of student up to secondary level and even without going to the university, the artisans are so skilled in their profession that they can do their job with high level of professionalism, make lot of money and be useful to the society.
The government cannot focus on education meant for University studies alone because the society will suffer from unproductive youth on the long run.

I thought the bible was 100% inspired by god i.e it is the word of god spoken and written through man. Christians just like selective picking of the bible to suit their ulterior motive. Paul was speaking based on the Jewish culture then. Because there were grudges in the church. He basically wrote that to restore peace in the church. Women were beginning to find their voices, they were filled with the holy spirit, they had same gifts as men,they could teach, prophesy,pray etc. so they started making their voices heard during worship and asking questions too. This was strange to Jewish culture. The men found it to be against the culture, so they were arguing and disturbing worship because they felt women should not talk or ask question during worship. Basically the church was gathered without a pure heart. Even the bible says we should first make peace with our fellow men(and women of course) before we approach God's throne. Paul did this to restore peace and to make people's heart right.
And if we remember, Paul was an advocate of the Jewish culture, he was taught and well informed in the ways of Jews. I think that was where his writting/opinions came from.

If every Christians could hold unto Luke 10: 2 which says "And he said unto them, The harvest indeed is plenteous, but the laborers are few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he send forth laborers into his harvest." ), it would be easier for us all. We should be happy that more people are being called into the vineyard. We need more missionaries, more teachers of God's word, more pastors. My opinion

I thought everything in the bible is the word of god? Religion and its manipulative characteristics.. Its like my uncle used to say that in matter of Christianity, god always wins no matter what you try to look into. That is to say that when something good happens, they say the lord is good but when something bad happens, they say who are we to question god?
Christians just know how to twist the bible for their own benefit. Even though I am an unbeliever, that passage is as clear as any simple written English that you do not need an interpreter to analyse before you can understand the message there.

I have no answer to that question because the west have currently pushed feminism to a whole new level supported by the law such that there are no more benefit to committing to a woman. Imagine that a man get thrown in jail by the law for failing to pay alimony/ child support even if he is jobless but the woman get put on welfare and supported by the state if she does not have a job. Women know this and take advantage by having children with so many men and getting permanent monthly allowance from this men sometimes for life.
Life time alimony does not end even after retirement. it is more or less a life of servitude by the man to the woman just because the man mistakenly got involved wit her due to societal brainwashing of the value of having a family without advising these young men of the consequences of a failed marriage which 80% of the time, is initiated by the woman because of all what they stand to gain.
Atleast 90% of my European friends are not willing to marry because they are beginning to understand how the system works and the women are the ones loosing out eventually because other women will end up treating their son thesame way they treated their husbands and their daughters will find it difficult getting married. As for the man, most end up hating the family system after experiencing what it means to be divorced

I shop with Amazon in the US and Europe all the time and the earliest delivery time I have received my order is 3 days with 4-5 days being the norm. The online company most time will have to work on a first come first serve basis and also sort what item you need to buy from a registered vendor which could be outside your state of residence first before starting processing of your order. I know that 5 days is much but if an order from a vendor in Atlanta Georgia will take me 3 days to receive in the state of Georgia, then I don't think it is very strange for a Nigerian online shop to use 5 days within Lagos even though I think they can improve.

I officially stopped going to church and declared my unbelief publicly when I was 16 years old and was still in secondary school with no sort of independence. My parent threatened to kick me out the house but left me after getting tired of me. I lived my next 14 years in Nigeria with lots of discrimination and segregation from people all around me who thought I was something close to the devil himself. I did not meet any Agnostic/ Atheist like myself until I got into Unilag and some of those guys have unfortunately yielded back to the Nigerian societal pressure by accepting delusion again. I currently live in Europe and my family back in Nigeria all see me as a lost and confused soul but I just pity their ignorance and lack of independent reasoning due to the backward superstitious society they grew up. I have made up my mind not to live in that country permanently again because I am not ready to argue with dumb ignorant people who quote bible with no single objective reasoning to backup all what they believe. I just want a peace of mind and live my life devoid of people telling me how to live it based on indoctrination rather than reasoning.
