So many dishonest folks on the streets now, quite unfortunate. |

No arguments this cool Saturday afternoon? Those arguing Amoled vs LCD screens the other day, hope you know amoled screens are more susceptible to burn in & the screen tends to lose it's brightness as it ages? Correct me if am wrong. The vibrant colour & clarity on amoled screens are cool and all but for these reasons stated above I'll rather stick with an IPS LCD screen |

My phone has been in 92% since about 2pm and e never comot for there. Funny is I've been using it since then and there's been no drop. Has anyone ever experienced this? Maybe your status bar ain't refreshing. Are your notifications icons, network signals and other items on the status bar changing accordingly? |

Reddington: Hello guys, I want to order a Xiaomi phone (from Aliexpress) today for my cousin, but I'm a little bit scared because of shipping delays & delivery due to the Chinese New year holidays. So pls I some advice: Should I go on or should I wait until it's over? Thanks. I'll advise you quickly place the order now while the Chinese holiday is yet to kickoff, so that the seller ships before winding down for the holiday. Waiting time should likely be within 21 days timeframe for non-expedited shipping. Alternatively you can patronize any of our sellers here if you can't afford to wait. lanre316: Don't risk it, except you're an aggressive risk taker. But if not, just wait till the next 3 weeks. Their holiday would have been over. That delayed shipping warning has been there since early December. The congested shipping period is getting past so no deal there |

henry007: The MIUI ads that Indians complain about, what do those look like?
Update: Seen. That's definitely too much ads. oh my! Aren't we lucky
https://www.androidauthority.com/xiaomi-miui-ads-906902/ The ads of a thing is really market dependent so we can't complain much in that regard. Do you know tecno now pushes ads to its devices too? With no way to disable it even. A colleague of mine after enduring for weeks brought her tecno device & even with my tech skills it took me awhile to know how they did it. The ads were embedded into the recent updates of the default HiOs launcher & the only fix is to wipe the launcher's cache then block it's access to data. Am sure other OEMs too are guilty one way or the order, if they ain't selling ads then they're prolly selling user data |

Zumadzay: I've been here since day 1, as a guest tho. I recently had to register. I knew how virtually every active member here came. Protein0 could have been a better tech tuber but he gets too loyal to what works for him so he will be promoting his favourite rather than review. He was dragged to this thread by the likes of akinis, Dam5reey in a Xiaomi Vs gionee argument like that. He was using gionee m5 then and dragged it out with xiaomi guys. He was challenged to get a Xiaomi phone to compare with his gionee then make submissions. He took it up out of his believe in gionee. The rest is history today Even you, no be redmi note 3 be your first phone? Bookiemart got it for you. Noobody used to be kazzonline. The likes of dustmalik, GrandMufti, toluwanimi, Gptech... At times, I read posts from some newbies here and laugh. This thread didn't start as what it is today but then utility is adaptive and that is why "we were where we're we were" today Oboi ye! henry007: If i stopped using Xiaomi phones, this thread would go back to what it used to be - mundane.
Just a bunch of touts advertising their goods and their loyal customers seeking validation from them or complimenting their Xiaomi phones.
That's not what we doing 2019.
One of the reasons i started tackling the cabal when i first got here was when i noticed droid-like behaviour amongst the so called fans and the lord dictatorship amongst the touts. I knew that if they attacked any whiff of negative xiaomi review, they'd lose their cool with a whole lot of it. That's what i did at first and indeed, like predictable bees, they came flocking with insults.
See i've moved on from all of that to just sharing my real experience. If you feel it's not good for business, y'all need to start ignoring me. Thank you! You say?
